  1. THIS. Well since CBS doesn't want to post any new episodes outside of on the app and I ain't app-ing anytime before tomorrow...well...*shrugs* I do appreciate that it has been mentioned in the dialogue with a specific time on the show though so thank you. I agree with you as well. While I do want movement, I don't think the show can handle major movement all at the same time. Perhaps if the plasma storyline climaxed one week and cotillion the following week, with Hayley exposed the last week of May, but I still think that would be too much and feel like how B&B would get when they wrote a story so slow when it climaxed it felt like whiplash.
  2. Same. Lol. Oh, you.
  3. As a great singer said...does anybody want some ice cream?
  4. Anywho... Are you calling for the bullseye that missed Ava and then Drew to land on Britt and you think it won't miss her too if Jason gets back quite enough?
  5. Lol. But you rock in the minority on this thread though. And no one is calling you lint. ;)
  6. As the great character Drucilla Winters said...LINT. Anywhos... And as a great reality tv star once said...speak on it.
  7. Even if I would have felt that it was rushed...I agree about February for the cotillion. Then perhaps this plasma storyline could have gotten more meat. I would have loved more Donnell and Deanna though I do like Ty and Sam. It's just sad how under-developed they have become after both having nice small teen stories to start off with. And THAT'S another thing. The plasma storyline might (big MIGHT) have worked better if it was going on at the free clinic. Which of course means an ACTUAL SET. I could see that completely. I don't feel Derek outside of the undercover part of the story is too bad. He is still in the story. NOW if there was a set for the story...then yeah it would be more glaring. I thought it was just an attempt to capitalize on the Jacob/Smitty team-up that worked so well last year as well as give Jacob a good guy story and Jacob/Naomi some much-needed conflict. Now if Derek dies now that BG is off contract, you know I hope I'm right about Tomas and AA.
  8. Well, Frank gotta Frank.
  9. And we know it's a miracle that we are rooting for her at that. It took 84 years...lol.
  10. Well, I finally made it through the weeks of half week episodes. And just...meh for me. I will stand by what I said about the plasma storyline. I don't at all like it. AT ALL. I however do like and continue to like the various pieces that are sure to play off from the storyline once it's over. The impact on Martin/Smitty and Grayson/Ashley was what was mostly on my mind. Not to mention the tension between Grayson and Jacob since Jacob is very against Ashley/Grayson. Add on how Naomi and Ashley are BFF...that looks to be messy once the storyline is over. And given the issues that Martin and Smitty had in the first year over secrets, it was great to see the shoe on the other foot with Smitty being the one with a secret. When it comes out, that will lead to trouble for him and Martin and they are overdue some drama this year. Lia is definitely a good villainess and I had liked how they have organically revealed things about her. I had hoped she was the elusive Amanda Lewis, but that appears to be wrong for now. All of these interesting parts, but the storyline is just not interesting as a whole. That it's the main B story over the more interesting (IMHO) cotillion storyline is only reminding me of how last year they put the June B story as a focus over the more developed B story of Doug/Vanessa/Joey to just as mixed results. And I almost forgot, but Joey entering the plasma storyline as an offshoot of the Martin owing Joey a favor due to Kat and the Chels's kidnapping was surprisingly unexpected, but a good way to keep that plot thread (and Martin's Secret) simmering a little closer to the front burner...especially given the forthcoming crossover that is coming up. I was here the other day and saw the comments about Andre, Bill, and the investigation and commented. But that was before I saw the Dani/Andre scenes. I didn't mind the fantasy scenes though I'm ready for both of them to have more story meat to chew on. So given how the fantasy scenes started and the dialogue...don't tell me they are about to circle back to that plot thread with all the 'spy' talk. Not saying Andre is a spy, but a spy by their nature is a person with secrets so...hmmmm. And TeamKat over here. They could never make me hate her. And she had me hollering as she very quickly put a pulse...not only in the plasma storyline, but in the Hayley storyline as well. I loved every minute of her gathering Bill, but I love Bill/Kat scenes in general and have loved the increase in them. Kat stays giving black Veronica Mars and Colby looks great doing so. If they are not going to play the rivalry between her and Eva, at least they are playing up other parts of Kat...her amateur detective skills and how intelligent she is is something that I don't mind seeing. Also...it moves the other plots which have been needed to be moved. I love her more in the Hayley storyline than the plasma storyline, but I really love that her involvement is forcing those stories to move after being stalled since February. She can stay the 'force multipler' (HW fans know) all she wants. My love of Ted/Shanice continues to drop. I'm sorry, but the Shanice we were introduced to...professional or not...would have snatched Silk Press Sheila up by now. And them having Shanice act like a late 80s/early 90s soap heroine that is scared of her and meek in scenes where she catches her around Ted is not it. And Ted going back to being straight man or just stupid period does not work for me. Nor does Nicole starting to daydream about him. It is plausible. And quite a few of you made mention in the past about Nicole was just spinning out with Carlton and Kial and eventually her mind would land back on her 30 year marriage. So not surprising. On the anniversary to boot. Nicole just deserves better than Ted. And hahahahahhaah at the information that Carlton barely missed Nicole due to Ted's antics. Which means that yes, Carlton actually did see her first. Makes all of their interactions to date take on a whole new light. As those were the main stories in the past two half weeks, all I have to say is...when is cotillion? Cuz the struggle is real. PS. Unless CBS is dropping both episodes later today, I see I will be app watching at some point which means I'll get to this week at a later (and hopefully free time) date.
  11. How I feel about reading synopsis for the day so I feel that. HUGS THIS.
  12. Payback for Wagger.
  13. YAS, QUEEN!!! That said...how did I not know when her birthday was. Just another reason for me to love her and I loved her already.
  14. That's what I want to know. Because every time I've mentioned it, it does feel like the first dropped storyline on the show versus a storyline that will pop back up...which always have a hint of about to come back around in dialogue.
  15. Fingers crossed. The best Ava is the one with money and power. Tamara was not my first Carly, but she is the one I loved most just off the little I've seen with her. And she sold it to me with her 'Brenda' speech to Sam in the elevator. No lies told. And every time I've seen her in fights I believe in how ferocious she is which is not unlike SJB Carly to me. And I loathed SJB Carly. Still Carly, but oh so different at the same time. I stay shocked at how Sonny has not taken care of Sidwell yet. This is the man who put AJ on a freezer hook after all.
  16. Or it could be trick to disarm. Hehe. My bad.
  17. I remember being on pins and needles with that scene as a teenager. As I usually am with Heather Tom's Victoria. And even better was the fact we are viewers got to watch Tricia's spiral for YEARS. Hard to believe she went from being Ryan's boring wife to this force of nature. But Y&R was so good at showing how a person can gradually change over time, giving layers and storyline. Still mad she accidentally killed Tony, ending Megan and Tony who I actually liked back then. Sabyn Genet really did play it to perfection.
  18. They really did. Matt Clark before the current bad writing. Tricia. Even Veronica 'That bitca Nikki' the Maid.
  19. Yeah if I remember correctly, Sabryn got some kind of condition which is part of the reason she never acted on another soap. ETA: I wanted to add it was a surgery gone wrong if I remember correctly.
  20. I am still in awe at how it has gone from background noise this year to genuine enjoyment. From Taylor/Deacon/Sheila to Ms. That's-Not-Proper's antics influencing the young set (and the fact B&B has a young set to spotlight) to a slow return to the show having dueling fashion houses, it really has been enjoyable. And it still builds up its plot nicely. After all Taylor/Deacon/Sheila started as a C plot. As did 'the Letter.' Both got building tension, climax, and turns. And now the reveal this past week is about to spotlight some of the other characters that have been in the background. The show has momentum and has been almost effortless in how they rotate between their two main plots. And even if it is focused on one, they usually introduced a second storyline by mid-week so the audience does not get too bored. I don't know what Brad Bell has been doing, but I hope he keeps doing what he's doing.
  21. What I am praying and hoping for.
  22. Ssssh. We don't mention her. lol. But seriously I understand. I realized I forgot about Caleb.
  23. And they were the best part of the week, too. A shame.
  24. No need to argue that. We are in full agreement. Cuz Easton's second character is Number 3 on his list of characters with me. I've always more or less liked John from OLTL and I had times when I actually liked Finn...especially his exit storyline.
