  1. Oh, no!!! Doug lost the money!!! Oh, wait. He was there at Uptown while Vanessa and Joey are there. Yeah, Derek and Ashley are easily the weakest part of this episode. Oooo Eva vs Silk Press Sheila!
  2. I agree. I found it quite telling that when people got into confrontations with Willow, they were very pointed about how he's manipulating her. At first, I didn't see what they meant, but CM course corrected and I saw it in his performance. Another layer because aren't the best villains the ones who see themselves as the hero in their own story?
  3. Mmmm have I mentioned how much I'm enjoying the renewed build to the anniversary party? OMG!!! The married couple!!! And I see someone got some acting lessons.🤐 Ooooo not Randy ignoring Joey's calls. I like that top on Pamela. Hahaha!!! That montage. Fine, I have been won over to the Dani/Pamela friendship. Hahaha!!! But...I'm rooting for her. But I can't help, but feel like the other shoe is going to drop.
  4. Hehe. I knew you would be doing the Snoopy dance.
  5. Lord...not Eva panicking!!! I am enjoying seeing Dani's POV. Especially since she's coming across mature. I can't help, but wonder though when 'two steps back' when come into play again. Cuz...DANI. lol. Mmmmm nice pants, Randy. Uh oh, Doug. Not moving over Joey's head. But...I guess that would up the stakes. Wow...Silk Press Sheila is losing it. That hair looks good though.
  6. Completely agree. Even when I pop in due to clips or a stray plot point, that has stood out. I love to hate Drew. And that's to Cameron and how he plays it. Going with this direction really has kept that character relevant.
  7. FIX IT JESUS!!! lol.
  8. AMEN, DANI!!! Take control of your life!!! And WELL-PLAYED, CHELS!!! You have heard this all before. And it sounds meta to the audience cuz Dani really is one step forward, two steps back.
  9. Oh, Joey's on today. Hmmmm. Hahaha!!! I knew it would be a near-miss. But this storyline continues to be well-paced. Hahahahaha. I understand. I think for me, I like her when she's in that mode, too, rather than Whiny Hayley. More upfront and confrontational to protect her space in that social circle.
  10. It'sssssss TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!! Yay at us starting with the cliffhanger!!! I am not a fan yet, but I completely agree with everything you say.
  11. I agree. My feelings have been hit and miss when it comes to Hayley. But what keeps me interested (when I'm not laughing at her being mistreated by the country club) has been the fact that she's more observant than I give her credit for. This show is very good at giving their characters nuances, so you don't just hate/love a person. The grays. Ooooo I love that. I was not a big fan of AW, but that triangle's reputation precedes it. And I can totally see that in the Eva/Tomas/Kat triangle. Because on paper, Tomas/Kat do make sense. But in reality, Eva/Tomas really do have a lot more in common.
  12. 4-18 Oh, B&B...lol. I'm not feeling this Liam dying storyline. The way I rolled my eyes as he tried to get out of bed while Bridget and Grace tried to keep him there. And the secrecy. That said...I did enjoy the Friday coda with Steffy finding out about him dying from Finn as Liam danced with Kelly. But I also enjoyed the look on Bridget's face when Steffy talked to Liam about Luna being Finn's daughter. We know I love seeing Li. I just wish SHE had been the one to have a catfight with Sheila. I know, I know...still looking forward to their next catfight. I don't see any reason she's not in this whole mess. Hehe at Sheila and Luna as this scheme team. Overall, the week started strong, but (good coda aside) ended on a whimper.
  13. Now that I have some wiggle room lol...I liked yesterday's episode. For me, it kinda goes back to what I said the week before last. I know that the show has had pacing problems and have been finding its rhythm. That said, I said one of their errors has been to not feature one of their clear A stories. At the time, I said their main stories from Week 1 was Dani/Bill/Hayley, The SilkPress Sheila storyline, and Martin's Secret. Part of the reason that the first few weeks were superb was that you could focus on one A story and litter it with their subplots. Week 1 worked focusing on Dani/Bill/Hayley. Week 2 worked focusing on Nicole and SilkPress Sheila. And from there, weeks have varied. I still liked them, but it has not been the same as the first two weeks. And while I've liked some of the weeks that just focused on the B/C plots, it has not been the same, either. Moreso if it was a B/C plot you don't like *cough*Derek/Ashley/Andre*cough* But knowing they pushed the SilkPress Sheila storyline next story beats back to end of this month and May Sweeps...and that story being the best story with the best pacing...yeah I can see that struggle. They cannot go to the well of Dani/Bill/Hayley again because Dani is overexposed, and Bill/Hayley need a honeymoon phase and to be developed more. Martin's secret apparently is dancing on the backburner. And regardless of how it being there gave time to invest in the characters involved and to BC becoming comfortable in the role, that left a void in major A story. And sadly, that shows. And that is why I liked yesterday's episode. Now that the SilkPress Sheila storyline is about to climax/turn at the anniversary party, it appears to be A story again this week. And everything just clicked. She got the last frame before commercial break (with ominous music I might add). She got the cliffhanger ending. And the episode built throughout through her, giving it a charge/edge that I enjoyed. See what happens when you focus again on one of your main plots with subplots littered about? I actually got annoyed at the Chelesa/Samantha scenes because it was taking away from Sherry Time! lol. Something that I've been complaining about has been my impatience with Anita having a story. So I like since Friday, it does feel like they are slowly building one. I was starting to think that Anita does not want to sing again because perhaps it would not be in her best interest to do so due to a secret of some sort. I still feel that. But the misdirection has been interesting to watch and plausible. After years of not singing, a fine singer would have their own fears about their voice (and Anita was giving Mariah Carey in that regards). Another by-product of this storyline has been a marvelous friction between her and Vernon. I don't want them to break up at all because I love them together, but I do love that it gives more energy and shades to play with. And yes...that song is bop. I love Shady Kat. She was giving it to Hayley and Bill. Loved it. It was so Blair Waldorf coded. Her whole persona actually was in this episode. Just like I felt Brandon Clayborn's acting was intentional and he just needed to get comfortable, I'm starting to think Tomas actor is slllllowly doing the same. Him and Kat look pleasing together. But he has more chemistry with Eva. And personally, I am not sure that I like that he likes hanging around with Eva when he knows Kat don't like her. Hard to root for Kat/Tomas as a couple knowing that. MMmmm Dani and Andre. I guess it was more of the same. But it's nice to see. I like how they lean on each other. Because again, those couples do exist. And I like that Andre agree with the rest of us. Dani would be in her element starting a modeling agency. He also seem ready to come public. A brief uh oh. I did like that Dani appeared to have decided to run with working with Pamela. I was surprised to see her be so indecisive. And I loved her firm no to Chelesa when Chels asked if she would work with her. Rightfully so. Sorry, Chels. The idea was sound, but I would feel it was a step backwards for Chelesa who clearly has some resentment toward her mother from all the years as her momager. And of course, the best for last!!! I cannot believe that it has finally gotten to the build to the anniversary party. Well, it's been simmering a little too much for my liking, but now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, this episode with their parts was good. For weeks, there have been cracks in the SilkPress/Eva duo. So I liked that it has hit surface. Ambyr is doing such a great job showing her conflict in episodes. Within the same scene. And I liked that SilkPress finally truly picked up on it and started to call her out. And clever of her to look in Eva's phone. And not her getting the old supervisor fired...I hollered. And like I said above, I love the camera appeared to be on SilkPress right before break...music, looks, and all. And I love the cliffhanger. It's been a minute since we had a near-miss in that storyline. And I'm sure it will be one. Still...happy to see the anticipation in the storyline back. Speaking of...did I hear Silk Press Sheila, right? Find out who she truly is. Hmmm. If Ted is technically an in-law...was she saying that Eva is a Dupree which would make her Nicole's daughter? Cuz if so...oooooo And...Kat is going to be LIVID.
  14. And like I said and speaking for myself...as long as the person giving opinions are just not being mad at the person who is praising the show (and understand and see that such praise DOES come with criticism) and vice versa...I don't see there being a problem. We all have opinions and whether they line up with others or not should be allowed to voice them. I agree with this. As much as I've mentioned how much I don't like how 'about to fall off the backburner' the Martin's secret storyline has been, I can give credit that where it's due that now when it explodes, we have more of a feel for Martin, Smitty, and the family now that I would be more invested versus if we had gotten to it already.
  15. I miss Allie and like a lot of this idea. I was hoping that she would have had at least a little bit of a struggle to being an Abbott. Heck, what if she had an issue with Diane now that Diane is completely in the fold? I also agree about the repetition. It's part of the reason that I don't mind Victor v Jack at the moment because this round was given a bit of colors. And the round before this round with Jack winning. But I know I'm over the Perils of Kidnapped Sharon. I totally agree with new people. It is why the Damian storyline has worked.
  16. That just looks cute. I like this. Or perhaps the bullying storyline leading to this (an ahole parent) with Martin will lead to our first real reveal of what Martin did...well, total recall to the audience of what he did that is a secret.
  17. No worries. You are in good company. I've been saying that all year so far. I've still shocked it had actual twists and turns in spite of JG haphazardly showing it at some points. Exactly! Especially that fresh part. Hahaha
  18. LMAO Not the Sherry wig!!!
  19. Yeah, I just don't get it at all. Both in ushering her off the canvas (with Ashley) but no Amy/Beth scene at all. It would have been such a way of connecting to the past and a nice treat to long time fans that are still watching. She really is, but it could be my love for leather, but she outshined Sally, Summer, and even my precious Ashley in it. She really brought it and I DEFINITELY noticed. Hehehe. Oh, your dislike of Claire around Holden is always funny. I might have felt a way about the plot twist and I definitely feel a way about him not being the owner of Dumas, but Damian blends in well and has actually be introduced well. I was picking on the Devon thing because out of the two of them...it has been Lily that has been more suspicious than he has so it feels abrupt he is singing her song.
  20. I swear if they do that re: oxi boosts, I will holler and scare my neighbors.
  21. I thought it was cute and you might find it cute. So 😩
  22. In boxers at that. 😜 *gasps* Color me shocked.
  23. LMFAO!!! Can't they just be fun together for a lil bit?
  24. Liking all the Edge of Night comments all the same.
