  1. I, for one, didn't see the Charlotte twist coming. I guess it's not hard to figure out if you purposefully sit down and think about it, though. Emily gave Amanda her diary (or notebook) so that Amanda could fake the persona adequately, did she not? So, in that light, we don't really need countless scenes of Amanda almost being caught in the lie. And, if I remember correctly, she has told numerous people that she doesn't remember much from her childhood and doesn't like to talk about it, which I guess settles it. Although, I agree, Jack/Amanda are mostly a plot point and I am fine with that. It's a great point. Meanwhile, Daniel continues to be one of the hottest McHotties ever. Just Wow. The fight for Conrad and Victoria's divorce is incredibly juicy. This has the prospect of becoming a huge, wonderfully soapy story. I hope it's drawn out and nasty as hell.
  2. Tyler himself basically said on the show he isn't bi, just ambitious. He doesn't care if he has to sleep with men or women, he's an equal opportunist lol
  3. I finally caught up! Fortunately, all this ^^ wasn't what it was at all. LOL Nolan has been the perfect ally for Emily all along--two complicated characters in a very complicated relationship which cannot be fully displayed in one episode. It was never sugary sweet and he opposed--or gave her a hard time for--a lot of the things she did, as well as enjoyed a lot of the things she did. He wasn't horrified because she did something bad, he was horrified because he had come to see her as his ally, if not also a friend, and she destroyed something with someone he was (unwittingly) falling for. It was more his heartbreak at what he perceived as a betrayal. Such a great moment! I loved the twist with Ryan Huntley. Have to catch up with this week's episode lol
  4. They certainly had a very mature, mutually supportive relationship. Neil was a complete sweetheart to her, but I do think that there was, at least partly, a case of heavy rebound between them.
  5. I'm having difficulty with Season 3 of NYC. I was hooked for Seasons 1 and 2 but I'm starting to really not like most of the Housewives. It's just kinda boring... THAT'S LIFE! I loved that show! Especially Debi Mazar.
  6. LOVE this one! This has been posted before, but it bears repeating: Jill's hair toss; holy crap! Utter perfection.
  7. Honey, I typed it the way THEY typed it. Love how you thought I didn't know the difference. EDIT: Which I now see they corrected, following my comment about it. KThanxBye.
  8. These casting news are just perfect. Includes SPOILERS, so beware. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/12/13/revenge-william-devane-edward-grayson-exclusive/ Really pissed at the Knot's typo, though. Sigh.
  9. Why didn't ED want to continue as Ashley?
  10. YRBB replied to Cheap21's topic in Music & Movies
I fully expect her to clean house--and not undeservedly.
  11. I always wanted them to try Jill/Ryan. Perhaps even do a Jill/Victoria/Ryan triangle just as Tricia was exiting. Or, like you mentioned, as a result of the "Who Shot Victor?" story.
  12. Jill's hatred was so delicious! And, as for the way Billy treated her... well, sure it was horrible at times, but it made dramatic sense and seemed like the reaction a horny teenager would have. Besides, with Jill as your mother, oy!
  13. Oh well this makes more sense to me if you don't like Mac and Billy to begin with But, I'm sorry, Kruger <<<<<<Bashioum. There's just no comparison. Totally invested in her.
  14. I don't think Ralph/Amanda was a bad idea at all; it was pretty much a given that one or both of them would eventually show up and cause drama. It was just fulfilling of storyline potential. There was a lot to be milked between Mac and Amanda's dynamic, even without Ralph's presence. Of course, one has to wonder how absolutely great it would be if Ash Bash got to play this. As she should have.
  15. What did people think of the Callie storyline? I was only mildly interested but enjoyed the fact that she was still married, and the destruction it brought on Malcolm and Olivia's marriage. And what did they think about Callie 1 and 2? Was bad reception the reason for the recast?
  16. Was it offensive cos of GV? Oh yea, didn't they get together at Gina's or something and talk about their respective issues every now and then? It would have been so nice to have seen a Brad/Victoria marriage with Tom in it.
  17. What was the general consensus on the Victoria/Diego relationship? I wasn't a huge fan (I enjoyed them enough), but I have no idea how people reacted to the relationship and the character. Of course, then came those few months between Victoria and Michael and those were great.
  18. More brilliance. I saw most of the twists coming, but that didn't take away from any of the pleasure. Loved that Nolan referenced the Kinsley scale and then they had sex. Nolan was hiding a pretty mean set of abs btw lol. Emily and Daniel are awesomeness together. I'm still hoping he won't end up dead. Declan and Charlotte were a little bit better but they have to do more with them. The one who really took a great turn was Ashley. You can tell there's exciting things ahead for her. Loved what they did with Frank and the real Emily Thorne. There is just so much potential and we are seeing it fulfilled. This is exactly the benefit of long-term planning on soaps; they have a goal and they're working towards it, instead of making [!@#$%^&*] up as they go. Victoria is becoming very sympathetic, without losing any of her bitchy touch. The writers recognize that she can be sympathetic and a horrible bitch at the same time. It's called having many dimensions. As for Tyler being gay: He did make it clear that's not exactly the case. But, hey, he's a gay hustler instead of a straight one Loving that such a pivotal role is given to a "gay" character and that they have made the distinction very clear: The men he has been with have done so in their own accord. Well, except Daniel, but I have a feeling there's a lot more to that story. BUT I will say this: Kinda lame they didn't show the kiss. I thought primetime was beyond that. WTF? No episode till Nov. 16? UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
  19. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/11/03/revenge-ratings-rise/
  20. That's one of the awesome things about MTS as an actress: She is not afraid to play many, many different sides of her character and is comfortable in all of her dimensions. When she turns bitchy, boy does she ever. I really enjoyed Veronica hiding under Nikki and Josh's nose. Everything with the shooting and after was just gold, since it generated MONTHS (if not years) of story. Josh on the other hand...
  21. Yes! The little that they gave us with Emily vs Tyler was great, so I hope there is a full-blown rivalry. I wonder if they'll ever go as far as having Daniel actually have sex with Tyler. It's not strictly necessary for the story but would be, to say the least, shocking. Can't wait to see Tyler get crazier and crazier.
  22. Just caught up with episodes 5 and 6. This show is perfection, with the slight exception of the whole Declan/Charlotte thing (but they're not horrible, just less interesting and entertaining). I love that they took these past couple of episodes to deal with the fallout from all the previous episodes and to set up a whole bunch of other stuff. Emily/Daniel and Emily/Jack are both frigging fantastic, and I'll be happy whatever course this takes. Emily and Victoria continue being the two baddest bitches ever. Love Frank's sexy voice. Frank beating up Lydia was shocking soap at its best, just like when Tyler beat himself up to make it look like Daniel attacked him. He sure is gonna try to rape him one of these days, isn't he? Loving how Emily's revenge is spiraling out of control. I was so afraid for Nolan, but we know he's sticking around. I wonder what Frank will do to Emily!
  23. Haven't seen last Wednesday's episode yet (Grrrr) but an AWESOME spot for REVENGE just played during Housewives. It was seriously great.
  24. Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me
  25. Wow, Emily, you crazy bitch, how fucked up was it to lock Michelle in that container, just like you were locked up in an asylum? Brilliant stuff! Everything is coming together, gelling more than ever. I am slowly liking Declan more each episode, though not because of the actor but because of the writing. And Tyler... am I right in getting gay vibes from him? It seems like this may be the classic triangle with one person being an evil bitch only, this time, it's a guy lol At least I hope so. I really do think each episode gets better and better. And with the news about the pickup and the better ratings, I am very happy!
