  4. The answer is always gonna be Vincent Irizarry for me. ๐Ÿ˜‚ AMC from 1990-94 had a lot of great stuff happening, talented performers, and some wonderful moments/episodes but I have no interest in revisiting it, especially all of the Wildwind stuff that took over the show. Only compared to post-1996 AMC does it feel like a golden era. 1995 was awesome, though. Everything afterwards can kick rocks.
  5. I cannot stand Ashley. The only person sheโ€™s ever shown loyalty to is Monique, and thatโ€™s because M covered for Ashleyโ€™s sleazeball husband. She just seems completely amoral and out for herself. Sheโ€™s lucky sheโ€™s beautiful and charismatic.

  11. Last nightโ€™s Potomac reminded me slightly of the Puerto Rico ambush of LVP on BH.
  12. Thighs like what, what what.
  13. Oy, these shows just make such a mess of their timelines through SORAS and incompetence. You really have to turn your brain off and roll with it or tune out like so many have. I can only imagine how messy many primetime/streaming series would be if they ran for 50-60 years. At least soaps arenโ€™t rerun 24/7, with history thrown in viewersโ€™ faces all the time.
  14. Ooh child. The way I just gasped at Rezaโ€™s responseโ€ฆ
  15. Same. I also stand as far away from the tracks as possible (against a wall if there is one) and stay particularly vigilant when Iโ€™m on those tiny platforms that some stations have. I saw this on Reddit: โ€œthose little nooks along the wall are for workers to stand in when the train goes by. (Unless there is red and white striping, that means no clearance.) Press yourself in as tight as you can, with your hands pressed palm out against the sides. Shout for help, and hopefully someone will notify the station before the train comes through.โ€
  16. What to do if you fall (or are pushed) on the NYC subway tracks: https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-subway-tracks-fall-push-what-to-do-20210215-axjpl6zufnefbfetcdpdfu5erm-story.html
  17. Eventually, if nothing changes, all of these shows become toxic and overproduced. The balance tips further and further from the womenโ€™s lives and personality conflicts and swings towards co-workers jockeying for position through subterfuge and leaking stories to the press, with the juicy stuff happening off camera and behind the scenes. And the women become more and more bitter and self-protective as their fame (and the subsequent backlash) grows. It can be good fun to watch the implosion for a season or two, but itโ€™s not sustainable. I find it exhausting to watch.
  18. So gorgeous.
