BTG: April 2025 Discussion Thread
I thought that was intentional -- because they cut from Vanessa/Joey to Doug/Andre -- Andre asking Doug about his injury, while Doug was thinking about Joey's threats. They showed Vanessa and Doug never in the same scene as each other throughout the episode, and indicating perhaps that Vanessa and Joey were thinking about sex with each other... and then near the end of the episode Doug noticing through the restaurant window that Joey/Vanessa were sitting together. And then suddenly, at the end, the surprise to the viewers of Vanessa/Doug having sex. I acknowledge that some editing in this series is choppy. But I wasn't bothered by the transition from Vanessa/Joey to Doug/Andre.

BTG: April 2025 Discussion Thread
One of the things I've seen on primetime and in films, is that there's some sort of conventional idea that has a cop character and a firefighter character being buddies. I don't know if that's a common thing in real life or not, but I've seen it on TV and film. Just *speculating* that this might be why they wrote Jacob and Derek to be friends? We haven't actually seen that friendship shown as anything more than acquaintances that hang out with their wife & girlfriend as a group of four for drinks. But we haven't actually seen close friendship stuff.

You are right. I stand corrected. I should have checked on the facts before posting. Edit to add: I sincerely appreciate your correction.

BTG: April 2025 Discussion Thread
Last year they said BTG would debut "at the start of the year" But it was vaguely-worded, so some of us at first assumed January. But perhaps it could have been interpreted as anytime in the first few months of 2025. I do think they delayed it by a few weeks from their original expected launch date (but that's just me guessing, I don't actually know anything). That Sheila Ducksworth instagram in which she said "after the holidays we..." she was saying that, in January (after the Christmas break in filming), they tweaked the dialogue of an April episode to time it with Easter. That indicates to me that they were tweaking it to fit with the new airdates. That doesn't indicate "sloppy" to me. That indicates being on top of things and paying attention to details.

DAYS: April 2025 Discussion Thread
Not arguing. I don't think anyone is right or wrong here. No intention to sound accusatory to anyone. I agree that none of this is a problem. Just clarifying. At this point, it doesn't matter anymore anyhow. I mean Ron scrambled so much DAYS history. That's more important than the scrambled reporting in the soap press about his exit date.

DAYS: April 2025 Discussion Thread
Donna, that's exactly what I said in my post -- I said that it was announced January 1st the correct date, published interview. Stephanie Sloane quoting Janet Drucker about the writing change date. Everyone has known the correct date for 3 1/2 months. Public information. The confusion happened because: very recently, Stephanie Sloane announced a different date, via her Cwikly/Ford interview -- which was one day off. This same interview was in both the TVGuide print magazine issue of mid-April and also on tvinsider.com website article of April 21st. But soaps.sheknows had a Cwikly/Ford interview of April 21st which maintained the original date. Which is why Jason47 investigated and learned that the original date was correct. I do realize that some SON members don't read the spoiler threads, so they may have missed both interviews (Jan 1st, and mid-April). Both interviews contained spoilers, so they were on spoiler threads. So, in that context, I guess my statement "everyone has known" is inaccurate. Anyhow, regardless of the correct date, or who said what when, Ron is finally gone.

It was announced Jan. 1st via Stephanie Slone (tvinsider) with Janet Drucker that the Cwikly/Ford episodes would begin airing April 24, which would have made April 23 Ron's last episode. That is why Jason47 contacted the Days publicist to clarify.

Wendy, we posted at the same time, LOL. It's interesting to see how the Hortons of a single generation are in very different agegroups.

Y&R: April 2025 Spoilers
Usually I skim episodes and read recaps, and then watch in fullness when it's a storyline that interests me. To be honest, I've been so annoyed with Billy the past couple of years, that I hadn't watched much of his scenes. Posting these pics cause me me to really look at Billy's place for the first time. I didn't even know he had a set. It's actually quite nice. Lots of details.
