I think that was the point, though. The show was clearly invested in CC/Sophia as the rootable pairing. Lionel would have muddied the waters. And considering the history there, perhaps the writers thought that option would be insurmountable for CC/Sophia to overcome.

Characters: The Aborted & The Wasted
As was said, I'm sure Elisabeth Rohm is a lovely woman, but when even the Law & Order fandom refers to you as Rohmbot, you know you're not exactly popular. (The way the character was disposed of, however, was just head scratchingly WTF! But her replacement, fellow soap vet, Annie Parisse, had it even worse.) I was stunned to read somewhere - forget where - that Rohm was David Boreanaz's first choice for Temperance Brennan on Bones. Then, of course, Emily Deschanel got the role, she and DB got on well, and the show was a hit. So...

We literally had lunatic extraordinaire, MTG, complaining about Pelosi and the "gazpacho" (instead of Gestapo) police. Yes, this is real life. We are DOOMED if such criminal idiots keep infecting the Senate.

Here is the same clip as above but with the original music. Lesser quality, but the replacement generic music drives me nuts!

Instant karma's gonna get you, knock you right in the head, better get yourself together, darlin', pretty soon you're gonna be dead. Huh. Who knew John Lennon was a visionary? Buh bye. So much for owning the libs, huh?

Joe Biden has ZERO phucks left to give, and I am HERE for it, baby. He literally called Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a bitch". Is it undignified? Perhaps. But the right has dished this out. Time to take some:

Best and Worst Daytime Wigs
Yeah, but in her case, wasn't she fighting terminal cancer at that point? So, while some seem unflattering, the wig wearing at least served a real purpose there.

SOD
Isn't Lamon Archey (Eli, Days) also on a prime time show? I know he was dropped to recurring because of scheduling. Maybe #2 is him?

F-u-c-k the GOP, Manchin, and Sinema. That is all.

DAYS: Makeup room photo chart reveals contract cast for some point in 2022
Count me among those who think this is crap. Craig ADORED Nancy, weight or no weight. I am all for representation, so bring back Will/Sonny to the main show and build upon that. But to pull this just seems like Ron with another shiny toy, and Craig - and Nancy - will be destroyed in another wave of shallow campy bullshyt. Ron just cannot help himself.

Soap Actors Famous Relatives
Pluto TV used to run old episodes of Silk Stalkings, which Nancy Valens had guest-starred on a few times. The woman has barely aged in almost 30 freaking years!

And it will go nowhere because of Manchin and Sinema. They need to just bite the bullet and change to GOP. Yes, we'd lose the majority, but as it stands, nothing will ever get done as things currently stand, anyway.

Apparently, the new Quinnipiac poll has Biden's approval at 33% - and just 25% for Independents. Wow. If there is an upside, it seems more on the right do NOT want Trump to run again than those that do. It is being said this is an outlier. But this is concerning.

It would have had to leave in the first place before any comeback.- The Politics Thread
Newt "I started the road to authoritarianism in Congress!" Gingrich was whining about Biden being divisive, too. Pot, meet freakin' kettle. On another note, Adam Kinzinger did not attend today's remembrance because his wife is due to give birth any minute. I was sort of shocked to only see the Cheneys and not him there in terms of GOP officials. At least Kinzinger had a valid excuse.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
Yep. Except she is credited with the more conventional spelling of "Katie" McClain.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
