Today was such an improvement over the rest of the week. You can tell a lot of effort was put into todays episode. And the cliffhanger was amazing. Ron and co. can definitely put as much effort into a lot of other episodes, but clearly they choose not to. I’ll never understand why. I’m so glad that we got follow up with Tripp, though I wish the scene with Johnny and Wendy would have continued. But I enjoyed his scenes with Stephanie. I liked her encouraging him to see what could happen with Wendy and they have really good sibling chemistry. And no Tripp, you making a move on Wendy is nothing like what Alex did to Stephanie. You are a better man than he’ll ever be 😊😊 Speaking of Alex, he was quite dumb today. Dumber than usual. But at the same time, I was interested by what he tried to do. Yeah I didn’t see it coming. And yeah, despite Maggie being written out of character, I’m still on her team and I always will be. I also enjoyed the Shawn/Andrew/Megan scenes. Hopefully, Shawn picks something up from the gaffe that she made. And it was good to see cousins Shawn and Andrew interact. Welcome back to Salem, Andrew! 😊 As for Greece, Hope and Harris have chemistry. It was obvious today. I might even feel bad for him when Hope goes back to Bo 😂😂 And he looked really good too. It was nice to see him in something other than a black t-shirt. His shirt looked like something I would wear. Today made me really excited for next week, even though some spoilers have me shaking my head already 😂😂

Today wasn't as cringey as yesterday. The cliffhangers were really good, though I'm beyond tired of the Willow's cancer storyline and one of the cliffhangers is only gonna prolong it. I always enjoy Chase's singing. But was I supposed to know who that Danielle lady was? 😂😂 And I definitely could have done without all that Trina moaning about Spencer's privilege and entitlement bull**it, especially considering that her best friend is one of the most privileged and entitled people (and biggest, unfeeling whore) in Port Charles.

Tbf, not as inadequate as some actors and characters that Ron pretty much gave the world too 😂😂

Maybe, but he had to have known that Ali’s return was only temporary. And yet Martha is one of his biggest defenders. Maybe she’s brainwashed 😂😂😂 I’m coming up with so many story opportunities as to how this all could have played out right now 😂😂

My guess is that it was never intended and Ron was just satisfying the Twitter crowd that was calling for it. But the way it was just cut off was ridiculous. That storyline should still be playing out now. And they could have weaved Nicole/Eric/Jada/Sloan, etc. into it as well. It could have been so good.

I kinda wonder how much it costs to have animals on set. 😂😂 Ehhh… still not as bad as that circus tent that they put Emme Rylan in when she was pregnant 😂😂

And now Shawn and Belle have relegated to nothing but talk-tos. 🤦‍♂️

Idk why but I kind of felt bad for Li today. I hope he finds a way to get back at Gabi and Stefan. Nicole looked really good in that dress too 😂😂 Tripp/Wendy/Johnny was the best part of today. Tripp was really sweet. A lot of men in Salem could take pointers from him. It sucks that there isn’t going to be any follow up with them tomorrow. We should really be seeing Johnny’s reaction to Wendy going out with Tripp, as opposed to just hearing about it, sometime next week. This really ties into the bad pacing discussion that been going on in this thread.

Honestly, the entire episode was pure cringe. Finn with the earbuds, all the women wearing the same style, the random llama and just Linc, Austin and Valentin (the worst Cassadine of them all, ladies and gentlemen 😂😂😂) in general. And it wasn’t even like they were trying to be funny and screwing up, like RC with Days. I just don’t get it. And yeah Joss still can’t sing. Even when I liked her, I didn’t think she could sing. Someone needs to tell Frank just because she’s his Starr doesn’t mean she’s also his Kristen Alderson (who wasn’t the best singer in the world either, but was still better than EM)

Haha we all knew there were a lot of reasons why when Talia referred to a hunky cop, Jada immediately thought of Shawn 😂😂 I don’t get why they don’t use Brandon Beemer more effectively.

I liked the Tripp/Wendy storyline today. The rest was crap. Why has the worst writer on the team been given more breakdowns to write and more responsibility?? 🤮🤮 Seriously, it’s like somebody BTS is blackmailing somebody.

Idk. They’ll probably blame it on the budget or availability or whatever, but it’s pretty obvious at this point that a lot of these bad decisions are choices.

I don’t have a problem with the Beyond Salem storyline or the pacing of it. There’s been much worse on Days in the last two years. I don’t get why so many people on Twitter are complaining about the pacing. It’s a soap. It’s supposed to be slow moving. I read those tweets and say to myself, “These people never would have made it in the 90s”, where it took John and Marlena four years to get back together and then another two to get married 😂😂

Y’all know Charlotte’s gonna be Frank’s next Starr. And they’ll probably pair her with Wyatt, the OLTL friend 😂😂

I wish they would do something like that. That would be a good way to use Marlena, instead of her just being kidnapped or held hostage 😂 Or maybe even have Brady give Rachel a beating and it forces him to fall off the wagon

Today had to have been a Jamey episode. There were tons of cringey, campy bitchfights and everything was written like a big joke. I don’t know how Ron doesn’t see what a lousy writer Jamey is and fire him. I know asskissing feels good but come on. Chloe was so out of character today. There has to be a better way for them to push Chloe and Xander together then this. And yeah, Rachel still needs a beating. A smart beat to play would be for Brady not to be upset at Chloe, but feel like he’s failing as a parent, which he is. As for Paulina/Sloan, not to get political or anything, but I find it kind of funny that on the day a certain rich douche who thought he was above the law faces charges for his crimes, on Days we have to support another rich douche that clearly thought she was above the law, just sayin… Today’s mistakes were definitely choices
