Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I couldn't help myself and watch Miami Season 1 since it was so short. So uninspired. I liked the whole cooking lessons thing but the biggest drama came from Cristy (hate her!) not paying for a gala? Wow. Adriana is just ridiculous. Showing up late to her own opening, featuring an artist during another artist's gala? Practically begging that man to marry her? I can't decide whether she entertains me or not. Larsa... Wow. Marisol was nice. And I LOVE Elsa. How can you not? Let's see how it goes with season 2. One of the housewives mentioned the season was cut short during that mess of a reunion. Anybody know what happened? Agreed. It picked up in a way I didn't think it would. I hope they can keep riding that wave.

That's a shame about NJ and ATL after their third seasons. Just like what happened with NYC. I hesitate to start them because there are soooo many seasons. OK, it seems MIAMI season 2 is the place to start, since we're close to season 3. I hope I can find it. Although I kinda hate jumping seasons. Thanks Eric, Daytime and Cheap!- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
None lol The only one I've seen is NYC and I think an episode of Beverly Hills or whatever that was! So I'm just figuring it out which city to pick up next. I guess Atlanta?- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
All caught up with NYC! Season 5 saw a return to the more entertaining days of the show, versus the painful Season 4. I'm thinking of picking up another Housewives show... Which one would you suggest? OC or Atlanta?- The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread

It's official: Jenny McCarthy to co-host starting September 09th. http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/07/15/jenny-mccarthy-the-view/- The Lady Gaga Thread
I think it will be very interesting to see how this turns out. It could go either way. Honestly, I think she focused too much on stunts and being "weird"... let's go back to just making good music with dashes of weirdness lol- The Lady Gaga Thread
Lady Gaga announces ARTPOP Cue the hysteria, from both fans and haters! http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1710440/lady-gaga-artpop-announcement.jhtml Love this pic:- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NYC OMG I just watched that episode from Season 5 with the "I wanna f.uck you in the ass" band. I don't know if it was staged but that was some hilarious stuff.- The View
Can't believe I never had the pleasure of seeing this before. It certainly was not a good day for EH that day lol- The View

What are Jenny and Jim doing? Thank the Lord that Hasselsucks is leaving. What an obnoxious, vile host.- Melrose Place
It gets better in Season 7? Thank God! I've been stuck in the first third of Season 6 forever. It's not necessarily bad, just... meh.- Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
All the fuckery on this show entertains me! Jim sleeping with Candace. Katheryn smoking a joint and then putting on that hilarious expression. I swear, it was the first genuine laugh they've gotten out of me lol Veronica bouncing from scene to scene, trying to be bitchy, seductive, apologetic and just being a campy hateful mess of a bitch. My God, this sudden change in Celine was so shocking and useless. What a way to create drama! It was as if there was a new character. He couldn't make one scene three minutes less so he could introduce the reasons for Celine's change earlier? Don't tell me he couldn't, episode 6 only had 10 scenes. Ten! And that ending was... OMG. I would feel really bad for Jeffrey if the actor had made me care at all. But, still... Veronica made it very clear they would not "except" him. Sad.- Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
32 episodes?!! OMG, the way things are going, scenes are gonna last whole episodes now. I thought I had the stamina for 16 episodes but not for 32! lol- Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Hmmm, hell must have frozen over because I enjoyed episode 5. There were a lot of shorter scenes, which definitely helped, and some genuine emotion came out of some stuff, especially between Hanna and Katherine. TS continues to do her best in the part of Candace. Still, repetitive dialogue was around, as always, and that part with the devil baby trying to kill its mother had me cringing. And all the preaching about prayer, etc. Ugh. Interesting that they are pulling Veronica into Candace's orbit. A good thing, I think, storywise, but a bad thing because of the actress.- The Cher Thread
What? She sang the whole song live. The imperfections/bad audio at parts were very, very clear. The only thing that was added were the background vocals during the chorus.- The Cher Thread
lol No worries! I think Warner just posted it on YouTube since it leaked. I'm glad you heard it at clubs, I have yet to hear it. I'm pretty sure the radio will ignore her, unless they make an effort like they did with Madge last year for a little bit. I hope it's included--at some point, Cher was calling it a contender for the first single. And Pink wrote her a song, too. I hope Pink's radio-friendliness give Cher a big hit LOL I would love to hear her back on the radio. The album is going to be called Closer To The Truth, btw, and is going to be released on September 24, 2013.- The Cher Thread
Wow, some of her performance at The Voice was very shaky (she tweeted about some vocal issues during rehearsal) but the song seemed to have a good reception. I think she did very well for someone her age. Eric, considering that most people haven't heard the song and it was never officially released (just leaked), it's basically new to them, so I don't think that will affect its success.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Poor Sonja! lol I like her. I see her a comic relief.- Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Episode 3 had 11 scenes and Episode 4 had 12! Most scenes were over five minutes, some over six! Which would be divine (for me) if they were written well To have something to compare to, the average primetime show does about 35 scenes an episode. 11 scenes is conservative even for a half-hour show!- Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Oh Lord, please help me! That Veronica woman acted SO over the top with her son and her suspicions. Wow. Have they never heard of subtlety? Fox was heartbreaking as Hanna tried to deal with everything. Best performance of the show, by a long shot. Speaking of acting, I'm actually starting to find O' Connell quite... OK lol Half the cast is soooo bad that it kind of elevates him. Because, really, the bad on this show is extremely bad. That idiot Amanda! A family meeting is called and she invites Candace? Like, why not? I did get some gay vibes from Wyatt and Jeffrey but I highly doubt they're going to go there.- Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Episode 3 was an exercise in patience and will. These long, looooong, drawn out scenes only work when the writing, acting and directing are top notch. As a matter of fact, when all of these elements come together, I prefer the scenes longer. If this is some tribute to Y&R, then he should please stop. This is Y&R pacing in the most stereotypical, cliche, inaccurate way possible.- The Cher Thread
She's going to be on the finale of THE VOICE, June 18, singing "Woman's World." Loving this pic/cover (dunno if it's the official single cover): - Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
