  1. 2-5 Where do I even begin??? I think @Antoyne knows. They completely got me. Lucky, Liz, and that dance. That near kiss. I swooned. And then I growled when that door knock happened. They did it so well, I didn't even realize that I was invested. And then RIC at the door. Lord...THAT'S my kind of couple drama. The tension and chemistry between RH, JJ, and RH2 was on full display. I was living. How much I really want this part of that story to be more than a B plot. Wow. I see puberty has hit the actor playing Danny. That growth spurt took me out. Not sure how I feel about him knowing that Sam was murdered. I am surprised to say it, but I'm surprised that I liked this leg of Joss going after Cyrus. But I also liked the Carly/Lucas scene. Very well-done discussing Carly's history with men who have a secret side to their lives. Willow and Drew continue to be messy. And I think I am leaning Willow into the love to hate that I feel for Drew now. They are just so loathsome right now to me. Do they not care about Sam's wishes at all? Not to mention Monica's. And Michael ain't no saint due to him sleeping with Sasha, but they are aiming to make him into one with their actions. And I enjoyed Carly dragging Drew. Now I just need her to be ON...THE...LOOSE and get them. Even if it winds up as a murder mystery. That reminds me because I don't think I mentioned it...so Cody knows about this BLQ baby, too? And that it's probably Dante? Given how Cody has been acting lately and how the writers seem set to make him into a 'force multipler'...I wonder if at some point, he might be crazy enough to blackmail his loved ones or be manipulated into it at some point in that silly storyline.
  2. That would be very interesting indeed. Very intriguing since I have liked what little I've seen of her.
  3. OMG!!! Really? lol. That is so cute re: Genzel as Skye first. I also liked her as Nurse Ali, too. I liked later Ali, too, but I always liked to support Genzel, but you know me and raven-haired beauties. Not just on GH. Just look at Skye on OLTL. That said...do you think she could work on GH's canvas now with the Quartermaine reinassance going on? You are just now seeing the awesomeness that is Ms. Wu??? Guuurl...lol. So happy to have her back on canvas. Loved her since she started heavily recurring when Carly took Sonny's place during the Nixon Falls storyline.
  4. 2-5 Okay, seriously...is Eric Breaden about to retire? I thought about that last week and some of the conversations Victor has been having with characters has made me start to question that. Here with Victoria and Adam. The other day with Nick. What is going on? While I've been enjoying moments over the last few episodes, there's already been too much Billy for my taste. Of course, that means that I've been FFing a lot. Though I caught that cute catty moment between Sally and Phyllis. Speaking of...yes!!! I loved Sharon vs Giggly Heffa at Crimson Lights. Sharon got so many good digs in as she put Phyllis on notice. More of this Sharon please. Another moment I loved was Audra and Amy looking over Audra's job options and Amy going Black Mama with her 'Nope.' LMAO!!! Those two have gotten so close. And I enjoy it. But the Daiman storyline continued to progress over these last two episodes and I loved it. The reveal. The Olivia shoutout. The brief history on Nate Sr. I don't see how Holden (hehe at @soapfan770) is going to keep up the deception to Nate because Amy will want to see her son at some point, right? In any case, totally invested. Uh oh at Victor/Adam's talk. So Victor wants Adam to downplay the Ian/Jordan story on Newman Media. Not realizing that Ian is STILL alive. THAT will come back to bite him. I liked the little moment between Summer and Daniel over their mother as well as Jack/Diane with Kyle/Claire. Any mention of John Abbott and Jack's love for his dad will always draw me in. But yeah...right now the A story is the Damian storyline it seems. I have no problem with that. Other than that, just a lot of interesting moments I like to see...BUT waaay too much Billy. Ooooo I will take that tea. I might see if I can squeeze those in tomorrow between rugby (The Six Nations tourament started...started being shown in the US...last weekend) and Super Bowl. Oh, I forgot. I'm curious to see what Diane does. And it touches back on her return story. Nice touch.
  5. I want to say that's who he coupled up with. But it's been soooo long. And yes, she was killed. By Faith or Anthony? I'm not sure I was not regularly viewing but remember her being killed and being shocked because GH, like Y&R, used to be very good with their developed supporting background characters back in the day. While I do like RC (against Brenda of course), I had to come around because MY first Skye was Genzel on AMC and I loved the Skye/Erica Kane/Janet trio...gone too quickly for me. I think that was one of the first times I had to deal with the concept of what a recast was because I found out about RC's Skye being the original later. Basically, I'm so bias to Genzel even now.
  6. You betta speak those true words!
  7. OMG! So true! Remember Reginald and...Letita? I hate to say it, but yes, Nina was a RC creation. Taste.
  8. Ironically the day before you posted this, I had just read Linden Ashby's SOD article about him first returning to the canvas. Thank you for this.
  9. Yeah, we really did have it good. As far as romances that I'm currently liking...I would say Jordan and Isaiah, Brennan and Carly once it moved, Ava and Ric once it moves, Liz and Lucky when they are shown...but I think you get what I'm saying. Back then, couples were built and build mostly organically. Heck thinking like that...I think the only one that's building and actually shown at the moment is Jordan and Isaiah. lol. And to think before that, the only couple building WAS BLQ and Chase (with Cody and Sasha on the side) and look at them now. smh.
  10. You know I live for you not liking Lily/Miguel. Though I know you have warm to Lily over time. I go back and forth over Sabrina myself. I had already left before Sabrina/Michael started though it sounded like it had potential. Yep.
  11. 2-4 Drew...AND MS. WU??? Now we know Drew has gone to the dark side. lol. Loved it. Lucy with the eyebrow cock...making me think of That GH opening that guy on Bluesky parodied above lmao well-timed. Carly getting that look that she has not had on her face in a good minute when she found Drew's tie on the couch...just so CARLY. Jordan actually being Undercover Jordan which she hasn't been since she first came on the scene. And that's just moments. Storywise, I found a lot that I liked. Cuz WOOOOOOW Drew really done hopped that fence just to have sex with Willow. The shady comments that come to mind. lol. And now he's setting his targets up in a row. Curtis and using Ms. Wu to do it. And now OFFICIALLY aiming for Jason AND Sonny. And we all know how well that ends. Murder mystery, anyone??? Great Lucky/Liz scene. But seeing the 'letterhead' of the episode, that did not surprise me at all. I enjoyed them talking and Lucky talking about his adventure at Sidwell's. And any callback to Liz's long-ago declaration that she's no one's angel...which when I really and officially became her fan...hit home. No plot...just the two of them bonding organically through actions that did take place on screen. And the dance....awwwww. Anything that makes Liz happy, makes me happy. 'We have a connection.' Isaiah, if you don't stop!!! Lord, I've enjoyed all the Jordan/Isaiah interactions. And when he said that, and Jordan stumbled in her words. And he gave that look....mmmm WOOOOFFF!!!! I almost hate that Sidwell is involved. And...she has a bit of chemistry with both. And add in Lucy being Lucy. That actually could be fun. Though I still want Sidwell to go. Of course Jason is out of town all of a sudden *cough*blockfilming*cough* More time for the writers to spin this stupid 'Jason is Sasha's babydaddy' storyline off into something. That said...CARLY...YOU...BETTA...READ!!!! And CARLY is the one who gave Drew that tie, too?? I could not believe that Drew actually hopped a fence. I mean...is it that good? On one hand, the Willow/Drew story just feels nasty. On the other hand, this is turning into some good messy drama. And more reason I feel Drew is going to wind up obsessed. I also liked that it seems like the writers are going to keep the rivalry between Drew and Cody going. And cuz we know I love seeing her...MSSSSSSSSSSSSS WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for NuBrennan...well I've always said Charles Mesure could get it. I've also said grown up Chris McKenna could get it when he was on Y&R and all theme primetime movies so looks don't bother me at all and I already knew Chris could fill out a suit. So mmmmm. That said...I liked that Chris (now that I've seen the whole scenes) has found the essence of the Brennan character from go which I liked. I'm undecided how I feel about him with Carly though. I also wonder...would it be funny if this turned into a Stabi from DAYS situation? Where the recast (which was Tyler Christopher to Brandon Barash) happened and real interest takes hold in the audience...only for the recast to be killed off before the writers realize it? And intriguing they brought back that Cyrus thread. I thought Brennan got the footage to help Joss and thus Carly, but there's something else in play...? Carly being Carly will always get a rise out of me. Light Drew up, Carly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then Drew throwing Jason in Carly's face. Lord...his inferiority complex. But...that was good!!!
  12. Hollering!!! The Faith turn for me.
  13. Lol. That nut!!!
  14. Liz is even Head Nurse now so that tracks. And I completely agree. Part of the reason I like her is her growth from bad girl to artist to nurse. And from her mistakes and wanting to change, she was highly watchable and highly rootable for me growing up. Something people love to see and support an underdog. Truly an actress who can turn some horrible stories (and pairings) into gold. And yes, I do enjoy seeing Lucky and Liz all grown up with smiles. Especially Lucky. Say what I want about his appearances, but he hasn't looked like he's going to cry since a little bit after his character got away from Sidwell. Finally!!!
  15. Same. Same, but true. Regardless of BTS power.
  16. I started watching earlier today and have gotten to that part. I want to say I wanted to meh about it, but I guess it goes to the talent of the actress that once she said that darn cat came out during dinner that I was giggling right along with her. I was shocked how touching a story it was. I agree...perhaps because we have been dealing with psychos for the last month, that I really loved the normalcy of those scenes. And hey...Nate got a haircut!!! Soooooooo much yes. I'm loved the first 5 minutes and how sassy Sharon got with Giggly Heffa. THAT'S the Sharon I'm used to seeing and I liked how SC played what I've seen so far, still feeling the aftereffects of what happened, but she was not about to let that heffa get her all the way together. Moreso since Phyllis remembered IT WAS NOT SHARON that drove her off the road. In fact, I will probably rewatch those scenes because both were acting, bringing their A game, but it's been a very busy day for me today so could not give it nearly the amount of attention that I wanted to give. Nah! I wish it was true, but I feel JG is going to throw her in their direction. The joke that keeps on giving. lol. She came back from her honeymoon and has just vanished. Well does stuff off-screen...like in the case of her saving Tessa and Aria. So you know how I felt since the reveal that Damian owned the company in the first place. And how annoyed I was the storyline vanished for a week and a half.
  17. Well those fans seem to think she would never kill someone when we have seen her kill in cold blood. Ava...when allowed to be who she is...is not one to cross. And when pushed far enough, I still think Liz can be edgy. And we know she always has an ace by having an enforcer as a past love interest. That dynamic would be interesting to see if the writers decide to go that way. Mmmmm...Dorian...but I wouldn't mind Ava playing that, either. It would only be confusing with how these new/old writers like to vanish characters off for a spell and then we the audience forget about those connections. I know I have moments...like with where's TJ for example. You do make me wonder what mode Jason is in now. Especially since he flat out told Sonny he refused to take charge of the mob and was focusing on his kids. And he turned down Brennan's offer which would lead to more Adventure Jason. I do like him as Jason Q these days more than how Stone Cold the writers seem to want SB as when they took over in August. He does seem more Quartermaine-y now than I would say Mob Enforcer. But I am probably overthinking because I liked a lot of the duality that has been in play for Jason since he returned last year. Don't get me started. lol. Was looking forward to it along with the duality in play last year.
  18. Wait. Hold up. Wait, wait, wait...was he??? No wonder he looked familiar!!!!!!!!!! They have chemistry, too. Though I'm not sure where Nina is going to land when all this Drew stuff is over. They treat her as an afterthought as is. For all I know, they will try to have her breakdown again which we know CW can totally play. But...if they go with Ric...wouldn't be the first time in a year that Ava and Nina have fought over a man.
  19. Yeah so many people looked forward to seeing Liz's parents. And definitely a loooooong time coming. Only for it to be about...Finn. RME. I don't know yet if the show has pass by Lucky, but the writing (and filming) ain't doing him any favors. At this point, I am wondering if the shipping off of Jake is a way to avoid what you mention re: Jason/Liz. And I'm totally down for Ric and Liz treated like that. Or even a Liz/Ric/Ava triangle. Because everyone would have chemistry with everyone going off of those brief Liz/Ava scenes when Liz was helping Nik hide pregnant Esme in the Wyndermere tower, and Ava believed Liz's baby lie.
  20. 2-3 Well first of all, I guess I see what you all meant about the 1-31 episode. Because I found there were a lot of interesting things going on. But darrrrrn at how all those quick cuts destroyed all of the potential. I mean...what was even the point of Brad at the gym and seeing it for 45 seconds, then 10 seconds, and then off to the hospital 30 minutes if for nothing other than wacka wacka humor. When they could have JUST focused on his quest to get Lucas back. I was hoping to see Kai's friend again. I felt he more than likely would be a spoiler between Trina and Kai and hoped for it. That actor had more chemistry with Trina than the actor playing Kai in those first scenes. So I was happy to see him and surrrre enough he don't like Trina. I continue to love Maxie being in character. Being kind, but matter-of-fact with Emma one moment. Then being sassy and a diva the next. I can't believe Emma would even think to spread a rumor. It's almost like this whole 'Jason is Sasha's babydaddy' angle to the Michael baby plot is being done...silly for one...and also because SB's comments about doing such a storyline so the writers had to figure out a way to make it so there is no way a Jason/Sasha relationship will happen for two. I had heard rumblings about seeing a return to Alexis's vengeful half aka Nastasha. But...I haven't seen any of it yet. I have seen a grieving mother though. I love the scenes with Sonny and telling Kristina and Molly (and Diane in that poor wig) about Sam being murdered. Ever since Kristina lost the baby and Sam died, Sonny and Alexis have had an interesting platonic rapport that I've really been liking. So it was nice to see more of the same. NLG continues to sell it. I AM looking forward to Natasha coming out to play when she finds out Cyrus killed Sam. And DZ continues to do excellent work. Him losing his cool with Anna was so unexpected, but DZ played that to the hilt. And I loved him talking to BLQ. I wonder if it is going to be Lulu that finds out about the baby just judging from her walking in on BLQ with Dante. Even though nothing was going on...AB played the history of that. In fact, it's interesting to see BLQ have a setback with Chase, Lulu getting that Deception job/talking to Laura/Maxie about her feelings for Dante, and Dante learning his fiancée was murdered and then...that scene happened and playing so much onto their past history and the fact of the basic of the Lulu Awakens storyline. Dante has grown. BLQ has grown. And they are showing it. But Lulu is just soooooo stuck in the past. And because of that...trouble ahead. A different kind of rebuild for her. Isaiah...let me just *swoon* as he came in to flirt with Jordan before she had to deal with Sidwell. If they don't get this Cyrus storyline frakking going...lol. My way of saying that I did love the Lucky and Liz scenes as they are following up on the hospital list. Yes, it is a beat that should be played. But it just felt like stalling given how many other people also know or suspect Cyrus. This story should be having a steadier pace than what is being shown. I would say it's more C story than B story at the moment...and that makes no sense. Bittersweet that basically Brennan aired last (as Charles Mesure) on Friday. And he and Carly had had such adult conversation. Le sigh. PS. I could watch Curtis vs Drew forever. From former friends to guys taking digs at each other.
  21. I can't believe they would believe Jason would at all.
  22. 2-3 Off to a good start. For one...yay the Daiman storyline is back. And you can never go wrong with Victor vs Jack. lol. But of course, here we go with Romeo and Juliet...I mean Kyle and Claire. Hopefully, Claire keeps her edge. And I enjoyed the Kyle/Diane scenes. But loooord at the idea of Victor and Jack trying to get in-between those two...ON TOP of Summer. Let everyone have their own stories. lol. I like the fallout from Jordan/Ian's reign of terror. Though I do worry that them not knowing Ian is still alive. BTW M Graz knocked his scenes when Sharon, Nick, and Michael told him who killed Heather as well as him and Sharon coming to terms out of the park. I am loving the rapport that Amy and Audra have grown throughout the Daiman storyline. And Damian is finally in town. My only regret is that I spoiled (oops) the next plot twist. I should have seen it coming. Especially with what Daiman's favorite book is. And ooooooo I love it. I want more. Billy trying to get over his obsession with Victor and do business with Giggly Heffa and Daniel was clear C plot.
  23. Not as much as the two months of RH being the lead in the episode count and Liz having constant scenes with all THREE of her past love interests. I'm happy to see her all the same...and NOT catch up.
