32 episodes?!! OMG, the way things are going, scenes are gonna last whole episodes now. I thought I had the stamina for 16 episodes but not for 32! lol

Hmmm, hell must have frozen over because I enjoyed episode 5. There were a lot of shorter scenes, which definitely helped, and some genuine emotion came out of some stuff, especially between Hanna and Katherine. TS continues to do her best in the part of Candace. Still, repetitive dialogue was around, as always, and that part with the devil baby trying to kill its mother had me cringing. And all the preaching about prayer, etc. Ugh. Interesting that they are pulling Veronica into Candace's orbit. A good thing, I think, storywise, but a bad thing because of the actress.

What? She sang the whole song live. The imperfections/bad audio at parts were very, very clear. The only thing that was added were the background vocals during the chorus.

lol No worries! I think Warner just posted it on YouTube since it leaked. I'm glad you heard it at clubs, I have yet to hear it. I'm pretty sure the radio will ignore her, unless they make an effort like they did with Madge last year for a little bit. I hope it's included--at some point, Cher was calling it a contender for the first single. And Pink wrote her a song, too. I hope Pink's radio-friendliness give Cher a big hit LOL I would love to hear her back on the radio. The album is going to be called Closer To The Truth, btw, and is going to be released on September 24, 2013.

Wow, some of her performance at The Voice was very shaky (she tweeted about some vocal issues during rehearsal) but the song seemed to have a good reception. I think she did very well for someone her age. Eric, considering that most people haven't heard the song and it was never officially released (just leaked), it's basically new to them, so I don't think that will affect its success.

Poor Sonja! lol I like her. I see her a comic relief.

Episode 3 had 11 scenes and Episode 4 had 12! Most scenes were over five minutes, some over six! Which would be divine (for me) if they were written well To have something to compare to, the average primetime show does about 35 scenes an episode. 11 scenes is conservative even for a half-hour show!

Oh Lord, please help me! That Veronica woman acted SO over the top with her son and her suspicions. Wow. Have they never heard of subtlety? Fox was heartbreaking as Hanna tried to deal with everything. Best performance of the show, by a long shot. Speaking of acting, I'm actually starting to find O' Connell quite... OK lol Half the cast is soooo bad that it kind of elevates him. Because, really, the bad on this show is extremely bad. That idiot Amanda! A family meeting is called and she invites Candace? Like, why not? I did get some gay vibes from Wyatt and Jeffrey but I highly doubt they're going to go there.

Episode 3 was an exercise in patience and will. These long, looooong, drawn out scenes only work when the writing, acting and directing are top notch. As a matter of fact, when all of these elements come together, I prefer the scenes longer. If this is some tribute to Y&R, then he should please stop. This is Y&R pacing in the most stereotypical, cliche, inaccurate way possible.

Uuum... the whole episode felt somewhat disjointed and anti-climactic. Granted, I'm not sure anything could follow the Red Wedding and manage to top it but I expected more from a season finale. I did enjoy, once again, all the King's Landing shenanigans. The council meetings are always perfect, soapy fun and the back and forth between Joffrey/Tywin, Tywin/Tyrion, Tyrion/Cersei, Varys/Shae, Tyrion/Sansa is always great value. A bit disappointed we didn't see Sansa learn about her mother and brother but I guess it was cut due to time constraint or something. I'm afraid Shae will pay dearly her decision not to leave. I am so done with Theon. I do feel sorry for him but, at this point, I am willing to forget every single bad thing he did if it means this endless torture porn is done. The whole thing with the sausage would have been more effective if this wasn't the 25th episode of him being tortured. But I am happy Yara stood up for him and decided to find him. Did not expect Ygritte to shoot Jon (much less three times) but at the same time... I kinda did. It felt SO good to see Jon back at Castle Black after two whole seasons. I loved it when Sam and Gilly ran into Bran. Nice little collision of stories there. I am very intrigued about what's going to happen with Bran beyond the wall. Arya finally used that coin! A big WTF at Jaime strolling into King's Landing. Not too big a reaction from Cersei. The lighting at the last Stannis/Davos/Melisandre scene was so excellent and unexpected. The sun! Right there! Brilliant move. The ending... we saw this already! I would have preferred a genuine, shocking cliffhanger.

Yes, absolutely! It's really like a once-a-week, primetime version of Passions! (minus the OTT ridiculousness but that can't be too far off, and I welcome it!)

This show really reminds me of a mid-90s soap!

OMG! Just watched the first episode. Wow. Where do I begin? The ridiculous, repetitive, worse-than-daytime dialogue? The awful directing? Some of the acting (Katheryn especially)? The overhead lighting that gave the impression it was all shot in front of a green screen (I'm not 100% convinced the party goers were not spliced into the main group's background)? The comical, whimsical music? It all looked like a slightly better version of Passions. So, naturally, I'm interested to keep watching, although I don't think I will for long. Pluses: Naked Jim, Wyatt and Benny. OMG. Deliciousness. Enjoyed TS and can see her as a complicated bitch. LOVED Hanna. I think she was my favorite. I'm sad they botched the reveal between Jim and Candace. Not that I didn't see it coming but I expected it to be more dramatic. However, the dynamic between Hanna and Candace sparkled. That was the one, and only, part of the episode that felt real, resonant. Let's see....

No--I do not think she wanted to marry Frey. I agree that, from her point of view, she did not deserve it. But, having just gone through what Catelyn did--everyone massacred, shot by an arrow, Talisa (whom she was clearly accepting) stabbed repeatedly, her son having one more chance--this was the ONE way, the only leverage she had. And, in her desperation, because that's what it was, she made an oath, which she didn't break. She only killed her after Robb was stabbed in front of her eyes. Sad as it was, it is completely understandable to me. This world is full of cruelty and, sometimes, the character we see as more noble than others are the ones who inflict that cruelty!

OMG y'all, I am numb right now. I am completely numb. That look of shock on Cat's face. The repeated stabbings of Talisa's belly. Arya being soooo close and yet.... Robb getting up to face his mother. How Cat's voice turned so deep and raspy while she was pleading. Her scream. I have absolutely no problem with her killing the child. Did y'all just SEE what Frey did? It was one well-deserved move. Michelle Fairley deserves (at the very least) an Emmy nod for this.

I enjoyed that 1997 episode.... I don't know what the overall shape of the show at that time, but the episode was good. Margo was great in her breakdown, loved Lisa, all the Marlanda flashbacks, Molly/Jack, etc.

All this is true. However, LML ruined the characters. While MAB's plotting left a lot to be desired, there was at least an initial effort to return the show to what Bell had made it, misguided or bad as it was. LML also destroyed the format, style, tone, directing, lighting--in other words, she changed absolutely everything that made Y&R, Y&R. In the meantime, she also murdered the characters. There was absolutely nothing recognizable about the show back then. Returning from the damage she made is not an easy thing. And then we got MAB.

Her praise of the characters? The camera work? Her assertion that Bell's heroines were basically courtesans with token jobs? Attributing the sperm storyline to Bell? Latham took over from Bell? Praising John Abbott's death? Victoria became sharp-witted, ironic, and an ethical force to be reckoned with? Nikki an impressive senatorial candidate? And so on and so forth. Maybe if she wasn't feverish when watching, she would not have written this. And then it goes on and on and on and on. It's interesting but I don't think I've ever been so pissed by an article before. And then it disintegrates into some type of feminist something, claiming that Pratt and Spelling are paragons of strong women. Wow.

Lovely episode! I've been OK with Theon's plotline up until now. It always seemed to me as an attempt to keep him on the canvas and redeem him for being a huge sh.it the past two seasons, which I was willing to go along with. However, at this point, it's starting to get a little too much--almost as if we're watching torture porn. It doesn't help that I'm generally not fond of torture scenes (maybe cutting his penis off affected me too much ). I sincerely hope there is a huge payoff to this story (maybe the person behind this or the reason it's happening will be a huge reveal) otherwise I dare say the show has its first failed plotline in its hands (although I do feel sorry for the lad). I kinda rolled my eyes at the wilding love triangle. Are they really going there? And poor Sansa. I thought she was maturing but she is clearly still very, painfully naive about certain things. It was almost too much. Although I had much love for Tywin showing Joffrey who's boss, the amazingly done dragons (so lifelike!) and Jaime going back and saving Brienne (that bear!). And can we talk about naked Robb? I nearly died.

Being Greek as well, that's what I thought too. I guess the line delivery from both actors was just awkward (yes, even Eileen Fulton can falter!) because it almost sounded accusatory, like there would be reasons to hide it but he was standing strong The mood and tone was so somber that the humor was probably lost.

Bringing the Gendry and Melisandre storylines together in this way was fantastic (although I hear it's not true to the books). Melisandre has never been as interesting as she was in her scene with Arya. I got a real sense of her magic and her threat, even more so than when she was giving birth to shadow-demon babies. Olenna and Tywin trying to outmaneuver one another was a highlight. Loved Olenna teasing Tywin about engaging in gay activities (oh, how I wish he would!) and how Tywin ultimately got the upper hand. The whole marriage twist is giving so much life to the show, and so many possibilities. It was great to see Tyrion and Cersei kind of bonding for once. The climbing scenes were fantastic. They looked amazing and the ending was a sweet, romantic surprise.
