  1. Sigh... another overly obvious chucking of a glass on the ground, done by Angie. No shocker there. Breaking a glass in a fit of rage is a move only Lisa Rinna has been able to deliver successfully.
  2. Very nice!! Thanks for all you do. Thanks for showing both!
  3. The young gentleman sure is furry.
  4. The NBC lineup certainly benefitted from these preemptions.
  5. I'd sooner believe the rewrite of Reva being tossed into the Caribbean Sea by Edmund Winslow and magically winding up in Amishland Goshen, Indiana before this.
  6. This gives me flashbacks to the MODELS, INC. cliffhanger ending... lol iykyk
  7. Dang... Belle, Shawn, Phillip, Chloe... the whole Last Blast crew gets blasted off. SMH.
  8. ... and exactly 10 years later, DAYS would again achieve a 6.9 (the week of Kristen's comeuppance) but this time it put them in 2nd place, inching very close to Y&R's 7.2.
  9. @JAS0N47 I'm curious to see how Nielsen's new usage of People Meters will affect the numbers, as I believe this went into effect in September of 1987. Do you know the issue/controversy around the change? I seem to recall in another thread that it benefitted ABC more so than the other networks.
  10. Side note: While Another World was never gangbusters in the Nielsens after the late 70's, you have to hand it to them for pulling themselves back into the 5's and staying there for a long time, even as the heavy hitters in the top half are losing steam.
  11. Somewhere online they promised it was coming later in 2024. Don't give up hope on the return of Herman Munster Shoes!
  12. Yeah, I'm with DaytimeFan. NuNYC is for the birds. Meanwhile, just think that on top of all the Housewives returning, plus Married to Medicine, we also get the NYC edition of RHUGT in December! Yippee!
  13. Ugh, I'm so glad I'm married.
  14. I noticed that, too. The same could be said for DAYS in the mid 90's when they suddenly became the No. 2 soap because others around them (GH, AMC, B&B, etc.) fell harder in the OJ era.
  15. I seem to recall that scene around the time that Princess Gina died in January of 2000 when they still thought she was Hope.
  16. Dang, B&B beat GL right out of the gate. GL slipped way down that week.
  17. That "outdoor" restaurant set for Deacon looks awful. Like, DAYS awful. B&B can usually do better. Is this supposed to be the same restaurant they used to actually film outside for (on the rooftop)?
  18. GH definitely uses a filter, I'd say in post-production. It looks ridiculous IMO.
  19. I remember Eileen Davidson explaining once that she got her base pay as Kristen, but then received additional pay (not necessarily double, but an additional amount) per extra character (Susan, then Mary Moira, then Thomas, then Penelope)
  20. I'm here for Married to Medicine now! Count me in! Can't wait! Side note: I swear, Bravo be doing some AI sh¡t with their new cast still shots. First with Beverly Hills, now you have the M2M women looking like other people.
  21. We all know DAYS is notorious for reusing old actors in new roles. But the frequency of the turnover has gotten ridiculous. When you're talking Renee Jones, Judi Evans, and even the mumbling owl known as Josh Taylor, you had a good ten years in between roles. Now you can't even get ten days. I don't watch GH, but haven't they gotten ridiculous too? With the former OLTL'ers? I haven't kept up.
  22. I definitely agree about Mia. In this current era of Housewives, most new castmembers don't really pop anymore. So even if they're mediocre, they get to stick around for multiple seasons (see: Potomac's Mia, and even Wendy, BH's Crystal, ATL's Sanya, etc.) Yes, I see y'all's point about Potomac being a tired rehash versus the other returning shows. They are familiar faces but they're starting to hit their expiration dates. However, Potomac's enduring strength is that most of the core women really have known each other for years, even before the show (and I'll include Charriisse's tired ass with them), so while some rotation is needed to keep the show fresh, then we get into the alternate option of having fake friends forced to hang out for a TV series. Catch 22. Also, much like Salt Lake City, new castmembers for Potomac have been lukewarm or duds, save for Candiace. I actually think SLC is in one of the worst shapes of all the Housewives shows because their cast is full of Basic Bettys.
  23. DAYS at a solid #3 but more so because all the others around them have dropped so drastically. This year really saw a steady decline for the top half. Another World has managed to buck the trend so far.
  24. One question remains: Will Theresa have an accent now? 😂
