Thing is is that out of I believe the 38 congress people in Texas, none of them want the wall. I was looking for the link to the story can't find it but I am pretty certain the majority of the people in the states on the border don't want it. But there also already is a border wall of sorts anyway other than the areas across the Rio that are unworkable to build on.

I have been following Gary Kasparov on twitter who would know a lot about authoritarianism. A lot of the lies and partial pullbacks from them are tactics and make people start questioning what they actually heard. It is something else that puts a blemish on the media. So I'm not convince that a lot of this is not by design like the leaking of the document that talked about bringing back torture, pulling back from it by denying they were the source. It got people all riled up, although Trump did say it in that TV Interview I'm now questioning whether than alleged twitter whistleblower account was also not a setup. It's amazing IMO how sort of casual they appear. This is the White House. This person acts like they are sitting by the pool texting their friends. WikiLeaks is his friend And taxpayer money is really going to be allowed to be spent on this presidents personal insecurity projects ie Voter fraud.

So we are back to the obsession over 5 million illegals voted in this election and 14% of the votes in 2008 were illegal. While the media obsesses over these obvious lies, womens healthcare gets rolled back, anti discriminatory rights for HUD get rolled back with no one paying attention to those. I'm not sure the distraction is by design because Trump just can't accept he lost popular vote, but it's awfully convenient.

SAd enough I don't think Carson is a bad person. But if it prevents Sessions from getting in who is 1000 times worse, maybe reasonable.

We Hillary supporters saw it but I think more are and certainly the democratic party itself knows it. I was originally kind of pissed at Schumer for seeing him buddying up to Sanders but I now realize he's using him because he knows at least right now Sanders has a following. I think he's going to use him until the DNC gets their act in order and someone else starts stepping to the front. Booker is already I think making inroads and a couple of others are going to gain cross country exposure and support as well. Once that happens, Bernie will be pushed off to the side. Yeah but honestly I do think even if Obama were still in or Hillary got in it would have moved forward. Not this quickly perhaps.

At least do it the way Schumer is. I am no Schumer fan but at least the democrats are heading off the infrastructure issue by releasing their own bill tomorrow. And it's smart because it's something they know the GOP has no interest in but Trump has peddled for. Now Trump wants to privatize and such but if that can be pushed aside to an extent at least we might get something bearable. Bernie just says "he'll work with Trump" with no trade plan published of his own or on the table.

Seriously can I say F Bernie Sanders. This rolling over is not going to endear him at all to anyone other than that same alt left base. If he thinks minorities are going to support him when he does things like this but then snubs his nose as what he calls identity politics he can take a flying leap. And I hope white women are waking up to this fraud. They just signed an anti women healthcare funding order yesterday and Bernie is all smiles today. Collaborating with a sociopath is not "good" it just makes you look like am enabler.

I do wonder if this is lazy or by design. It's obvious the cabinet picks are intentional in that it's the works person posssible to make the dept they run slowly dry up and die. Maybe same thing. Then they can reshape in the way they want it.

Holy moly. You mentioned this and Louise Mensch a journalist at The Guardian was on twitter today talking about how someone from Ivanka's company is peddling this and trying to get it installed on various platforms. People were calling her paranoid when she talked about it being from Russia. She was asking if anyone saw it reported on the news. If you have twitter her handle is @louisemensch and she's a verified user. I'm guessing if you know someone who has seen it being peddled she'd be interested in hearing about it.

After a couple of good days, I just feel kind of ho-hum today. I wonder if those who feel targeted feel like this constantly. Just a day off and on of hearing Trump nonsense has me exhausted. I think I need to just disconnect from it and focus. And the Bernie people don't help.

Oh there is no question that she's done. But after several months of what we're seeing now, I doubt the press and the public will be as harsh on her and I do believe her legacy is in no way going to be lock her up. The Clinton Foundation does so much good around the world, but I would love to see her do something independent of Bill. I know their a team , but I hope she does something on her own outside of politics. I do wonder if he and some of the people around him including Bannon who's honestly a smart guy, really believed once elected they could keep up the reality show atmosphere surrounding them. As completely frightened as this all makes me, I never believed it was sustainable nor did any of these hypocrites like Morning Joe, which is exactly why they a;; continued and still continue to talk about him pivoting. The only reason people kept discussing that was because they knew the circus could not last forever. I remember the stories of when Nixon's descent started, and there are a lot of the same patterns here. But at the end of it, America was a dark place then too. While we had I think decent people following in Ford and Carter to try and restore some semblance of trust, this country has never been the same since. And this is all going to make that look like child's play. I can honestly say I fear this man not just shooting a nuclear weapon at someone outside of the US, but against his own country.

I don't think there's a smoking gun either and honestly when people discuss see the taxes to determine conflicts of interest, I'm not sure what the tax forms show in respect to that. I'm also no tax expect and honestly if there is something what Schedule would show that? I do think his own personal worth is much less and while I don't think people much care about that, including democrats, no way does he want people to see that.

Seriously how many times do people really think this man is going to change or the change they have planned is positive?. Was he on Maddow about 3 weeks ago? If that was him, young black man - went to Harvard - joked about still having tons of student debt himself, LOVED him. He did talk about running but me being I have not heard much since. Probably because he hasn't been front and center. He talked about the work he was doing in SC and the types of things that you do to gain trust at the grass roots level in your and other communities, soliciting for donations for food pantry's, getting people to donate school supplies and distributing to the needy throughout the school year, getting people bus passes, transportation for the elderly, etc.. Definitely impressive. I kind of wish they could do co-chairs but know that likely wouldn't work. I'll admit I'm hesitant about Elison because I don't think the dems can afford to lose a house seat. I honestly wish there was someone else who would be speaking other than these two. Like a WOMAN. Moore was on AMJoy this AM talking about the march and ended it with telling people to support Keith Ellison for DNC Chair. Now I like Ellison but really Moore? I also like Tom Perez and he seems to be the only one kind of fired up and making Voter suppression a priority. As for the Madonna thing, I marched yesterday in Chicago - 250k people. Home, dinner, went out a bit later for a drink with a few friends not one person mentioned it or even knew about it. I only heard about it this morning. And it was a blip.

I think you are completely wrong about what people will remember about yesterday. All the major newspapers across the country have this as their lead and pictures all over the front pages. And nothing about Madonna. That being said, I appreciated the rally in Chicago. No celebs of note other than a local Olivia Staples who came out and sang I'm every woman. But it was all activists and real people and the speeches were uplifting. I think the worst thing yesterday was Michael Moore trying to co-op the DC rally by making it into a call for Bernie's people. I give Ashley Judd credit for stepping in and interrupting him before it went too far. I assume she knew why a lot of the people were there yesterday. And it wasn't to rally for Bernie and his supporters.
