I just watched the pilot (directed by Fred Savage, by the way),and really liked it. It left me wanting more.

I know Sharon Gabet has gone on the record saying she regrets taking the part of Brittany on AW. She had come to AW after playing a beloved and highly successful character on EDGE, so how exactly was she received by fans? I know the character of Brittany was a mess.

At heart, DWTS always had some "old-fashionedness" to it. A big part of that was Tom. He made the hosting job look effortless. When they let him go, he took all the warmth with him.

That was an awesome scene. Jami Fields was one of the best juvenile performers the show ever had. Not only could she play all facets of Penny believably, but she was able to hold her own with both Liz Hubbard and Gerald Gordon. That's talent.
