  1. That's the trouble, though. They won't shut up. Perpetual "persecution"/victim complex. Normally, I still don't give a schitt, but when their "freedumb" [not a misspelling!] endangers the lives of others? Fück 'em. Fire 'em all. Then let's see how they pay the bills.
  2. Who is Coloma? ETA: Answered my own question via Google, Marcus Coloma, a.k.a. NuNuNikolas. Meh. Recast AGAIN or kill Nik for good if this dude won't get vaccinated. Maybe Ingo can become a correspondent for OAN or Newsmax. Surprised he would stay in Hawaii since it seems very "blue" and high in vaccinations. And Chad Duell is easily replaceable, too.
  3. Like I said, I always liked Vincent D'Onofrio. (Loved his Bobby Goren!) This just makes me like and respect him even more.
  4. Maybe Ingo can make a show with Scott Baio, James Woods, and Rob Schneider. Oh, right. The other three haven't been relevant in eons. Well, he can buddy up with Eric Clapton then.
  5. Always did like Vincent D'Onofrio (and his Bobby Goren on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, of which Warren Leight was EP!). This just makes me respect him even more. Pretty much this. And it's no accident. Contracts, by and large, are actually usually meant to favor the employer.
  6. Welcome to the latest edition of Soledad O'Brien: Truth Bombs to complicit poor journalism:
  7. I loved her as Brick Pollitt's mother (and wife to Burl Ives' Big Daddy) in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. (Although it was the first movie I saw with Burl Ives. The only other exposure I had had to him up to that point was as the voice of Sam the Snowman in Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, so even knowing the film was a drama (and much different from the play - I just look at the movie as a different entity and love it, anyway!), I was half waiting for Mr. Ives to break out a ukulele and start singing, "Silver and Gold". LOL!)
  8. To think I wanted Jaxis so badly and liked Jax/Ingo. Seems I supported the wrong Jacks brother. UGH! (Sebastian Roché seems very left leaning.)
  9. As I have said before, I know this show was the Dobsons' "baby", and they were denied access for years, but wrong or right, time marched on, writers evolved the characters, so inexplicably taking them backwards because the Dobsons seemed to want to forget everything that happened in their absence did the show and the characters absolutely no favors.
  10. That really is a shame. Yeah, the lips are different, for sure. But her eyes seem a bit "off" to me, too. I know acting is a TOUGH business for women, but I hate to see them butcher themselves.
  11. As one that has not watched GH regulalry - or at all - since Scrubs left, what the hell did Kelly Monaco do to her face?! It's not just simple age; she looks different.
  12. Never even was aware that Don Rickles show existed. Huh! Louise Sorel was also once married to actor Herb Edelman. He occasionally played a detective on Murder, She Wrote but will forever be known to millions as Stan Sbornak, feckless ex-husband to Dorothy Sbornak, on The Golden Girls!
  13. Don't get me started. I think LD/NLG STILL had great chemistry as Cameron and Alexis, but then the stupid fake DD crap and "Dobson" (UGH!) ruined everything. I never read about Lane Davies saying that, but if he did, awesome! I do know GT raved about SB and Mason in many an interview.
  14. Linda Dano, God love her, managed to pull this off, but what an UGLY outfit.
  15. And it still won't mean jack schitt to the average American, Carl. This is the usual kabuki theater. It's what self-important politicians do.
  16. Bad things happen in politics, then the news cycle finds a new shiny object, and on to the next. Look, I realize the right has perfected immoral outrage and lies du jour, but if we highlight every misadventure, every burp, we'll all end up in the mental ward. All we can do, realistically, is vote as if the country's life depends upon it. It does. And we just ride this out until the next Big Thing. Because there will be plenty more.
  17. Politico, the right-wing shill? Shocker.
  18. On the one hand, if this is true? He needs to face justice. But some have been posting tour articles on Twitter from 1965 around the alleged time, and it APPEARS he wasn't where this allegedly happened. But, if proven, there goes his legacy.
  19. This sounds cold, and I don't mean it to be, but sometimes, reality is cold. Afghanistan's current plight was going to be its fate regardless of how long the US has been there. But in TWENTY YEARS of training forces, the fact that these same people just cut and run - leaving the weapons given by the US! - rather than attempt to defend their nation tells me that our training was in vain, as were all the deaths of US troops in the last two decades. It is the new Vietnam. As such, the American people there and allies need to leave and let what happens, happen. Because it's increasingly clear this was unavoidable. And this will always be Dubya's legacy.
  20. THANK GOD FOR THAT! (Sorry. But I HATED that Cassie basically skated in sabotaging Mason/Julia, and was never discovered.) So the fact that Mason basically toyed with her, I just consider well-deserved karma. And I also hated that Warren/Lionel were undone as father and son just to service Cassie's psycho assss. She got everything she deserved.
  21. Which is why such intense focus, even if they were popular, was a bad idea in the long run. The show should have branched out sooner if they wanted to survive.
  22. Hee. That's pretty cool!
  23. Not much of them out there, but here's a clip of Kelly and Connor:
  24. I recall that (now-defunct) Soap Opera Weekly had fans write in how they'd end the show, and one fan said Connor would come face to face with all of Kelly's past loves (viewer obviously had a sense of humor!) and Connor would still decide to take his chances, so it seems like at least some of the audience did respond positively to the pairing. Like I said, I preferred CG as Kelly, but Connor/ED's Kelly really did have potential. A shame the show ended before it could be totally realized.
  25. I think I have made my dissatisfaction with Kelly's recasting with Eileen Davidson very clear. However, in the last year or so, ED's Kelly and Charles Grant's (a.k.a. Evan Bates [Frame], Another World) FBI character (originally brought on in connection to Cruz, investigating...something!), Connor McCabe, did have potential. Of course, the fact that Connor was not Cruz and Cruz was no longer involved with ED's Kelly made it an improvement right there.
