  1. Out of the Woods as next single, dammit, Out of the Woods!!!! YAY at another #1
  2. AMC 1994: Adam receives threatening note at the end of an episode. In the next episode, Gloria not only finds out and eliminates Alec as a suspect, but Adam confronts Alec, Hayley 'defends' Alec, Gloria hires Charlie to investigate it, they all get back together to discuss it, Charlie becomes suspicious and the stalker/whatever finishes putting together the second note. My God. I don't know if I'm just too used to Y&R's pace (all this is at least three months' material ) but it seems awfully fast and awfully a lot of things happening in a story that started not even two full episodes ago. Still, interesting. I don't know what McTavish's hard-on for Del is, but I'm sticking with it until the other shoe drops.
  3. I'm just catching up on the recent Kim Richards news. "Sad" is all I have to say, for everyone involved.
  4. Thank you for that. I can certainly understand how feeling passionate about a show can spill over into other things and my directness doesn't always translate well online. Nothing has ever been meant with malice, even when we disagree. In any case, I'm sorry, too. Let's start over. I really do hope they prove us wrong regarding Shireen. If not, I will still be happy though because we got that wonderfully touching scene with Shireen and Stannis. I think that might even make it worth it in my eyes. I try not to bring the books into it too often but, even as I was reading it, I just couldn't see a way that the Sand Snakes would translate well on screen. Even in the book, it's sort of ridiculous. I hope they wrap this up quickly, although I suppose a storyline is a storyline and I don't know what else they could have Jaime doing.
  5. What a beautiful thing to have serious, never-smiles Jon smile at Sam when he went to say goodbye. It was great that Sam stood up to those idiots, although I suppose he's never going to be allowed to properly learn how to fight. Sad to see Aemon go. What a lovely presence he's been on the show for so many years. Darling Sansa... she turned to Theon too fast. One can understand it, considering her desperation, but he wasn't anywhere near read to be 'turned.' I wonder if that corkscrew or whatever it was that she picked up while come into play later. Glad to see a much-less passive Sansa who doesn't seem willing to give up anytime soon. Please please please Stannis do not hurt your daughter. There is no way he will give in to that... or is there? Still "meh" at all the Dorne stuff. Myrcella/Jaime... who cares? Bronn teased by one of the Sand Snakes... who cares? All those gratuitous shots of her naked body--like, we get it. I love Cersei but, my God, what fun it was to see her ridiculous ill-thought out plan to release a bunch of religious fanatics and give them power come back and bite her in the behind. Her last line about her face being the last thing ReligiousFanatic! Brienne would see was fun, too. I was so thrilled when Dany and Tyrion met. Talk about two different worlds on this show colliding.
  6. I just really love All I Want For Christmas Is You. That's probably my favorite Mariah song ever. It's not Christmas until it starts playing over and over again. The discussion on Mariah's hits and how most have faded into obscurity is so spot on and I'd never considered it that way before. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a haaatttuuuur like AMD@GH or Vixen (love you, boos!)--in fact, I just love everything pre-Glitter Mariah. But, come to think of it, damn, most of her biggest hits are barely remembered or even known anymore versus, say, Whitney's "How Will I Know" or something else. I still remember, following the Rainbow album, how she was still on top of the world and I was dying for Glitter to be released. I would see huge posters all over the record stores and, yes, I even loved Loverboy. And then Glitter came out. And, OMG. I've never seen anyone tank and fade and crash and burn just so fast. She should have never abandoned pop for R&B, also.
  7. So was Bright Eyes calling you a piece of sh!t, too? I've told you, as well as others, what the truth is. I have no reason to lie to you because, if that's what I thought of you, best believe I'd tell you straight to your face. But I am done. I can't deal with your persecution complex. +1 But they're never going to let this go.
  8. Aaaah. Very interesting. It sounds nice that they did that. I've always thought airing new episodes on Christmas day is actually a pretty good idea. That Stephanie/Sally stuff you mentioned was fantastic. I used to have that episode up but it was taken down by the 'bots.
  9. .... Hmmm, I don't believe they usually aired new episodes on the 25th back then... It seems more likely this would be from Friday the 22nd... (unless Bell was late and did it on the 26th )
  10. Even they realize what a complete plot device, and therefore non-entity, Michael was! Character? Personality? Who needs those things!?
  11. Alright, for the sake of ending this, I will address this one last time, since you don't seem to want to stay out of something that doesn't involve you. So by saying, right under my post, "you're trying to make him out to be some sorta monster/bully is absolutely laughable. Especially given how utterly demeaning/rude you are to those of us who.... etc" you meant the plural "you"? OK, I'll believe you if you say so. Honestly, I'm not being sarcastic. But, just for the record, that wasn't clear. I don't think so. I went easy on him following his entire post dedicated to telling me how he doesn't like me. Won? Sigh. If indeed he doesn't, that is something DRW50 said out of the blue and volunteered for. I already told him what I think of that. That's not what this is about. Exactly! Geez. But I guess now he's figured out my character Damn. So, let me try this: GAME OF THRONES discussion....... Go!
  12. Thanks, YRFan for all the re-uploads! Christmas episodes are probably the nadir of Y&R uploads--considering all the holiday music they often have, they're an even bigger target than the regular episodes themselves!
  13. POS, please. I have rarely, if ever, interacted with you regarding GAME OF THRONES, so your assertion that I am utterly demeaning/rude to you is beyond comprehension, not to mention that I never said anything about him being a bully or a monster. Carl doesn't need your defending, he brought this on to himself. Do not continue something you were never a part of.
  14. Carl! What horror! The veneer breaks! But since you decided to bring the personal into it, I'll jump into the rabbit hole! That has already been covered. Post #1622 and earlier. You are. You just really hate having your opinions shot down with actual facts. Again, you either never read the interview (probably just looked for the parts you could quote to 'support' your arguments) or are directly ignoring things in order to support your views. Like it has been said, Sansa and Littlefinger (and, apparently, many others) do not know Ramsay's true colors. I don't think it's something that necessarily makes a lot of sense but it is something that has been shown and exhibited onscreen AND in the writer's words. You have no leg to stand on here. The funny thing is that I've already said how I can see why this was so upsetting to fans. But you've ignored that, too, haven't you? But, no, me saying that things I've already said are being told to me is apparently not true: Which is untrue, considering I said Sansa changed and matured throughout the years only to be followed by several posts of "But Sansa started changing in season 1." That's where that comment came in. But you'll ignore that too! It's not a difference of opinion because we are saying the same things about 95% of it. But, as you've already admitted, you don't like me, so as always you harp on the one thing we differ on and, you guessed it, proceed to tell me what I've already said about what we do agree on. I was giving you an out but you decided to make a post specifically to talk to me "honestly", etc. So be it. The issue here however is not that I am upset, which I'm not, it's that you don't appreciate the fact that I don't let you make your sweeping, subjective, totally erroneous judgments without calling you out on them. But that's the point of a discussion board, so... Now you are being childish and ridiculous. So, is that it? Are we enemies forever? Are you going to be, from now on, the Kay to my Jill? The Brooke to my Stephanie? Or the Brooke to my Erica? Wait, you'll probably disagree with me on who is who! Don't think I will be putting you on ignore. Oh, no. I shall continue to read and it'll give you a chance to play victim some more!
  15. Gosh, that was great. I was hesitant at first, but what a delight. The part with Jon/Ygritte/"You know nothing Chris Martin" was flawless.
  16. Yes, I really do think you misread or assigned your own meaning to the words. Especially since it was explained by both the writer AND the article writer. People keep forgetting that Sansa doesn't really know the kind of monster Ramsay is. Myranda told her but Sansa assumed it was just a scare tactic. Sansa decided to marry that man and went into that room talking about how her previous husband had been kind and gentle and never touched her. It's clear she was hoping Ramsay would do the same. She certainly didn't think, "Oh, well, time to get raped to further my agenda." Jesus. Do people really believe that? Despite Sansa's character growth and small changes, she remained the stubborn, naive little girl who had fantasies of being wed to a beautiful prince and living happily ever after all the way into Season 4 (this is not a bad thing. I think she is fascinating). It's only after the events with Lysa and her insipid child that there was a shift in Sansa, something moved, and she truly 'woke up,' 'matured,' realized something had to change/she had to do something. In any case, I'm not going to continue this conversation, especially since what I have already said is being told to me as if I didn't say it.
  17. Family-oriented, character writing is not the first thing that comes to mind regarding PASSIONS but I am continuing my watching (for some reason) and was pleasantly surprised by an excellent scene between Simone and Kay, where they both talked about the specific relationships they have with their parents/siblings and other members of their family. Kay, who has been largely a scheming, selfish shrew so far (not that I mind) exhibited a great vulnerability in just one scene that I think will stick with her. Meanwhile, I just about died laughing at a comment saying that, if Faith really was that concerned about Charity, she would go to Harmony, instead of sitting around the house praying and chatting to herself. Ain't that the damn truth. The Faith/Grace actress continues to be horrid. What an utterly delusional, nasty twit Theresa is! Ethan's delusional too: "You're still upset because I said Theresa's name when I was sleeping?" Frank is cute but plastic as they come. Kay/Simone/Miguel/Reese and Charity have all been standing in the kitchen talking about going to see Grace for at least three episodes now. Lord!
  18. What did they do to him?
  19. This was referring to her decision to agree to Littlefinger's plan and marry Ramsay. It had nothing to do with the rape. Read the whole article for a clearer picture . Not really. I don't even know where you came up with that. Sansa, all the way up to season 3, was still VERY much the same naive girl, with fairytale notions, that she was at the beginning. Yes, it lessened. Yes, her father's death, Joffrey's abuse, etc, did make her grow up a bit but she retained that original self for very long. It was until following her exit from KL, Lysa's murder and the stuff with Littlefinger that she truly started to morph into someone else. There was a definite shift in Sansa. You are making all kinds of assumptions about what we'll be seeing with the Sansa/Ramsay story but, in reality, we really don't even know what's to come. You did the same thing regarding Brienne and we quickly saw that was not the case. How is this a retread when it's been ONE scene?Let's not even get into the fact that a lot of this story, so far, has to do with Theon, and what he did. What they have to reveal about Sansa through this marriage may be something neither you or I have any way of predicting.
  20. I have two seasons left and it breaks my heart that it's going to have to come to an end sooner or later. Well, it's understandable that they wouldn't want to see her victimized any more but it's clear that things are changing. That's not going to happen overnight (or even in a season). Sansa first has to grow into the person that will bring on that change. Sansa is being set up towards... something and her change started becoming very apparent in the second half of season 4. It's happening. That's clear. She's not all of a sudden going to tell Ramsay "no sex for you" and all will be fine. She's not all of a sudden going to have Catelyn's strength or talent in manipulation, although clearly the have hinted she will grow in these regards. They will build on her 'revenge' or whatever and, so far, there has been no indication that that isn't the case. That being said, I really do need to see Sansa truly get revenge. There needs to be pay off, big time. Nothing is too small for the Boltons. If this is the interview you're talking about, then I don't see any such implication. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/05/17/game-thrones-sansa-ramsay-interview
  21. Meh. Didn't like it that much. How is this even a music video? It's more like an extended trailer, with barely any story or coherence in it. All the cameos are a lot of fun but, again, it barely makes any sense. If they planned to continue the story in another video, that would be something. But meh. I did like the remix a lot. I thought they did a great job with that.
  22. LOOOOOL! YES!
  23. I'm glad they gave Jorah a moment to learn about his father. I thought it was fun how Tyrion manipulated the slavers. And, Adebisi! OMG! How nice. The Sand Snake stuff was ludicrous. Wasn't feeling it at all. I hope we're mostly done with that, although Myrcella and Trystan is it? They were cute. Littlefinger telling Cersei where Sansa is so he can become Warden of the North was a nice little twist. I don't think we've yet seen the full picture, so it'll be interesting to see how this develops. Poor, stupid Margaery. It was clear where this was going with her testifying in front of the Gods. Kinda fun watching Cersei's manipulations against Margaery climax but still... It was nice seeing Olenna again. Poor Sansa! Not that this was unpredictable or avoidable in any way. Yawn at all the outrage. Ramsay is a sadistic psycho who tortured Theon for weeks before cutting his dick off. It's a surprise that, after marrying Sansa, he'd be rough with her? I am at least glad they mostly implied the whole thing and the acting from Sansa and, especially, that ending shot of Theon were heartbreaking. Now, Sansa, you cut Ramsay's dick off!
  24. Episode 5: It is great to see Jon becoming 'a man'. Utterly fascinating. Stannis saying his goodbye felt so big and important. They really have managed to develop him even more. The Sansa actress did a wonderful job with the discovery of Reek and the lunch with Ramsay and Daddy Bolton. Phew -- another episode where she hasn't been raped! Jorah and Tyrion going through Valyria and seeing Drogon was stunning. Just beautiful FX, and so poignant for both characters. When we saw the man behind Tyrion, I gasped. Poor Jorah being infected. Dany feeding the dragons -- yas, bitch. Simply put. Loved it. A bit WTF at her deciding to marry what's his face. Grey Worm's alive -- yay! Once AGAIN, Grey Worm and Missandei brought me to tears.
