Steve on Days was a surprise to me. He was gone a long time.

Olivia on Y&R. Greta on Days.

I liked Precious Way a lot more. Her Chanel made me feel good to watch, somehow. Raven Bowens immediately injected self-consciousness and guilt into the character...

Ordway needs to go, 100% straight up. Abby is so inconsequential that they could recast her with a 22 year old and it wouldn't mess with anything.

Remember when they brought back JKJ the FIRST time and people were like, "Oooh! Maybe he's going to be a darker Philip, more like Victor. And he remembers to limp!!"? Yeah... still disappointed.

Y&R wants everyone on the show to be 45, whether they're 29 or 65.

Corday has to be the source of the show's tastelessness.

Nick could have been THE character of the decade. There was no one awkward and geeky like him on soaps; it wasn't overdone. They apparently couldn't handle writing a character that required careful balance, so they made him a psycho creep. The whole thing was off, because it was clearly the pills that made him screwed up, but then they just went "Ehh, oh well, let's go all in."

A pair of characters, possibly Jack and someone else, were walking through an alley and a line of skeleton children shuffled and danced past them. It was totally random.

It was close to being the actual worst. Bleeding tree stumps. Skeleton children dancing through the alley. I feel like I'm being gaslit because no one else mentions those specific things.

I agree, it hasn't. That extreme level of cheap, campy trash has continued to persist in varying amounts over the years since then. It definitely ain't just Ron.

They were on the verge of recovering from the possession when Passions came out like a wet fart. As if late '90s Days weren't cheap and trashy enough.

They were right to kill off Stefan and bring him back as Jake, but Jake lost 95% of his personality when he became a DiMera businessman overnight. If he were still living in the garage as an outsider going, "WTF is wrong with these people?" it would work.

I hope they remember this time that he has a personality. I don't even mean his autism.

Can she at least watch Eileen for a few minutes? Her delivery is awful. She always seems clammy and breathy. Kristen is not a stereotypical TV mental institution bipolar woman, but that's how she plays her. I've said it before, but she's good on prime time... her approach surely should be more malleable.

I think Carlivati watched 2003 JER Days instead of 1995.

Hair looks a lot more like James Scott. It is a crappy screenshot, but I did a double take. Edit: Y'all are saying it's curly, so never mind. Can still tell it's a much better look.

JKJ looks like he's been on the bad drugs, or maybe just malnourished. Too bad about Storms. She didn't look too bad from a casual glance, but maybe she just still looked youthful compared to Martha Madison. FWIW, I think Madison looks a lot better with hairstyles that she normally doesn't wear. It's not expected, but they definitely do it from time to time.

They all look so rough. Imagine Storms and/or Cook returning... I presume they still look fresh, since they did a couple years back. It would look really glaring. Martsolf looks better than a few years ago when he too was starting to look used up.

Jake was watchable until he left the garage. Now, what's the point?
