That week was the conclusion of Billie’s trial, where it came out that Stefano was the one who killed Curtis.

Today felt rushed. It never works when you try to squeeze multiple episodes of drama into one. But I enjoyed today and despite the rushing it was so great to see Konstantin finally get his [!@#$%^&*] handed to him. I was actually a little surprised by his confession at the end too and I’m really looking forward to Monday 👍 I just wish the scenes today had gone on a little longer before they reached their climax. This was one moment that really shouldn’t have been rushed, especially considering how other characters and storylines get padded out with fluff all the time. Plus, it was really weird that Sarah appeared in the episode but couldn’t make the wedding. Budget and scheduling aside, she needed to be there. Sort of like how Will and Sonny, who spearheaded the plan to end Leo and Craig suddenly couldn’t make their wedding. And all the trouble they went through to have Dee and Suzanne finally share scenes together and Marlena couldn’t make the wedding either? She really needed to be there too. Switching gears, Theresa is a total dick for what she did to Brady but at least she conveyed some humanity in her scenes. You can tell she actually felt guilty. I hope her and Brady’s night together ends up driving storyline somehow, not just for them and Alex but for Tate as well.

Yeah… I’ll never understand why non-guests are allowed to use the Metro Court pool lol if I was staying there, I’d be pissed 😂😂 And, agreed about Gio. I still think he might have been better off as a Cam recast, but he’s pretty good. Hopefully, they’ll end up pairing him with Trina. She needs a storyline and it would be a lot better than wasting him with Joss, who’s already panting at him like a dog in heat. And seeing Joss as a lifeguard just makes me think about Britt. Gee, I wonder why 🖕🖕 As for Natalia, all I can say is, they swapped out one annoying old lady (Gladys) for another.

I wonder if the plans for whatever’s in the time capsule have changed now Well, Uncle’s had a nice, long vacation lol I really hope he does a good job

The Maggie/Julie scenes were nice… until Konstantin showed up. Dude really does drain the life out of every scene that he’s in. Hopefully, the spoilers about him are true. And whoever was asking about the Horton house set, I think it’s the exact same set, not a new, smaller one. The black paint and curtains on the French doors are a little ugly lol but everything else looks nice. Kristen was a bit of an idiot today but I guess her dumping Alex is in character for her. The woman’s only loved two men in her entire life and as much I’d love for her to finally get over Brady, I like that she’s not being changed for the sake of storyline. I do like how messy this whole storyline is getting though and I’m looking forward to tomorrow when Alex probably finds Brady and Theresa. And, I also liked the Chad/Lucas scenes even though Lucas being skeptical about Abigail possibly being alive was stupid, considering he went through the same thing with Will.

Too bad he doesn’t have an Emmy category to submit in anymore. I really think he could’ve won.

Yep We now had to believe that Susan and Dr. Rolf were lurking around and waiting, even though Ben immediately took Will’s body and dumped it as his apartment. But at least that storyline was told with obvious good intentions lol and it brought Will back so I didn’t mind it.

I guess that’s what we’re supposed to assume now. It just feels weird. Almost like it’s being written by a different writer Those Chad/Johnny scenes of them talking about a Dimera curse was such a missed opportunity I think Eric said that St. Jude was the patron Saint of suffering Out of those three, Stefan really is the weak link. It’s like he tries to be a tough guy, but deep down, he’s really just a bumbling sad sack

There was too much Rafe and Stefan today but everything else was good. Billy Flynn killed it once again. It really is crazy how he hasn’t won an Emmy in these last few years. As for the storyline, I’m glad that this is happening but I’m still really worried as to how this is going to play out. And why the rewrite? The original explanation was really lousy but we saw Abigail get murdered. Drugs weren’t mentioned once. I hope we get an answer to all these questions sooner or later. Eric and Nicole were good as well. They didn’t do much today but just seeing them in scenes together is always enjoyable. They still got that magic lol

When you got no writing talent, you do whatever you have to do get to an acceptable length 😂 I remember some of his episodes being as short as 32 minutes.

I liked Xander and Sarah’s scenes today. The relationship between Xander and his mother is a dynamic that should be explored. Not only because of what we already know about Xander being Victor’s son, but also because of what can be done with the character and how she and that relationship could drive story. Also, has anybody noticed that there seems to be an emphasis on the relationship between mothers and sons a lot? Kate/Lucas, Tripp/Ava, Leo/Diana and now Xander and his mother. I liked Chad and Steve’s scenes as well. Kayla’s anger towards Steve wanting to go to Montana made a lot of sense and I like that the show brought it up. Plus, Chad needs to be a part of this Montana adventure. And I hope that this all means that Clyde is finally gonna die. He’s like the Peter August of Days lol

That’s another reason why you don’t give a character years worth of story when you only have the actor for 6 months. I hope they do. There’s still a lot that they can do with the character. Plus, with both Flashbacks must be how he pads out the script because he doesn’t know what else to write. I will admit though, that yesterday was better than some of the garbage we’ve seen from Jamey, but it still wasn’t as good as Friday’s episode.

Honestly, I just want it to be a soap. And to feel like a soap. Not some primetime wannabe, where every conflict gets resolved in two episodes. Not some Ron Carlivati-Jamey Giddens cringey, campy shitfest. Not a ripoff of the most popular show currently on TV. A soap.

Not much happened today. Melinda was a total dick though, and even though I don’t like Rafe, I hope he finds a way to double cross her once he gets the book. And I was definitely all for Roman banning Leo from the Pub. I hope that sticks lol And is this is it for Sloan? Or is she gonna pop again in the next few episodes? All the scenes with and Eric/Nicole/EJ continue to be good. I did feel that the momentum from last week seemed to drop off a little today but I still enjoyed those scenes. Just as long as Leo doesn’t win anything good 😂😂
