I guess, but I still think the show needs a good villain, and especially a villain that doesn’t just pop in every few months to be annoying, like Clyde. And EJ seems to be in the best position for that at the moment. I actually wouldn’t even mind Days going all out and turning Eric and EJ into the new Roman and Stefano. Yep. Most of Salem is related to people on both sides of their family 😂😂

Ok, why is this old douche harassing two teenagers? Seriously, Leo’s got no business being involved in Tate and Holly’s storyline. I did like the Johnny/Chanel scenes, even though I still wish the whole pregnancy storyline was given to other characters. Chanel’s animosity towards Paulina would be more interesting if Johnny was on Paulina’s side, which would put him at odds with Chanel. Hopefully, the job offer Johnny got today and the fact that he kept it a secret from Chanel will lead to something interesting. As for Eric/Nicole/EJ, they were pretty good today but I think they’re missing an opportunity to not make EJ the full on villain. Maybe instead of going to Sloan and telling her that he’s taking the baby, he should have called up his hitwoman and ordered her to kill Eric. Or paid one of the homeless guys that Eric and Nicole are working with to do it. That would have really raised the stakes in this storyline

It looked like the storyline was gonna go in that direction, not just with Holly but with Brady and Theresa as well. But now with the recast, and the writer change, who knows?

Well, considering the way teens were when I was one, I prefer that Tate/Holly and co. be so corny and cliche. 😂😂 But I definitely wouldn't have Tate come off like the big hero that he's been coming off as recently. If it were me, I'd have him be just as messy as Holly.

For me, the verdict is still out on Sophia. We'll see what happens this summer. That's always been a time for Days to really push the teen storylines. 😉

I'm glad that they've all been written like that. Teens are supposed to be messy lol and messiness leads to drama. He might have an alternative in Sophia.

Another weird one lol I didn't dislike it, and I did love everybody dancing and being so happy, but just like that episode when everyone was running the Quartermaine house, it just came off as so weird. Btw, Patti, the walking stereotype is unnecessary, I understand why Sonny had to lose it on Dex, but the way that it happened seemed a little forced. There had to have been another way to trigger Sonny then to have Dex suddenly become besties with the Cerullo's out of nowhere, though I wouldn't mind Lois or whoever bringing Cousin Lucia to PC to be with him 😂😂 Plus, I agree with everyone on here who was wondering how young marine, mercenary Dex can't take down a Grandpa who's halfway to feeble. And why is Trash Bag Joss suddenly so gaga over Dex again? Ya know, I had no idea that you could put a gun in somebody's head 😂😂😂

Everything to do with Holly/Nicole was the best part of today. Holly was so messy and bitchy today and I’m here for it. That’s the why she should be written, all the teens should be written like that actually. The relationship between her and Nicole and the fears that they both have and had over the years is really good dynamic that should be explored. Holly’s conversation with Marlena could play into that dynamic as well. And of course, it was also the right decision to have Eric be the one to come to Nicole’s rescue when she was drunk. The cliffhanger was pretty good too. I wonder what EJ’s gonna do now. Btw, did EJ really think that he could keep the secret that he was CEO of Dimera again from Paulina and everybody? That’s pretty dumb lol All the stuff with Clyde was pointless, as always. I’ll never understand why Days hasn’t killed him off yet. My hatred aside, the character has more than run its course. If they’re worried about the show needing a villain, there are plenty of contract actors/characters on the canvas already who could fill that position.

What a mess. I really hope we get an interview from somebody, anybody about this. There’s definitely a story behind all this, both behind the scenes and what we were seeing onscreen as well.

Xander and Sarah were really sweet today. Let them be happy for a little while before it all gets blown to hell again. And I couldn’t be happier that they finally have an actual baby playing Victoria 😂😂 I’m intrigued by Maggie’s plan to get Konstantin. And if it leads to him getting killed off lol I’d love it. He’s so ridiculous and annoying, he had me rooting for Alex in their scenes today. Speaking of Alex, I think him getting back with Theresa while two-timing her with Kristen is actually a really good idea. It’s make the whole mess that he’s in with Theresa even messier. I’m looking forward to when everything comes out even more now. And hopefully, it means that we’re gonna be spared an Alex/Kristen- typical Ron- annoying villain couple pairing. Kristen’s a lot of things but she’s definitely no one’s side piece. She thinks Gil must have been at the apartment to try and rape her and that Li was just in the wrong place at the wrong time Awwwwww

Ok, what the hell was Kristina wearing? And Lois??? Yikes. Speaking as an Italian, I can honestly say that no Italian mother would wear a monstrosity like that to their child’s wedding 😂😂 I did like a lot of the sweet family and friends moments though, especially the ones with Tracy. And I loved the bro hug between Spinelli and Jason 😊😂😂 As for newbie Gio, if they’re just gonna waste him with Joss, the actor would have been better off as a Cam recast.
