  1. I get the sentiment. I do. But many people only survive on Social Security checks. Which would stop if there is a shutdown. I'd LIKE to believe it is those people Dems are thinking of. Lord knows, the GOP never does and never will.
  2. I think Gina was almost a victim of her own success as part of "Keith and Gina". But then, on SB, that could be true of any of the pairings. I mean, consider Julia. She had flings before Mason and tried to move on after she divorced Mason, but "Mason and Julia" endured, leading to marriage #2. And we saw just how off track Cruz got post "Cruz and Eden". (In both cases, however, it can maybe be defended as being the latter twilight half of the show, and the better writers had departed.) But back to Gina, same thing. Once Keith left, Gina floundered. And, unlike with Mason, who was successfully recast, John Novak as Keith bombed during a Round 2 with Gina and everyone else, so it just became "throw something at the wall and see if it sticks". And not much did until Lionel. And even that, IMO, was less about success than giving both Nic Coster and Robin Mattson something to do with both Keith and Augusta out of the picture. (Lord knows Jack Wagner's iteration of Warren seemed to cast Lionel aside with the "reveal" (in the show's last gasp desperate days) that Warren was not Lionel's bio son, all so Crazy Cassie could be with him...and he went for Angela, instead. So, a waste for no reason.
  3. From what I read, the vote is proceeding without him. At this point, let this pig with lipstick pass. All the Sunday shows had folks saying how bad this is. But some won't get it 'til they hurt. So do it. Then remember and VOTE the GOP OUT in 2018.
  4. We have now entered the censorship part of this hellhole of an administration. The admin has FORBIDDEN the CDC to use the following words in any official documents for next year's budget: Vulnerable Entitlement Diversity Fetus Transgender Evidence-based Science-based I kid you not! Scared yet?
  5. All for this.
  6. And so far, Chester the Molester is ahead in Alabama. Can we build a wall around them?
  7. I did get the CD. But the great part about buying it from Amazon (which I did) is, you also get a free rip of it digitally. So it being a bit more pricey seems worth it to me.
  8. Gwen Stefani's new Christmas album, among the tracks, this one. Sort of has a '60s girl group vibe to it:
  9. I disagree. Because this is not merely a guy that is doing a bad job - which he is. This is a guy that has: Pledged support to a pedophile running for a Senate seat. Said he liked to grab women's p*****s. Said that the white supremacists in Charlottesville were "some good people". And I can go on. The point is, Obama did NOTHING to deserve the hatred he got, simply because he was *gasp* a black man elected POTUS. Trump mocks the disabled. He demeans women. He is a racist POS. So the hatred HE inspires is more than well deserved. And it should not be normalized. His approval rating is a whopping 32%. Base be damned. To equate Trump and Obama is insulting so as to be laughable.
  10. I'm sure all of those US Olympians that trained so hard to go to the games will be thrilled if they're not allowed to compete. This administration really knows how to make friends everywhere.
  11. And as if anyone with half a brain did not know, Paul Ryan is now being explicit in terms of gutting Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare to pay for this POS tax bill!
  12. I wish I still believed...
  13. Oval Office pig defends Wannabe Senator from Alabama pig. Of course. Pervs gotta stick together. I say this sincerely. Trump's defense must hurt many of Moore's victims further since they VOTED for his disgusting self. Gross.
  14. If Franken did what he is accused of, he's no better than all of the other dirtball predators. But the Trump Cult can GTFO with their hypocrisy. Especially when many of these same people defend not only the likes of Trump, but Roy Moore, too.
  15. I think General Kelly was who GMac meant.
  16. Wow. This is a great article. And good for this man for using his exposure to try and push change.
  17. What the ever-loving F.U.C.K.? (Sorry for the language, but this pisses me off!) Is this what this has been reduced to? Defending these sick SOBs because King Pervert sits in the White House and, thus, horrible behavior is now deemed acceptable? This should NEVER be normalized. EVER.
  18. Amen.
  19. I think the (very depressing and disheartening) question now to ask is which actors ARE NOT complete pigs? They seem to be a dying breed based on all of these accusations.
  20. The GOP is the party of NO. They can obstruct Democrats each and every time, but they cannot actually govern themselves for shyt.
  21. I doubt Julianne Moore's example would change Wright's POV. Maybe it had to do with the show extending her contract when she took a hiatus to film The Princess Bride or maybe she just connects it to her failed relationship with Dane Witherspoon. But whatever the reason, her attitude seems pretty ingrained by now. It is what it is.

  23. Do yourself a favor - block that poster. (I know who it is based on your response. I did ages ago. Makes things better.) If you don't know how, let me know.
  24. Just because it bears repeating, DO SOMETHING!!! Hee. Not desperate or anything.
