  1. Rafe and EJ sharing the same piece of bacon was disturbing. Also, and I realize this is extremely petty of me, but Kristen never having her nails done always bothers me. Though I would argue, small touches like that constantly being missed are a reasonable problem all their own. I hate that the old white bitch is seemingly the real Rachel Blake. EJ is a great bastard though and I genuinely love to hate him.
  2. The short time I watched was wonderful, but I let it go because it got too difficult to keep up with and constantly had to find new places for episodes. I know it's down to three episodes, but I'm currently watching classic EE (in Jan 1995), DAYS, and will be watching Beyond the Gates so that is as much time as I can lend to the soaps, unfortunately. But I'm always happy when you and others post updates and thoughts about the show. I thought the renewal ended Sept. 2025? I always mess that up for some reason. Thx.
  3. Until we know otherwise, 2025 is going to be the year of, will Neighbours/Hollyoaks/Days of our Lives/The Bold and the Beautiful be cancelled? We shall see.
  4. Kudos to Warner Bros. for doing this! https://variety.com/2025/digital/news/warner-bros-free-movies-youtube-streaming-1236298880/
  5. A DS article said it wouldn't be for every episode, just some.
  6. I don't know how many times, but I do know Grant was the first to light up the joint. The legend!
  7. I thought James Reynolds was clearly trying his best to ground the inane Whitley King scenes. That's about the only positive I can come up with for Wednesday's episode. Thursday's was back to actually being entertaining. I've had my issues with Linsey Godfrey before, but I can admit she is a good actress when need be, unlike generic Abigail Klein, who is the white bread of all white bread actors. Of all the characters on the show, she needs to be recast the most. @AbcNbc247 you're right that Xander/Sarah/Philip/Stephanie/Alex/Joy could be really good though. I could even see a Philip/Sarah affair happen at some point. Xander goes too far with the DiMera takeover, Philip's mental health starts to decline again, and Sarah being a doctor would find herself being sympathetic to him... Meanwhile, I would love if somehow Joy starts to play with Alex and Stephanie and when Alex finds out Stephanie knows about the letter, Joy uses the betrayal to seduce him, only to turn around and humiliate both him and Stephanie for revenge. Stephanie's mental state would take a hit again too, leading her back to Philip ... who struggles not only with his own mental health, but his once confident feelings for Stephanie, his doubts that her feelings for him are genuine and the newfound relationship he's forming with Sarah. Of course, I also think it's a perfect time to have Stephanie be pregnant with Philip's baby and have that help make everything even messier. I'm sure it's not the same mattress Tom and Alice died in. That's insane. No one, if they have the means, keeps the same mattress for decades. Most people know to get a new one at least every 10 years.
  8. Always happy when you let us know about new treasures being found. Thank you.
  9. Also, forgot to add, this episode made me fear what dumb shite RC is going to come up with for his last April Fool's episode. We should brace ourselves.
  10. Worse, he's a loser gay baiter.
  11. I think RSW and Abigail Klein have decent chemistry and at this point narratively their characters have to be together properly so it doesn't feel like there's unfinished business if either of them ever do move on, but fundamentally I'll always find it so creepy that they ever got together in the first place. Yeah, they're not biologically related, but they have been family their entire lives. It's weird. This better be the catalyst to making Joy more of a vixen. She and the show needs this. Another example where something serious is happening, and Leo just looks like a dolt. He would be a smidge more tolerable if actually acted like a human being in these kinds of moments. Other than that Leo scene, all the characters fainting and Abe believing he figured out who is targeting the show did come off sort of exciting to me.
  12. Galen Gering has never been a good dramatic actor, though I legitimately rate him when it comes to comedy, and today was no exception. There were times I thought Gering was losing himself in just being Rafe, but he did do enough to show the audience Arnold was just playing the part. Elia Cantu did her best to overcome the stodgy material. She's been one of the bright spots since my return as a regular viewer. Her and Raven Bowens would thrive on a show that knew how to better showcase their talent. I also thought Al Calderon could have been so much better and the whole reveal itself if horrible Leo/Greg Rikaart wasn't around tanking the climax of the story by making everything seem so superfluous. Jackée Harry needs to do her reputation a favour and quit (maybe I'm being selfish) cause she is constantly horrible and isn't much better than Rikaart's awfulness. Does anyone know when returns? I wonder (and hope) she'll be around to catch out Arnold and EJ. It would put her in the perfect anti-heroine spot she deserves.
  13. Anyone else going to (try their best) to go spoiler free?
  14. As soon as that best friend tripe began, I skipped their remaining scenes. It also made me miss the Marlena/Maggie friendship.
  15. Okay, I'm glad it was just temporary and am happy he's getting these fashion chances. These days actors have to do show much more than just act to have a successful and flourishing career.
  16. How long has he had the silver tooth? All I think about is Joe Pesci in Home Alone. Still love him though.
  17. Ya'll don't even know if Chavez and Ali are even friends like that, not to mention he was literally in Paris as early as a couple days ago.
  18. All these mangia cake Caucasians butchering the pronunciation of nonno makes me want to die, as did the embarrassing moment when Paulina mentioned she used to hook up with 50 Cent. No. Absolutely not. Looking on the brightside, TPTB could have easily had Javi bring Leo along, so small mercies and all that.
  19. Same here. I would happily write that Judith Chapman's character stole Diana's identity for the Colville fortune and she admits this to Leo when she learns she's dying. This has Leo leave Salem in search of Diana, who may or may not still be alive. Him leaving mysteriously just like she did in decades past.
  20. Demi Moore is who I'm rooting for the most, though I wouldn't mind if Mikey Madison or Fernanda Torres snagged it. Lead Actress is really the only interesting category this year. Emilia Perez is rightfully already known as one of the worst movies to be so successful at awards season. At least they spared us a Selena Gomez nomination. Isabella Rossellini winning would be amazing to see. Who doesn't love her?
  21. Congratulations to Lesley-Anne Down for being nominated for Worst Supporting Actress for Reagan, playing Margaret Thatcher, for the 2025 Razzie Awards. What an honour!
  22. I would have been cheering if Bonnie had died. Though I will say kudos to the make-up team, because Bonnie looked real messed up. It was good to see Justin, too. I can't agree that Kerry had any potential either. The actor has no charisma whatsoever, and barely seems to be much of an actor tbh. Abigail Klein is the blandest actor on the show. Stephanie could be much more interesting and easily given more layers and nuances if the actress wasn't the definition of generic. On opposite sides of that coin, I really enjoy Elia Cantu and her projective MorningNews voice. She deserves to be so much more than she is on this show. I see they are now building up Philip to lose his mind again. He's been a breath of fresh air and one of the best things about the show. JPL is engrossing when he chooses to playing things straight and is good at showing the complexity of Philip, so it'll be really sad for me to see him start to spiral. The DiMera takeover plan is so tired to me. I just hope whatever they have him do this time, they don't go too far from redemption, especially in contrast to all of Xander's evil deeds.
  23. To sum up, the gays all suck, and not in the fun way. To pivot, for Paula Cwikly it'll be over 22 years since she was last headwriter. Is that the longest time between stints for a headwriter returning to front the same show again?
  24. But shouldn't that be on the family to publish any details? The site I was on even had his exact time of death. It's just strange that anyone in the world can access this information. Wouldn't suicide even be enough anyway? There's no need for anyone to know what form, that's just ruthlessly macabre.
  25. I saw how he died yesterday, but wasn't sure if it was appropriate to mention how he died. Why does LA have a site where they publicize in detail how civilians pass away? It seems unnecessary for it to be so easily accessible. Either way, he seemed so full of life and had a glow up since his time on DAYS. You really never know what something is going through. R.I.P.
