  1. 1-22 A much better episode for me. I know it's been discussed about how the writers are regressing Cody and how stupidly it was written. But that scene with him with Spinelli irked me even more and a more sharp and abrupt regression. JK really played a menace that I'm not used to him playing...and I liked...but I just don't feel that Cody would do that to Spin now that he's been revealed as Mac's father and he has a nice growing brother/sister relationship with Maxie. The only bright side to it was the potential conflict between Maxie and Spin and thus story. I loved the Isaiah/Jordan and Lucky/Liz scenes. And then Brick, too. hahahahaha. HE was so outclassed by the actor playing Isaiah giving that look he gets when he sees Jordan. And I loved that they were on a date. FINALLY! Hated that Sonny drama pulled Isaiah away...but organically done. Meanwhile well the deja vu I got from the Lucky/Liz scenes because my ex was a bartender so that whole set of scenes rang soooo true. And I loved that Lucky pushed Isaiah off so he could have some time with Liz. hehe. And okay, I'm crushing just a little on scruffy JJ. Darn shirts. lol. Speaking of Lucky...yeah, I would rather see him as a PI. I could see him as a bartender. But will he be like Luke was with Luke's Club with other things going on that keeps him in story...maybe a feud with a new Dark Cody now that Cody punched him. It just seems like Lucky as a bartender...is a CHOICE. Kinda of like Laura's absences now that Lulu is up. I really, really have been enjoying the Tracy/Jason scenes. And the scene with them + Lulu was delicious. I loved how her/Jason were tag-teaming Tracy. And yes...the long game. Get her, Lulu. If anyone can play the long game it is Tracy. Here for it. Reeeeeeeallly liked that Willow continues to show some backbone toward Drew. Because Drew's hovering during the scenes with Jason was annoying AF. And I will always love how the rivalry between Jason and Drew plays into everything they do. It's becoming more and more about him sticking it to Tracy, Jason, and the Qs and less about Willow. He stays giving obsessed. Of course, it also stays giving murder mystery. lol. And I thought the Sasha/Felicia scene was cute as it gave some backstory to Sasha since she appears to still resent Willow reading her a few episodes back so I guess we can expect more Sasha vs Willow scenes. And that's assuming he's not still with the jealous gf. Allegedly. Agree. I definitely feel there's more chemistry between Jane and Alexa and they do come across that way. But I also feel there's more...wit?...to their scenes vs when we get Laura/Lulu scenes and they come across as a plot dump versus genuine scenes...which Tracy/Lulu scenes DO come across as. It does seem like the aforementioned Monday scenes might give me more of what I would expect from Laura/Lulu scenes, but their scenes (not fault of the actresses) have been hit or miss I am afraid to say. And we all know my expectations were high.
  2. 1-24 I'll say this much...people are acting their asses off. lol. I think my highlight was CZ herself. HE had some good moments. And especially CG...as her relief for having Sharon home compounded with her guilt that it could be her fault. She did such a great job. Okay, I liked that the writers used Nick to explain the Sharon plot better. It never occurred to me that the reason Ian/Jordan went after Heather was to have Sharon in jail/the crazyhouse rather than dead so Ian could move in on Mariah. It was a nice angle to the story. And I thought Sharon's reunion with her family was a cute beat to watch. So just to be sure...who actually killed Heather? I was thinking it was Jordan. It seem like it was Ian. Of course, this was all Jordan's words. But it was Jordan's words that revealed she killed Heather. So...??? Ian being involved period...of course means more drama for Mariah and Tessa. Mariah could easily think she's right. However, if the Ian/Jordan flashbacks are to be believed, Ian still has wiggle room to keep Tessa on his side. So much potential for more drama for them, but I'm assuming that with Jordan gone, Ian is on his way out as well. I like the new set but WHY IS BILLY GETTING A SET???? I admit it was a good week. My only disappointment is again that the Daiman storyline has up and vanished. I totally forgot about that beat with Tessa/Daniel. I wouldn't mind seeing that roped in. I too have been enjoying Mariah and Tessa finally getting some drama going on. I think your comments are something @soapfan770 would like to hear. I did catch that on Friday's episode. Such an old school Y&R thing with characters popping up mid-episode again. I think they did that one other thing since Ed Scott has been back. So...one can hope. I was totally surprised to see the Society waitstaff when Mariah and Tessa got into that argument. Love it. Felt more real and definitely gives a different energy. IMHO a better energy. Same. re: Huge Sharon fan. Watching her reunion with her family, I was wondering in the back of my head where they can go with her storyline now. And they still have to play the beat of her and Nick telling Daniel what really happened. Will he let it go? Is Sharon completely in the clear? HE really did. That was one thing I liked about Friday was that she kept coming in and out of it. Not as good as the last few episodes, but noticably. I do hope she keeps that edge. Yes!!! That Thursday coda of her plans crashing all around her...that brief moment when CZ let it all show on Jordan's face...was so well done and superb. For all her craziness and cunning, for that brief moment...she was human. And shattered.
  3. 1-24 I know I'm in the minority, but I like the soapiness of Daphne Rose. From her name to her slight snobbiness/fake accent to how she carries herself. And that she's in this manipulation plot. I do wonder if she and Steffy will actually pull it off to break up Hope and Carter. I'm probably going to be in the minority again with the Li mess. I just love her overdramatic ass. lol. I guess Brad had to get her and Poppy's episode guarantee up. I didn't mind it. And hopefully, that means she and Poppy really will come to a mending of the fences. That said...shame that was basically a filler storyline for the week. Luna and Bill bonding? Uh oh...
  4. Lol. I believe it. I remember Aremid back in the day. No way they can pull that off on their current budget.
  5. Thank you. I only saw it in passing getting ready for work so did not know all the details. But good if she is going to take accountability.
  6. Yeah, I saw it in passing and just smh.
  7. I know we have seen the Chancellor set within the last month or two. Like a lot of the other sets, it had been extended out, giving the illusion of more space. And there was an interesting camera angle of the doorway. I want to say it was an Devon/Abby scene with Ashley (?) right before the wedding.
  8. RHOP So La Dame's sentencing got pushed to next month. Meanwhile it was reported this morning that she fired her lawyers and seem to be trying for an appeal of some sort.
  9. Very much so. There's so much they can do with Laura. Especially right now.
  10. Spite toward Genie would not be surprising unfortunately.
  11. 1-23 I don't think I've seen a psycho say Nikki's name with such spite since the days of Veronica. lol. CZ has been playing this to the hilt. Making up for Claire doing such a fumble at the end of the last episode. Yaasss for them playing this beat with Mariah/Tessa. I was feeling that Tessa would bring up the fact that they aren't saints, either. Given I remember when Tessa came on. Not to mention Mariah's history. Such an organic conflict for them. And about time they had some story. Not helped by Ian's clear obsession with all things Mariah. The potential for so many angles with this part of the Sharon storyline. OH...so was that why Ian/Jordan did all this to Sharon? I guess that could be plausible in terms of Heather's murder if Ian really wanted Sharon out of the way so he could obsess over Mariah. But I was thinking Jordan killed Heather. Hmmm. And two for two on episodes ending good. 1-22 with Claire's fumble. And showdown with Jordan this episode and Sharon found. I am going to miss Victor vs Jordan though because she really gave no fraks about him. And CZ with the tears...for one moment, Jordan was human.
  12. I'm playing catch-up and agree cuz her little ponytail on the episode I saw looked cute. I just don't like the propping for Natalia. Hehe at the Brendabot comment. I agree as well. But I've mentioned this especially in regards to Carly and Brennan. Does she even realize and have verbalize to Brennan that she knows he's the one who got her crime to just vanish into the ether? Has he actually told her? One, the other, or both would naturally bring them together. But instead, we get hees, haws, slapsticky situations, but no talks when they had two dinners where they could have put it all on the table. They are long overdue for becoming a couple. They even have his henchwoman...not to mention Sonny AND Sidwell...as potential spoilers before sleeping together.
  13. 1-22 Okay...that was good. Claire playing Jordan. They should keep Claire like THIS. I thought HE did a good job with the psycho looks, shifting back into how Claire was when she was introduced. I just hated that she didn't go through with it at the end with the poisoned tea. She played Jordan like a fiddle, and I enjoyed every minute of that. I was surprised to see the tackhouse. And Ed Scott's influence was on display with the widened space just like everything else since his return. I also liked the moment when Nikki, Victoria, and Claire left the ranch and the camera panned to Victor on the stairs. Well done. Meanwhile, Chance and Nick realizing that Jordan is Ian's co-planner. And then telling Victor. That climax is heading.
  14. OMG!! They brought back the Lady in White and Aremid???
  15. Sutton as the villain. Erika actually surprised? I might rush my suggested binge sooner than expected. ETA: NY OH???
  16. 1-21 Lord. I knew it was too good to last. I didn't mind the episode screaming plot, plot, plot movement, plot. But clearly, Tracy can't stay steely or cunning for tooo long. Waka, waka indeed. Tracy with her fingers in her ears. Martin and Tracy being silly in their arguments. Anna being useless but having time to play wacky Spy v Spy stuff with Brennan. Maxie on Natalia Propping duty (though I loved ELR's hair). Sidwell still walking around without running into anyone he almost had killed last year. Oh, how my eyes rolled. Thankfully, there were some nice nuggets in the episode. Michael's exit. I don't know if it's forever or for now...but there was a nice bit of drama there. I even laughed at Kristina's snark. It's been a minute since I've liked anything Kristina so I'll take it. I'm itching for Carly to really get on the loose to give Drew and Willow Hades so her continuing tension with Willow and finding any and all ways to talk crap about her to anyone within earshot...INCLUDING WILLOW...was hilarious to me. And Drew has truly grown to be the person I love to hate with his prick self. And finally, a hint of backbone toward Drew from Willow. If I was disappointed about anything, it was the fact that Michael's exit really was not about him so much as moving the pieces around...like the Michael/Sasha baby secret and Michael trying to tell Carly. You know...plot. And I just feel if Korte was in charge of the episode for the day, there might have been more emotional resonance. I completely forgot about the Avery custody case storyline and what led to Kristina flying out that window so what started off as silly Ava/Alexis scenes with some Kristina involved turned into something more intriguing. Cuz duh...Ava just bested Kristina in court. Which means she can STILL have her testify. And with the drama between Ava and Alexis over the Cassadine money, another layer of intrigue has been added. And I loved the Kristina namesake shoutout. I was so hoping that Jason had the kids so disappointed. Though I'm always here for Jason vs Drew. Maura West knows she can rock some leather pants. Die, Sonny, die!!!
  17. That was how I felt as well as a kid who stumbled onto the show on late night BET. I saw scenes here and there and you could tell they hated each other any time I saw them together and figuring out the history between the two. So when IT happened...lord...I remember staying up to see that episode the very next night. And I've never seen anything like it before and with black women so I was in awe. IKR. That was superb. Cool!!! Get those eyeprints.
  18. BH MIDSEASON TRAILER!!!!
  19. SLC I would say a solid Part 1 to the reunion. I would say the MVP for me so far was Mary. Not because she had a lot to do. She was literally giving the reactions that I was giving while watching. From Lisa's antics to Heather's continued mean girl acting, she was me. She also had the best dress...as did Bob. I LOVED their dresses. I also loved how everyone kept catching strays when they were not even the topic of conversation. lol. Part 1 was basically focused on the status of Bob and Lisa's friendship. Or more like the end of it since I don't see how they can come back from this. Lisa (and Heather) is exactly what Mary said that she was. She has known Bob for 20 years and never saw her as a friend at all apparently. Worse, she sided more with the hidden family of Bob's babydaddy. And to add on, the reveal of unseen footage revealed it all. Because whether she had a heads-up or not, Lisa was rightly clocked that being in the spotlight for 4 years (and counting), she should have at least been self-aware enough to maybe not repeat anything scandalous to the free world on the after show. But what do you expect of the lady who trashed her BFF re: Meredith back in Season 2? It was Operation Attack Bob from go. From the moment she walked out on stage in that red dress Dumb and Dumber...I mean Lisa and Heather were acting like Mean Girls toward her. I found it distasteful. The ambush of the jewelry...thankfully Angie K and Mary swoop in and had Bob's back. Heather with the catty remarks. Lisa with the Nene Leakesque technique of trying to overtalk anyone trying to outtalk her like in the case of the UpAndAdam info with Little Girl. They were horrible this part. It was sad to see Bob realize in real time that Lisa IS NOT her friend. I did like she got some good licks in on her though and that her hubby showed AND had her back. LISA. Disgusting. Seriously. Easily. She was being overdramatic and nasty. So all that talk about Little Girl outing she was behind the rumor that started the Meredith vs Little Girl feud early in the season. All that money for cybertechs and they found nothing to prove Little Girl wrong, did they? With Production doing a rollback on the UpAndAdam phone call that was shown on the show, I thought it was funny how she moved on. And the fact that she came to this reunion to destroy her friend was smh. At least Bob took accountability for her own actions in the last set of episodes at the reunion and showed she really saw Lisa as a friend. But not only did Lisa get caught on camera talking about Bob's tea (a miscarriage is a no-no), but she could not even give an apology?? (Mary's look said it all) Not even for how it could have hurt Gwen. When Lisa did that and said she did not give a [!@#$%^&*] about Bob OR HER DAUGHTER, I literally said [!@#$%^&*] YOU at my television. I could understand Bob...who she hung out to dry as a 'social friend' (something she could have told Bob 20 years ago!), but dissing her child when she knew the nature of the relationship between that family is low vibrational [!@#$%^&*] and what I would expect from someone who owns being shallow like it is a good human quality. Perhaps it is because of how kids are a trigger for me, but [!@#$%^&*] that bitch. If Bob comes back next season, I am going to need her to tear Lisa apart. HEATHER. PIECE OF [!@#$%^&*]. Nothing relevant. Was just there to be Gretchen to Lisa's Regina. So Mary's text fell on deaf ears. I will treat her online during my viewing accordingly. Trashbox. MEREDITH. Mute. Actually. ANGIE K. Outside of the fact she has the hottest husband (love that goatee), she did not do anything much, but save Bob from the Mean Girl ambush this part. LITTLE GIRL. Smh. I wanted S5 Open Whit at the start, but alas. She did get her section, but her fumbling for words to explain the Meredith feud was giving ShebySheree RHOA S4 reunion explaining Chateau Thelma. Oh, and I love the Monica shoutout. See? Not even at the reunion and STILL talked about. MARY. MVP. She knew those Mean Girls were on their mess. And her looks gave it beautifully. I think for me the highlight was the look she gave Lisa when Lisa called Bob a social friend. She saw how much that hurt Bob to hear. And it was very 'if looks could kill...' And these ladies wondered back in the first couple of seasons why she kept them at arms' length. Now you know. I was just glad she helped with the dismissing of the jeweler for the Bob ambush. And if there is one thing I can count on Mary for it will always be a backhanded compliment in Heather's direction. BOB. Lord, girl. Not a good start, but solid. It seem clear she had no idea that Lisa was going to throw her under the bus, but she recovered nicely. And I liked she stayed calm and articulate even when those mean girls tried to go low. And most importantly, she stayed focused on the real target: LISA when others tried to chime in. And the reveal of her asking Production to cut out the miscarriage tea...and they LISTENED for Gwen's sake...only for it to come out in the After Show from Lisa's lips...was WOW. And Lisa's lack of self-awareness. Bob was right to clock her for that. Moreso cuz Bob STILL had the moral high ground due to her taking accountability for how distasteful she was over the last set of episodes and yes...it was all about being Lisa's friend. But Lisa puts herself (and the show) above such things. A sad lesson for her to learn, but to paraphrase Games of Thrones...I suspect Bob will learn. And YAS for Bob's Hubby coming out and going in on Lisa AND John. Her hubby's whole thoroughline the whole season was that he does not play about Gwen. I had no problem with him going (calmly) off on that famewhore. Again a solid Part 1. I am only saddened Part 2 looks like filler. I agree. I feel like I could have sat down anything to write about it, but instead, I just sat and thought. There are still quite a few moments that stick in my own head from the finale. I could almost rewatch. You picked up on that as well re: Raquel. I also felt like a lot of what she said, what she felt, what she talked about was from personal experience as well which is why she was quick to believe Brynn. Hehe. I can't unsee that now! And that post is such a Kyle thing to do, too. Erin had to know the backlash her BFF was getting so she had to pivot with the quickness. And good buzz...not like the buzz from the prank episode, too. Because what happens next. People want to know.
  20. LOL. The Generations flashback you just gave me. Oooo
