  1. 2-10 A chore. Which I knew it was going to be, but I had hoped. Nope. lol. It was mostly plot points with (barely) nothing to grab onto. Someone really needs to stop writing in factory settings when he's in charge of the writing. Thankfully, there were at least good moments to get me through it. I've never been so happy to see Stone Cold. I didn't like how abrupt he was written out of the story. And I still strongly feel he was written out because SB really does not want to play a 'Jason is Sasha's babydaddy' storyline given he's logically done this two times before. So Frank the writers had to find a way to still do their story without Jason coming off a way that will offend. At least I continue to love that we are getting Tracy/Jason scenes. And I loved the close-up of Tracy after Jason left, showing genuine concern for him. I loved everything Liz/Ric/Ava. Ric flashing that smile at Liz after bringing her flowers. The two of them in the park talking. The slapstick AGAIN (and in a GOOD way) of them running into yet another dramatic situation. Just like their last walk. lol. And then Ava and Ric and their kiss. Just good. Oh, lord. SHUT UP, KRISTINA. She came across crazy while Ava only came across desperate. But I don't mind seeing where that will go since it seems the Joss/Kristina rivalry is over again. Cyrus's storyline was C plot, but I take it, it is about to FINALLY kick up a notch given how last week ended. So having it in the background was a good choice. Him spying on Liz. And then him running into Joss. And now Brennan's henchwoman gave her that location. Another piece of the puzzle... I agree with Tracy. When Carly decides she wants to Carly...WATCH OUT!!! I liked Trina's hair and seeing her and Ava have scenes. Though I still can't believe how they want Ava to just sit there and stay poor. Just so out of character. I was not feeling her and Kai this episode. Hypothetic. The best soap events have multiple and 4 is a great number.
  2. Perhaps I should say at least she's not seeing things and acting like she's on a verge of breakdown. She can hold a cohesive conversation. That said...I don't like Sharon as a busybody and she definitely did come off medicated whether it was intentional or not. Who? 🥷
  3. Thank you. All her attempts to be Regina George, and yet all Lisa did was show how unsentimental she is. I agree. Especially about Gizelle. She had a great season from where I'm at in my watching. Same.
  4. We are definitely overdue a Sweeps event where four (at least) secrets explode at once. That's for sure.
  5. I bet we are getting that Victoria Rowell wish sooner rather than later. But...a boi can dream. lol.
  6. Mos def. There are still people stumbling onto the trailers and seeing her, creating even more buzz in the HW Universe. Especially with the RHOP Reunion getting ready to start this weekend and will still be airing when BTG starts. Ooooooo
  7. 2-7 The best soap rivals usually have that one (or several) team-up against a common enemy. So it was long overdue for Carly and Nina to do the same. Their rivalry has mostly been background since Sonny and Nina broke up so I was happy to see them coming together to go against Drew. Uh oh. But still nice to see the Cyrus storyline finally start to move again. I was hoping for the Liz bait. Now it just feels like Liz has a target on her back. On a trivial note, which of her men will save her? And that Lulu/Cyrus scene was chilling. Yeeeeah he does sound like he killed Sam to get Lulu to wake up for sure. Drew suuuuuure is making the rounds of hanging with all the villains on canvas. LOL!!! Congressmen has definitely fallen to the dark side. So Sidwell had NATALIA followed, NOT Sonny. The question is...why?
  8. I was happy to see Sharon back to normal if they are treating her like a busybody. I even liked that AL was being delicious ambiguous in that last scene with Summer, Claire, and Victor. But so terrible soap. Moreso because like you said...flaws and all the Newman story we just got was built nicely with cliffhangers that continued. Same for the Ashley story. So...why?
  9. Don't get me started cuz I was about to pull a Candiace earlier and wordsmith up some shade, but pretty much. I don't get it. HOW?? I was looking forward to the showdown.
  10. 2-6 And there goes ANOTHER piece of the puzzle. Now Rocco AND Dante are running around knowing that Cyrus killed Sam. And the possibility presents itself that the two of them might be involved in whatever is coming for Cyrus. And lord helps us when Jason finds out... I admit that I did like the parallels between Lucas/Brad and Carly/Brennan. And Chris continue to do a good job with Brennan for me. But oooo at Brennan playing Joss like a fiddle. I love how flawless JE played 'you have not seen the last of me.' That said...ugh at all the Martin vs Tracy stuff. That said...omg!!! So it IS Gio. And Lois DOES know. Ugh. These 'not funny' scenes Lois had with Martin had me thinking that perhaps she did not know at all. That way she has wiggle room to be redeemed. Well at least BLQ is unaware. Still...ugh. As someone that has frequently pointed out that the scab writers rewrote the boss of Austin/Mason from woman to Cyrus (who paid for Austin's education and Mason's whatever from what I remember of the on-air reveal), I do like that plot thread being picked up since I thought he was the one to kill Austin. Though that part (the killing) was corrected for me. Drew continues to give crazy eye when it comes to Willow. And CM's mannerisms give that obsession some legs. It made me wonder when Willow leaves him, WILL Drew go crazy? Nina and Carly teaming up...YES, PLEASE.
  11. SLC In a word...chaotic. I guess if I think about it...the whole reunion was chaotic, but Part 3 for sure was crazy! Britini in all of her crazy thirsty glory...and Mary not here for it! Bob, Jared's small D rumor, and the unseen footage! Lisa vs Ms. Whit! Andy unusually pressed! Mary having Ms. Whit's back against the fake narrative of Jen Shah getting a second chance...but MONICA can't! Bob getting her lick back on Lisa 'Social Friend' Barlow! Heather's lame attempts for relevancy. Everything, but the kitchen sink, hunni!!! What I really liked about this part? That even the ladies got tired of how Andy acts at a reunion and just ran right on pass him to force some resolution...which is what THE AUDIENCE would like. Was that Lisa vs Ms. Whit segment brutal? Oh, yes. But I liked they FINALLY came to some kind of compromise/truce/resolution in spite of interference. Will it hold? I guess we'll see next season. LISA. I feel like someday her ability to not have true empathy for others or to care about anyone but herself will eventually come back to bite her on her butt. I did like Production gave her just that little bit of unseen footage of her defending Bob and her marriage, but that felt like they were doing that to protect Lisa as a favorite (like that rumor that she and Mary got into it over their kids that was cut from the cast trip to protect both) than to show that Lisa is a good friend. She isn't. Which is why I LOVE Ms. Whit setting her up about how she's a good friend to have THREE witnesses (Bob, Mary, Angie K) on the couch next to her who ALL can say otherwise. Well-played, Whitney. And after pressing her, Lisa had no choice, but to come to some compromise. Let's see if she upholds that. Honorable mention...her pulling a Regina George on Heather with the STFU. HEATHER. She even threw Britini...who came on as HER friend...under the bus just to appear relevant. lol. That was how irrelevant Terri Demarco Heather was to this reunion. The ONLY time that she was relevant was when Ms. Whit flipped the script on Meredith (with Mary's help) and called out the hypocrisy of the ladies still going to bat for Jen Shah over Monica. THAT was the time for Heather to speak up. Even Production with the cameras knew that and focused clear on Heather. And what did she do? Looking down and sat there like a little church mouse. Weak sauce. MEREDITH. Smh. I'm sure she did not like Mary speaking up against her over Jen Shah. Not that she should have been surprised. One of Mary's many throughline has always been Mary does not see it at all for Jen Shah. Moreso now that it's been proven this show can go on WITHOUT her. Unlike without Mary. Now *PhaedraParks*CHECK THAT.*PhaedraParks* ANGIE K. Curiously muted outside of the fact she and Brit came in the same dress. lol. Glad she came to a little truce over High Body Count Hair. MARY. MVP for me. Not only backing up Ms. Whit when Jen Shah came up, but she dished out truth on all of them. Because what Mary has never liked about them has been the fact that they don't like to be held accountable for things they actually did. And perhaps they wanted to have selective amnesia if they want, but most people remember how much of a (flashy) terror Jen was. And lest they forget, she was STEALING FROM OLD PEOPLE to fund her lifestyle. And also she LIED RIGHT UP UNTIL SHE WENT TO JAIL!!! Mary was reading that left couch, and I was living...backhanded compliments to Jen and all. And Couch Left can feel any way they want, but Mary be standing in her truth and worse...is an Andy's favorite...so they can't say JACK to her. And even if they did...she would read them like a Scripture (c) Mary Crosby. And I was also lmao at how she don't see it for Britini at all. WHITNEY. Okay, she earned me calling her by her name. lol. Cuz for her not doing much in the other parts really, Whitney came out to play for this part. And that coup de grace of her setting Lisa up to look oh so stupid to Couch Right in the Best Friend Ever Contest was something out of Ashley Darby's playbook, and I was not mad at it. She came across silly, but rational vs Lisa. And to Lisa, image is EVERYTHING. So Lisa had to call a truce after. The fact that she and Lisa went toe to toe was crazy to watch. While I want them to maintain their truce, if they do not...Whitney needs to come like this moving forward. BOB. Hehe. I enjoyed her getting her lick back on Lisa. And her vs Britini will never not be funny. And all that tea about Jared...lmao. And the tea of the unseen footage and that her AND Lisa heard this rumor from some random guy from the spa. Hmmm. And then...Jared CLAPPED BACK ONLINE. And Production SHOWED the callback. I hollered. BRITINI. You know what? She is coco bananas, but I warmed up to her by the end. I don't want her to have a snowflake, but I don't mind her coming back in this FOH capacity. She was hilarious during the reunion. SLC's answer to Marlo of the old RHOA days. And the fact she waited around after her segment thinking she was going to come back for the end of toast. lol. And not to mention she was hoping to make an entrance was also lol. I also loved the positive note moment that Andy staged at the end. Usually they fall flat for me, but this one felt genuine. I didn't think this show would have a good season after S4 with Monica, but I'm eating my words. It was a pretty good season. A good newbie. Good personal stories and subplots. Personal good FOH. And it was mostly wrapped up at the end without it getting toxic. Can't wait for next season.
  12. 2-7 YESSS!!! FINALLY!!! Friday cliffhanger indeed!!! And yes, I loved the camerawork for the last scene. Complete old school Y&R with the main person talking in the foreground with a character blurred in the background. Chills. My highlight was the Daiman storyline again!!! The reveal of who Holden was to Amy and Nate. And Ms. Amy actress was bringing it. More edgy than she has been and that tone of steel at being deceived. I liked Nate leveled with Holden. Getting us to that cliffhanger. You know what? I loved seeing Chloe. She looked positively refreshed. I didn't even mind the Kevin mention. He can stay off-screen. But her scene with Sally was cute. RME at the Billy/Giggly Heffa/Daniel scene. And Jack gave Billy money to start up his business? When did he and Jack get back on good terms after that Billy temper tantrum he threw? Pretty good week.
  13. So we might get that soap showdown AFTER ALL???
  14. And your perspective is appreciated. But very true. Acting will always be subjective. I don't really speak on Oscar because I was not regularly viewing during his time on the show for the most part. But from what little I've seen, I agree with everyone else though.
  15. 2-6 Oh @Antoyne, you sure did not lie!!! I hollered at that ending. Well-played, Nate!!! Yes, I'm talking about the Damian storyline. And yet another turn...and coming off the Tale of Newman Psychos, I'm here for it. There was even a near miss between Nate and RealDamian, too. I was like grrrr. I loved that the Amy/Audra conversation from last episode about work continued in this one. I was just sorry that Amy started to feel ill. And Amy and that ending...perfect little cliffhanger. Yay!!! Tracy's back! And Diane's got her. I admit that the whole talk between them about changing up the Abbott house felt quite meta. It goes without saying that Y&R has been hit and MOSTLY miss in the past when it comes to new sets and touching up old ones. So good to see them get ahead of it with this talk. With Ed Scott back, I would think what they have planned is going to dazzle, but I still am very cautious just like Jack. I wonder if that Nate/Nikki scene is setting up for something. I really can't figure out if Claire has gone back to Mary Sue or is HE playing layers.
  16. 2-4 OMG!!! It's true!!! Finn IS Luna's father. Just wow for me. He even did a second test it seems like. I don't like it on one hand. On the other hand...well...that does explain why Luna is cray cray. That also said...I can't wait to see SHEILA'S reaction to knowing that she has a granddaughter out there that takes after her? Look at Hope finally being catty to Steffy to her face. Thank God, Zende came in. lol. However, at least there appears to be some movement on the Operation Carter storyline. I know no one likes Daphne, but I find her so camp. And B&B loves to be on the camp.
  17. And that goes back to my discussion this morning with Contessa about that darn block filming and the advantage/disadvantage to it storywise. Because as much as I like them, I agree with you on them being shown infrequently. Same with Lucky and Liz and their side of the Cyrus tale. Here we are approaching the halfway point of the February Sweeps and Cyrus is STILL walking free when Joss is on to him. So are Lucky and Liz. Brennan gave Joss the video of the Dex stabbing while Lucky and Liz have the smoking gun of the doctor notes. And yet...none of that story has come together at all or look like it is climaxing because the characters keep popping up infrequently. Heck, Cyrus vanished for what looked like two weeks himself. It is quite maddening. Awww, but good.
