I loved your dad so much.’ I could not ask for a better first scene partner on Days. He took me under his wing and taught me the ropes.”

Bill raped Laura on DAYS, so *NO* for a ship name for them. Doesn't matter to me that it was written as them falling in love later on and having children. I still would not have shipped them, nor given their relationship a name.

@dragonflies thanks for the info on the scream from the promo. So that's three scenes from the same B&B storyline in the combined BTG/B&B/Y&R promo B&B: Will Spencer and Remy fighting (re: Electra) from Jan. 2, 2025. B&B: Electra screaming -- that's from when she sees the the wall in Remy's apartment full of deepfake photos that Remy made of her - from the end of the Dec. 26, 2024 episode. B&B: Electra running down the street after she escapes from Remy, from Dec. 31, 2024. I haven't watched or read much on the Remy/Electra/Will storyline. Was it any good? Is this something B&B should feel worth promoting? Is the Will/Remy romance popular? I'm not snarking here, I just honestly don't know because I wasn't following it.

Agree. I looked up some of the Y&R and B&B scenes in that combined promo with BTG. WHY would they use mostly bad scenes from the past year? Nothing that interesting. I mean Hope/Carter is sort of interesting. But Billy/Sally? Nope. Kyle/Claire? Dull. Steffy in Luna's cage was a terrible storyline. And Diane's excitement about yet another business line - really? I guess they picked the Ridge/Taylor clip to maybe attract AMC Zach/Greenlee fans? Because otherwise, why pick that scene? Edit, it's from Dec. 23, 2024 when Ridge is about to romance Taylor in the bedroom, and they hold up drinks .... but the rest of the scene is that he spills a drink on Taylor's shirt, and they stop, and Taylor changes into an extra shirt of Ridge's; at which point Brooke arrives and makes assumptions. It's like the staff of Y&R and B&B just randomly grabbed some stuff to include, without having any idea if it's compelling.

BTG had a screening today (Feb. 13, 2025) in Washington DC at "DC Gathers" The Gathering Spot https://thegatheringspot.club/dc-gathers/ WABJDC (Wash. DC Assoc. Black Journalists) In the IG stories, I think the host Ashley Britney Silva announced that the attendees would be getting gift bags, and inside each bag is a key, and the keys unlock the Gates!

Pentagon schools suspend library books for ‘compliance review’ under Trump orders. Defense Department sends memo that it’s reviewing for books ‘related to gender … or discriminatory equity ideology topics’ https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/feb/13/pentagon-schools-closed-libraries-trump The purge of library books will affect up to 67,000 children being taught in Pentagon schools worldwide. The Guardian understands that all 160 schools, located in seven US states and 11 countries, are subject to the censorship. The Guardian has obtained a list of books that have been caught up in the blanket evaluation. They include "No Truth Without Ruth", a picture book for four-to-eight-year-olds about the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the second woman to sit on the US supreme court. The book, by the award-winning writer Kathleen Krull, describes the sexist discrimination Ginsburg had to overcome in her rise to becoming a supreme court justice. Other titles that have been caught up in the review include a book by the American Oscar-winning actor Julianne Moore. "Freckleface Strawberry", also for four-to-eight year olds, features a young girl coming to terms with her freckles. In a statement, the Department of Defense education activity confirmed that it was carrying out a review of library books as part of an examination of all “instructional resources”. The purpose was to ensure that Pentagon schools were aligned to Trump’s recent executive orders, Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling. The US military news outlet, Stars and Stripes, has reported that school groups such as the Pride club and Women in Stem have also been shuttered under the review. A DoD elementary school in Wiesbaden, Germany, took down a portrait of Michelle Obama, the former First Lady, as part of its cancellation of Black History Month.
