  1. I hope so too. If they can flash back to Jensen Ackles as Eric, anything's possible now.
  2. I've met all the daytime divas that I'd like to meet (Deidre, Zimmer, Flannery, KKL, Jeanne Cooper, etc.) except for one.... La Lucci. Wouldn't faint, but I'd gush.
  3. I'm a few days late to the discussion, but I was always under the assumption that the Brady Pub was very close to the pier. So close that sometimes you would even hear that random bell chime outside the pub that you would also hear as background noise on the pier. Is the Brady Pub supposed to be on the same lot where the Fish Market was? Meanwhile, the Cheatin' Heart used to be in the sleazy part of town, but in the last 15 years of its constant turnover in restaurants (A coffee shop, Club TBD, Julie's newest restaurant that looks like a breakfast joint for seniors), the area seems to have been gentrified.
  4. I listened to the whole thing, and boy does it give my OG RHONY nostalgia of the first 4 years. One major takeaway which I'm inclined to believe is true due to both their reactions: Bravo did both of them dirty when it comes to filming outside of Bobby's funeral. Jill didn't know Bethenny was mic'ed, nor that the people filming outside were from Bravo (she thought it was TMZ, press etc. as TMZ was in fact there). Bethenny thought Jill knew beforehand. Jill didn't know about anything until she saw the commercial for that season of RHONY and saw a clip of her. She never signed a release form from Bravo and Bravo took their chances that she wouldn't sue. When they discussed this, you could tell Bethenny was taken aback when it clicked that Bravo set her up and felt it was disgusting to know she had "ambushed" (her word, fittingly) a funeral. I forgot all about that; who she was and what she did/said to get herself kicked off.
  5. It could be worse. Wasn't Dallas' premiere episode about plastic poop? Re: @DaytimeFan ATL... I agree the cast doesn't gel as they used to and the newbies aren't enough to usher in the next successful era. I could see Bravo seriously considering doing a total reboot of Atlanta, but at the same time I think they would hate to cut ties with Kandi and possibly Kenya.
  6. I always remember the pretty ones
  7. Catching up, just started July… I’m pretty darn sure the good looking gentleman on the left was partying it up with Paul and papa John at last year’s San Francisco pride party on Beyond Salem 2. The extras in theses scene were cracking me up. I now understand why Steve Burton always wore black T-shirts on GH — to conceal his pit sweat. A lil Botox will help with that; you can siphon some out from Galen Gering’s forehead.
  8. They're all beautiful but gotta give a lusty shoutout to Dyllon Burnside from Pose....
  9. Sometimes I wonder if Bethenny is ill. She can't pull off the super skinny older woman with dark brown long hair look that someone like La Lucci was able to do for decades (and even La Lucci cut it shorter as she got older). I dunno. She just looks off these days. Nu NYC: I watched. I liked it more than I thought I would. I'm willing to give it a try and continue watching. There are some standouts (Erin, Ubah, Jenna's home) while others are doing too much (Brynn... especially if you watched them on WWHL). I agree about the idea of Jenna being brought on with the previous cast. Her take on things reminds me of Carole... Erin is kind of a mix of Bethenny with the look of a prettier Leah without the nagging voice... The nagging voice belongs to Sai (especially grating during the WWHL show)... My hubby has already clocked Jessel as being unlikeable, lol... I like Ubah's personality. I liked the various landmarks shown of NYC and the various neighborhoods where everyone lives. I got the vibe Bravo is trying to make this like a reality TV version of a Sex and the City, where the city is like a member of the cast. They kind of lost their way with that aspect on the OG RHONY, especially as it followed the now-tired tropes of 5 different cast trips to other parts of the country/world throughout a season. I could see Eboni fitting in with this new cast. But perhaps it was best to make a clean break from anyone previously. Even though the title is the same, I consider this to be a different show than the RHONY we once knew. I'll continue watching, but as Nene Leakes recently pointed out, the Housewives shows don't produce stars anymore. I don't think we'll ever get a Bethenny 2.0, Nene 2.0, Vanderpump 2.0, Teresa 2.0, etc. of that type of magnitude. Casts of New Jersey and Atlanta better beware: you could get the reboot too.... Side note: I love that Jenna is gay and it's literally no big deal. It's not a story; it's not "a thing." That's how it should be.
  10. Just gonna throw this out there (but it's actually for the 1990's)... would you happen to have available the Saturday morning pre-teen/teen shows of Saved By the Bell, California Dreams etc. in the 90's? I'd be interested in seeing what kind of numbers those shows actually pulled in, especially considering they tried a short-lived primetime spinoff of SBTB ("The College Years") in 1993.
  11. ... and Bravo cameras were NOT rolling. Tsk, tsk, all this mess for nada, newbies.... Sigh, not a good look for this franchise...
  12. Ya know, most trees would grow bigger in 12 years. But the magical tree of Horton Town Square literally picked up its roots and found a cozy new spot and stays the same size. Only in Salem
  13. ... and look at those beautifully consistent bricks in the background! 😂😂😂 Nowadays, their cramped little park set has a hodge podge of mismatched brick walls slapped together. "Peacock Money..." At this point, I expect Trump's wall to be erected with Mexico footing the bill before we see Salem return to something that wasn't constructed from sticky clearance bin items at the Dollar Tree.
  14. Thanks for the heads up!! Watching now....
  15. Agreed on all. I enjoyed Gina Tognoni alot.... However, to me, Dinah Marler will *always* be this hot bitch:
  16. Thanks for posting the image, that is EXACTLY what I thought about; them walking hand in hand in HTS back in '12 or early '13. I didn't like Krista originally, but she's kicking ass as NuTaylor on B&B. Julie Pinson? Meh.... totally forgettable. Now that Bo/Hope are mostly gone, Billie can break from their orbit and be involved with someone else. Whenever Rinna was in the role, they pushed Billie back to that.
  17. I'd be down for Gina Tognoni as Billie. Considering how good Lauren Koslow looks, I don't mind the de-aging. Rinna and Koslow look like sisters (with Koslow being the less weathered sis)
  18. I definitely think Philip is needed, if for nothing else, to tie up that open-ended way they left him "missing" / "dead" but secretly stashed in a psychiatric care facility that only a handful of people know about. That said, I would certainly prefer Jay Kenneth Johnson back in the role although his last stint wasn't so great (I blame a lot of it on the writing). Depending on how long his stay is, and considering Carlivati at the helm... I could totally see him dragging Farah Fath back as Mimi to rekindle OLTL's Rex & Gigi, 2.0.
  19. Yeah. I think of that and I think of the fact that all these newbies try to come in to recreate what Kenya and Porsha were able to do in their premiere season of RHOA (also S5). Let's see what new nicknames Candiace comes up with.... lol
  20. RHOC: Heather came off looking pretty dumb on last night's show. I wasn't buying the fake jealousy of Tamra & Shannon's newfound closeness and Bravo using flashbacks of the Montana trip to show tiny moments of Heather "not included." So feeling iced out was her personal low point of the trip. Nice try, but yawn. Meanwhile, she still seems dismissive of Taylor and insensitive to Gina. Granted, Gina's constant trigger meltdowns due to Jenn's infidelity is over the top. Like, take it down a notch, even if you're being serious. Fun show otherwise. This is definitely an upswing year. I'm glad they didn't try to fake us and say they slept outside all night. I sure as fukk wouldn't have either.
  21. I'm a couple weeks behind, but I would rather see Shawn-D going on a drinking bender due to guilt and depression, but not eventually labeled "an alcoholic" per se. Go the depression route and have him seek therapy from someone who isn't named Marlena (conflict of interest, hello!) There's too many members of AA on the canvas. One even killed a man (Hi Eric!) yet it doesn't resonate. I hate it when they make major decisions that would ordinarily have long-lasting, permanent effects. Such as Philip having only 1 leg. Or the fact that Daniel once massaged Jennifer's heart to keep it beating when her heart was yanked out of her. Just stupid stuff that sounds cute and dramatic at the time, but they don't do the follow through.
  22. Oy, it's been a whirlwind in life the past few weeks, but I'm all caught up here! A few random thoughts... CRAPPIE LAKE: It's cute, fun, lighthearted, and I'm so glad there's no mean spiritedness at looking down at the common folks of middle America. Especially after being so tone deaf in the last year of RHONY, they wisely made this show an innocent fish out of water experience. Luann and Sonja are a hoot, and it gives us old-school RHONY that we've been missing. OC: Yes, Taylor should definitely be a full-time Orange holder. She is giving us everything and makes it look effortless. I love her back in the thick of things. Meanwhile, Tamra is all over the place with her mess and I am here for it. I side eye Heather and Tamra being cool with one another when we know otherwise, but hopefully that'll play out as the season progresses and/or the reunion comes. When I look at Tamra, Heather, and Shannon, I think of the infamous gif of the 3 Spidermans... One thing they need to put a pin in (© Shannon Beador, who uses the phrase incorrectly) is Jennifer's marriage/separation/divorce, etc. They're going too hard too soon on her. Talk about an ambush (© Jill Zarin). I do like what she's bringing to the show so far. If the Tamra/Jennifer friendship is going to fall apart, Tamra should've held off on attacking her until after Jen had built some foundation of friendships with the other women of the cast, otherwise it'll end up looking awkward with her sticking around, similar to Mia's friend on Potomac. But otherwise, I think there's roots for the new girl, more so than the last couple one-and-done one season wonders. RHOBH: To use another infamous gif... I was NOT expecting this holiday surprise of the Umansky marriage imploding and another woman being involved.... with Kyle! I'm glad to hear the cameras are back up and filming Kyle's debacle. Real life drama is so much better than manufactured garbage. Rinna who? No need to bring the "savior" back. Maybe she go can tango with Peter Porte on DAYS again. For scale. RHONJ: So the ENTIRE cast is returning? I... can't... There is SO much genuine hatred and manipulative backstabbing behind the scenes, not just between Teresa and Melissa, but nearly EVERYONE else (Margaret, Jennifer etc.). I don't know how they're going to make this next season work. New RHONY: The graphics are cute for the opening. That's about all I got. I'm not really impressed or intrigued with the promos I've seen of the new cast, but I'll hate-watch the premiere and see if they catch on. ATLANTA: The reunion of all the OG's (notable no-show: Nene) was... cute. But kinda pointless. They initially said they get together from time to time regularly because of their "sisterhood" or whatnot, yet we hear them catching up on their lives as if they haven't heard from each other in years (because that's the truth). I didn't know (or maybe I did, but didn't care) DeShawn and her hubby divorced. I knew about Lisa and her fine-ass ex Ed Hartwell splitting years ago (he's on my list of all-time hottest House Hubbys, but I digress...) Kim & Kroy can make up and break up all they want, as long as it's off-camera. Nothing about this sounds genuine.
  23. *Postponed, not cancelled. Wishing her the very best for a speedy recovery.
  24. I'd welcome Monique back in a heartbeat, if it's good for her. On her side, she'll have The Grande Dame, Ashley, and even Wendy who has seen the light about Gizzard/Juan's Roommate.
  25. It all depends on WHO is being let go. Or who they decide not to use (isn't like half the cast on recurring?). There are SO many characters on this show. I'm catching up on the last couple weeks and I forgot Li still existed. Meanwhile, Bonnie & Justin are suddenly back (oh yeah, they still exist) and Bonnie no longer knows how to lie after spending decades lying through her teeth without breaking a sweat. There's a lot of dead weight and/or characters that need a good rest. If they sliced the cast by a half, perhaps they could start taping scenes in such a way where stories aren't told in blocks and chunks where stories are featured heavily for 3 weeks and then completely dropped for 3 weeks. I dunno. Start with narrowing the focus to a smaller ensemble. But yeah, they'd probably turn the show into the Gwen & Leo Comedy Hour. Sorry to be nitpicky, but Sloane's apartment is a revamp of Eli/Lani's former abode.
