Damn, I really, really hope that the Christmas ornaments survived somehow. I wouldn’t have written this [!@#$%^&*] lol but if I did, I would have had Julie be all depressed and withdrawn at first, but after finding out that the ornaments survived, have that motivate her to rebuild the house and keep all the family traditions going. Still don’t understand how a mob daughter and a friggin Dimera can be so trapped by some douchebag like Clyde, but I liked Ava and Stefan’s scenes today. And I’m glad that they both finally posed the question as to why they had sex if they’re both so in love with other people. I hope they answer that soon. As much as I haven’t liked that Tripp and Wendy are just secondary characters in Ava’s crap, I am interested in Wendy agreeing to spy on Ava and not tell anyone about it. It could lead to some good conflict between her and Tripp. And I like how the show is still making it a mystery as to who the dirty cop is. I’m actually unsure if it’s the guy or the girl. And yeah, Xander looked hot lol I’m looking forward to this part of storyline and what it might do for him and Sarah.

I imagine a lot of people aren’t too thrilled with today’s episode. Part of me thinks Zende is lying though.

Good episode I like the way it’s all being written, even though they do seem to be hyping up Harris’ shooting as a bigger event than the fire, which it isn’t, but I think we all know who’s fault that is. But still the fire just seems so unnecessary. They had to have known that soap fans don’t like things like this. I hope the aftermath is as good as the spoilers are hinting. Doug and Julie and Thomas were breaking my heart though. Too bad that he got cheated out of an Emmy lol I liked seeing Tripp in Doctor mode too. And I am liking the Lucas aspect of the drug storyline, but honestly, why would anyone think that an apartment above a restaurant that everyone goes to would be a good safe house? 😂😂 And, I enjoyed the Paulina/Chanel scenes. Paulina’s always at her best when she’s more subtle. But people still use DVD’s? 😂😂

I admit, I did like the execution of it all. It was handled really well, but the fire just seems like it was done just to piss off the fans. Maybe I’m wrong about that, but they had to have known how people were gonna react to it. And as much as I like that Harris is not just a Jason clone, at this point, I wouldn’t mind him going full Jason and finally killing Clyde 😂😂

Good episode… that was completely ruined by the ending. Not looking forward to Monday. I’ll be honest, the other cliffhangers were pretty good though and I like the way that it was all written, but the big one was just so unnecessary. I think my idea of guys shooting up Johnny and Chanel’s wedding would have been a lot better. There were so many good conversations today. Julie’s story to Thomas and Charlotte was one of those sweet, dorky family moments that I really like. Chad and Julie were great too. They work so well together. Theresa and Alex’s talk about addiction and recovery seemed so real, plus Emily O’Brien did a really good job today too. The writing has improved so much for Theresa. I’m even still liking the ‘Will they or won’t they’ of Xander and Sarah because it’s almost like classic soap. Plus, I liked the follow up about the mysterious call that Xander received. And, it was all screwed up for literally no reason. Hopefully, this gets fixed quickly. It definitely feels like a big ‘F**k you’ to the fans. And if this was done just out of spite, pettiness or retribution, I hope whoever did this rots in hell.

Hey, we got a Black Patch set! I do like John and Steve scenes. They do work well together, despite the occasional hammy acting. And I think I might actually like this storyline a little bit if it made more sense. And if Konstantin wasn’t an annoying pain in the ass. It should been tied to Stefano somehow instead of just Victor. Sloan was a raging bitch today, but I don’t mind it. I like that there’s an added dynamic to that storyline. IMO, adding more to the storyline makes it more unpredictable and that’s always a good thing. I wonder if Ron was planning on writing it this way. I’m curious to see how everything is going to play out. I’m also interested in Tate’s angry letter to Brady. I wish we had seen it. It could lead to something really good happening once Tate comes back. It adds more notes and dynamic to this storyline as well. And, even though we’ve known about it for months now, I’m still not prepared for tomorrow’s episode. And Monday’s too. As for what’s happening offscreen, I just hope everything works out for everyone involved.
