  1. No, it wasn't Steven. The guy at the bar was Richard Horne.
  2. I loved the episode. It was closer to the original series' format, too, and it seemed like there was more Twin Peaks this time. MacLachlan's work as the evil doppelganger is terrifying. When he made the PD go haywire, I thought for sure all those people were dead. And then he turns right around and plays Cooper's near-total walking catatonia incredibly well. And that stunning moment when he looked at Sonny Jim and cried. I hope he gets recognized for this triple performance. So exciting to see the RRCafe. Norma and Shelly talking about how they've heard those warnings before. That shot of Becky high was beautiful. They made us wait 5 episodes to reveal that Jacoby is a nut who sells (fake) gold [!@#$%^&*]-digging shovels. OMG, Lynch. And of course Nadine watches that! lmao. Do we know the other watcher in the woods? Did I miss something or is he a new character. Very interesting stuff at the Bang Bang (the episode didn't end with them!). That Eamon Farren was terrifying and sexy at the same time. Hmmm interesting, Briggs fingerprints being found all around. So the people after Dougie & the evil doppelganger have some connection. Jim Belushi as a glorified extra! (so far). That's funny.
  3. I love it. It's so soapily frustrating. I suppose you don't stay in the Black Lodge for 25 years without acquiring some supernatural abilities.
  4. Bob still terrifies the sh!t out of me. OMG. I can't stand those flashbacks. *screams*

This Thursday, June 01, 2017, it's sunny & hot again! Let's add some hotness to that!
  9. Lucinda calls Holden "Prince Barnyard" Although I'm still in 86 (so don't really know what happens down the line), I really enjoy Iva. She feels like someone I would know in real life. I think she's a great character. The Hughes family/friends in the kitchen preparing Thanksgiving dinner makes me feel so cozy. And Tom holding Christopher once again makes me emotional. Sierra/Craig are electric even when talking on the phone. Who doesn't?!!

It's a cloudy & rainy Saturday, May 27, 2017, but our military hotness will bring some sunshine to our lives!
  11. Thanks. I've been wondering what they called Cooper's doppelganger and I'm glad it's Cooper's doppelganger lol. I forgot about the "change their hearts or die" part. I can take or leave Denise but that was one of my favorite parts of episode 4. At the same time touching and funny -- the way Lynch delivered that, so sincerely yet over the top, was hilarious.
  12. Exciting. I think we'll be checking in with all the various characters more and more as the episodes progress. I have faith he'll tie it all in together (he and Mark Frost, of course, since they co-wrote everything). Ah! I've been known to do that lol In this case, I have no choice but to wait until June 04 lol

For this Friday, May 26, 2017, the start of Memorial weekend, only military hotness will do!
  14. Jared Martin, the 7-egg omelette cowboy named Dusty Farlow, has passed away. For some reason, I would have never thought he'd be 75. My God, he was nearly 40 when he started on DALLAS! I always thought he was in his 20s, maybe early 30s on the show.
  15. The final season will officially be six episodes EW reunited the Starks This one's very nice:

    Ooooh yaaaas!
  17. Episode 4: (so, spoilers) Of course Michael Cena is the result of Andy & Lucy. Makes perfect sense! Such a nice little shock to see Bobby as a police officer. I am stunned no one's mentioned that beautiful moment when he walks into the conference room and sees Laura's picture. And the music swelled. Such an iconic moment and wonderfully played by DA. The doppelganger being mistaken for Cooper and then doing an impersonation of Cooper is so soapy. I absolutely love it. And Cooper assuming Dougie's identity is both teeth-itchingly frustrating and so very interesting. It's becoming even more clear how "Cooper's odyssey" of a return to Twin Peaks will take shape. Fine, as long as they pay it off. I immediately thought Albert was referring to Audrey. I don't know if I'd like the other character mentioned being made into a drunk -- -- but Lynch will Lynch and I'm here to see where he takes it.

For this cold Monday, May 22, 2017, some hotness to warm us all up!
  19. That is truly horrific. I find his initial desire to throw himself into work touching, if misguided. I'm glad they're taking the time off that they need. What a horrible tragedy.
  20. Heh-LLOOOOOOOOO. A third look-alike? That journey out of the Black Lodge was never going to be easy. Cooper in that casino was amusing and at the same time harrowing. I laughed a lot at the Lucy/Andy/Hawk scene. And what fun to see Gordon and Albert. For a second I thought Cooper would be trapped in the Black Lodge for episodes on end but I'm glad he's out and returning, although it (probably) isn't over yet. I wonder if the show will return to some of the more traditional Twin Peaks once Cooper makes his way back to town. Now let's see how long I can hold off before episode 4.
  21. Wow. I've only done the first two episodes so far. I'll try to hold off on the other two. At the same time, it's familiar, and yet so very different. Already two episodes in, some pieces are starting to fit together. I am really loving the evil doppelganger storyline. That song at the end of episode 2 was so beautiful and fit in so well. I nearly cried when Shelly said, "James has always been cool." What an unexpected scene to end on.
