  1. And it will go nowhere because of Manchin and Sinema. They need to just bite the bullet and change to GOP. Yes, we'd lose the majority, but as it stands, nothing will ever get done as things currently stand, anyway.
  2. The actress playing Jane is/was also named Jane, Jane Sibbett, who went on to play Carol Willick #2 (as Anita Barone played her when Carol announced her pregnancy!), Ross Geller's ex-wife, on Friends!
  3. Apparently, the new Quinnipiac poll has Biden's approval at 33% - and just 25% for Independents. Wow. If there is an upside, it seems more on the right do NOT want Trump to run again than those that do. It is being said this is an outlier. But this is concerning.
  4. Wow. This one's a shocker. May he RIP! Let's skip to 2023. What do you say?!
  5. It would have had to leave in the first place before any comeback.
  6. Newt "I started the road to authoritarianism in Congress!" Gingrich was whining about Biden being divisive, too. Pot, meet freakin' kettle. On another note, Adam Kinzinger did not attend today's remembrance because his wife is due to give birth any minute. I was sort of shocked to only see the Cheneys and not him there in terms of GOP officials. At least Kinzinger had a valid excuse.
  7. Yep. Except she is credited with the more conventional spelling of "Katie" McClain.
  8. Found this in the In Memoriam thread:
  9. Still makes me bawl like a baby. I loved John/Isabella.
  10. Scott Jaeck (Cain) actually went on to a recurring role on ER from its beginning in 1994 until 2002 as Dr. Flint. One memorable scene of his was when he caught then-medical student John Carter (Noah Wyle) getting some action with a former patient played by Liz Vassey (ex-Emily Ann Sago, All My Children), complete with a little medical humor as he told Carter: "S1, S2, S3, S4, keep your pelvis off the floor!" Here is a picture of him in the role. He was virtually unrecognizable versus his Cain role on Santa Barbara:
  11. So, it's like a unicorn search.
  12. Nice of Ron to wreck Christmas with the lame MarDevil crap.
  13. But it made zero sense where CC is concerned. Jed probably did love interacting with the baby (and he seemed to interact with Erin Moore's Samantha in the show's final years when Mason, Julia, and Samantha were living at the Capwell mansion!), but considering the baby was a reminder of what Tori did against his beloved Eden, while he shouldn't hate the baby [as poor Chip was innocent], I think he'd be more constrained/reserved. Especially since he did play it as such with Julia/Samantha in the beginning, and Samantha was his granddaughter, too.
  14. And then there were five. Now five women have accused Chris Noth of sexual abuse. https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/chris-noth-sexual-assault-allegations-gloria-allred-sex-and-the-city-beverly-johnson-1235142754/
  15. My only objection to the tweet above: Maxine Waters tells MSNBC to show what is in BBB. DEMOCRATS need to learn how to perfect messaging themselves. Have the DNC run some damned ads detailing what BBB would do.
  16. And, after hardships with Major, a heart-wrenching but understandable decision has come: As for the cat:
  17. Joe Manchin should just switch parties already. Yes, we'd be stuck with Turtle again, but at least we would be held hostage by the devil we know instead of having "I got my yacht, screw you!" Lucy Van Pelt football holder Manchin. I think I hate Manchin as much as Turtle right now. And Chuck Schumer is WORTHLESS as Senate Majority Leader. Say what you will about Turtle, and I have, but HE knew how to whip his party into line for his evil ideas. Chuck is WEAK.
  18. So now Ron wants to ruin Christmas. Great.
  19. Stanford Blatch's Last Bow: The cast remembers Willie Garson. I loved the pairing of Miranda and Steve. Make no mistake: I'm ALL for LGBTQ+ representation and would have been fine with the main characters exploring such had it made sense. Miranda's turn doesn't. If you recall on the original show, she once explored that [think her job was connected somehow, my memory is hazy there], kissed a woman and felt nothing. There was nothing to suggest Miranda had any doubts about her preference/life, etc. So Michael Patrick King claiming Miranda only married Steve because she was pregnant (and no; they exchanged ILYs at Brady's first birthday party in "One" and Miranda proposed to Steve later in S6 in "The Ick Factor") and feels trapped is just a load of crap. I can't support such a change based on laziness and a lie. And I also don't get why Miranda has to be a lesbian/bi just because the actress playing her is. Isn't that why it's called acting? (Steve calling Miranda to tell her about the blue moon will always be a favorite scene of mine.) Hence why I am peacing out on this disaster.
  20. Sorry, but that is my favorite spinoff, so one person's trash is another's treasure!
  21. The Chris Noth news is disgusting and disappointing. Always liked him as Det. Mike Logan on Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. I remembered something happening with Beverly Johnson, so...yeah. That said, why wouldn't these women come forward when his casting announcement for The Equalizer was announced? Why did it take the SATC reboot and Big to do it?
