I just find it… bizarre. Usually when couples fake a relationship, they “detest” each other but there’s an undercurrent of attraction that we watch build over time. We already know Spencer and Trina are desperately into each other. It just feels like spinning wheels at this point, hook plot or not. I find GH overwritten and underthought.

Such a bizarre way of telling their story after all this time.

A show this slow shouldn’t feel so superficial. Yet here we are. It’s the worst of both worlds: lightning-fast scenes on a micro level and meandering pacing on a macro level. Yeah WTF?

That would be awesome. And give Summer another opportunity to go in on Dame Giggly.

Aw, we knew it was coming, but still. A name that will resonate forever, especially in Brazil.

Y&R could easily phase out Sharon and Nikki (or drop both to recurring) with very little impact on story. I’m sure both command a pretty penny due to their veteran status.

I get mindless entertainment, but I just cannot suspend disbelief enough to enjoy B&B. Ironically, the show would work better for me if it were even stupider and had less talented, committed actors. Watching the likes of Matthew Atkinson and JMW sell this stuff on a regular basis feels so frustrating and demeaning creatively. Hopefully they are compensated well and have solid 401(k)s.
