  1. Well, he's off to a good start if he got Kelly Rutherford. Post-GEN, didn't she nearly get AW when Jensen Buchanan almost left?
  2. Yes!! That's the one!! 😂😂😂😂😂
  3. Like someone said on another thread, it's too bad won't convert all these long out-of-print soap novels into a digital format for fans to download. It would be so much less expensive.
  4. Remember the blooper shows Dick Clark had back in the day? He used to have a block of an episode dedicated to soap bloopers. They showed a blooper with Nancy Frangione and Lisa Brenner. Cecile and Maggie were supposed to be arguing when Ms. Frangione nearly took a header off the Cory mansion stairs. Ouch! I wish I could find it online; I found it on an old VHS tape.
  5. No matter how they tried, Eileen just never fit at SB. Maybe they should have cast her as Jodie Walker instead. Maybe Krista Tesreau (who played Andi in the show's last months) would have made a better Kelly if they were that determined to recast.
  6. How horrible. Has the government not learned from the previous regime??? 😡😡😡😡😡
  7. I like your ideas. Though to be fair, I don't know if when Alan began the show it was going to be an ongoing thing. It seemed like it was just a bunch of Zoom reunions while everyone was in lockdown to bring some cheer to all. They had much more of a spontaneous feel. I will give credit to Alan for consistently getting good guests. But he still needs to work at actual research and interviewing skills.
  8. The last year of the show, from an aesthetic view, doesn't even fit with the previous years. It looks like an entirely different show!!
  9. Melanie Smith with Mary Ellen Stuart was right up there as well. 😊
  10. That whole thing still squicks me out. I guess the only not-totally-negative thing I can say about it is that Robin Wright had long departed SB. No way can I picture her paired up with A Martinez after they had played the big brother/little sister vibe for so long - even at the beginning of the show in 1984 before Eden came on.
  11. So, is anyone interested in watching this season? I haven't been interested in watching since they got rid of Tom Bergeron - and the latest crop of contestants hasn't interested me, either.
  12. Cruz's parents and siblings (especially his mother) did pop up from time to time, but there was never a stable Castillo family presence at all times like there was for the Capwells. And, of course, having the Capwells be the only stable family on the canvas hurt the show in the long run.
  13. Eileen Davidson (Y&R, DAYS, SB) and Nancy Valen (RH) are sisters-in-law via the Van Patten brothers (Eileen is married to Vincent and Nancy is married to Nels). Here they are on the set of the 2020 Hallmark movie, Middleton Christmas:
  14. Big shock about Sinema. 🙄
  15. Well, Eden definitely had the advantage of having her family be a prominent part of the canvas, which Cruz never did.
  16. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but I'm not. Angry? Yes.
  17. I know that Christina/Blake was raised a Bauer, but when did it come out that she wasn't?
  18. How exactly did they break up Carol and Steve? I know that Rita Walter left ATWT (and not long after that, show business altogether), but was this a pairing that had any rooting value?
  19. I wish more of these Zoom reunions were like that - with one of the cast members acting as moderator.
  20. Christine Jones (best known for AW and OLTL) is the granddaughter of legendary Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey, who signed Jackie Robinson.
