What are you all talking about? Karla was playing Dani today like the over-the-top DIVA she is and I loved every minute of it. But I live for Dani/Nicole sister scenes. And this was no different. It was very 'I know my sister is the reserved one so I'm going to be extra jokey to get her to open up.' Some siblings...and close friends...are like that. She even upstaged Febreeze (and Karla made that product placement seem effortless).

Thank you!! I knew about the dress, but I still was wondering if they would show it. So excited. BUT not too much. hehe. And for all my shade at said story...THAT would have been interesting to watch. Nathan trying to rebuild his life while using Spinelli and James to play the 'Is it really Nathan?' angle. Sidenote....that is part of the reason I loved Lulu's return story. It was more interesting to watch Lulu struggle with the fact that she was in a coma for four years and missed so much. From deaths to her children growing up to the love of her life finding someone and losing her. AB was selling that, and she did it soooo well. Even for scenes where it was clear it was not written on the page or the scene Lulu would be in. Even her vs BLQ as her second story had layers stringing from that angle. It was just sad that it felt like EK and CVE differed on that...perfering to go for a more straight-forward (or should I say slantedly written) story of a feud.

I'm not at all against Dante staying as Police Commissioner. It brings his recurring issues about his professional life vs personal life re: Sonny/nowMichael to the forefront. And that story...especially right now...just writes itself. As do I. So I will take it that Anna will be in France for the foreseeable future. And now Jason's exit storyline writes itself if he goes after her/Faison.

Well it's good to hear that Angel held her own. Got done with the finale of MISS SCARLET and finishing off Ice Staking at the Winter Olympics so about to sit down to watch myself.

Guuuurl, you know they are. lol. I was pleasant surprised. I'm sure I will be greatly annoyed when they mess it up somehow, but for now...same.

Finally looping back around and wanted to say that I agree. I can like writing all I want...and I do...but eventually even I want to discuss sets. And I do hope to see some improvement now that we are hitting the one-year anniversary. I do appreciate that just like with characters and writing, that it seems like the show is slooowlly factoring in what people are saying. Now it seems dialogue is popping up to explain why people do things where they do them. But...more...like outdoor sets...would be nice for example. Sets are still very much an important element on soaps. They can reflect the personality just as much as clothes can. And when it comes to wardrobe, BTG got that in spades re: personality. I look forward to seeing the sets do the same. Eventually.

2-13 Yeah, that was a good week. Yeah, the Carter/Daphne wedding was same ole, same ole. But well-timed with Singles Awareness Day Valentine's Day so I can't knocked it too much. They even managed to get a quick group together as witnesses. And the vows were sweet. Ridge's moment was not as cringe as I thought it would be. And there was even a wedding night showed. But what I really loved was the progression in the Dylan storyline. From homeless to getting a job to Will seeing her and then it all came out. I felt everyone did good in their scenes. AB was playing Ivy as that uppity Ice Queen to the hilt. And shame on Electra for being so insecure. But like I said, they are going to self-fulfilling prophecy Will/Dylan and it will be all their fault. Next week looks good, too. My only worry was that it seems Taylor/Deacon look reduced back to C plot next week ,but we will see.

RHOP I never really talked about the finale. Well about Karen. I wanted to wait until I watched it a second time since I was pretty distracted and felt a bit bored by the second half honestly. I thought that it started off well enough. I didn't feel Karen was putting it on for the cameras. She felt...real. And traumatized. But still a good trooper to be back on camera. And the reunion with the family was a good moment. And then Andy showed up. So moment of truth? How was Karen going to be? Would she take the NY LuAnn approach or the OC Shannon approach. Mind you, I'm still waaaay behind on OC, but I heard some things. I didn't like that she was trying to be deluded Karen at first. Le sigh. But as Andy kept pressing...it's been a minute with him being clocked in...I felt it was more complex. I originally didn't like that she tried to tie it back to her being sexual assaulted at first...that was the moment that I really grew to love Karen as a person. But...in hindsight...I could see that. But I didn't like how she kept pushing the narrative that it was the pills. Granted one should not mix pills and alcohol so she had a point. However, people have been talking about Karen and her drinking for years. So it can't just be that now that the whole truth is out there for anyone to find. I was disappointed that she did not own up to that a little bit more. Even if it was just for show...like LuAnn did. This was Karen's first chance to repair her image...and she was fumbling getting an A+. She has a loooong way to go, and I was already disappointed. B - But star power she is! RHOP's ratings (against the GRAMMY at that) was a season high. People wanted to see what Karen would say. A long-time coming. And we all knew that. Karen played her cards there right. Andy played his cards right, but showing Karen what was said at last year's reunion. It's a given it's going to be Wendy vs Karen. So...can't wait.
