Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
If I were them, I'd keep Stephanie, Kameron, Brandi and D'Andra and add three new wives. Honestly, I'd even be open to four new wives and Brandi as a friend if casting goes well. Dallas needs to come back with the excitement that Miami came back with in season 2. I want it to feel refreshed and new. I'm hoping they can turn things around.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
IIRC, Ming-Na is a series regular on season two of the Mandalorian so that could be why she's under-utilized because her story kicks in next season. I could be wrong though, I haven't started watching this yet so I'm not sure what they did with her character.

Between Andy's obvious disappointment and the fact that someone at the reunion is bringing up Leanne saying "f*ggot" several times during filming, I think she's done. If they find the footage of her saying that and add it she's toast. It's just too much to overcome. Plus the ratings for this show are so low it's lucky not to be canceled. I'm fully expecting a full reboot next season and if that doesn't work Dallas is done. They seem to be heavily casting and from what I've seen on Twitter there are four people they're currently doing test filming with. You don't do that if you're just looking for one housewife. Hell, even if Leanne hadn't done this they still needed a reboot so her job was never safe. I do wonder if Kary will be spared due to this drama surrounding her.

Everybody knows RHOD has been casting for a couple months now. A radio host who once interviewed Trump, filmed a test confessional today. She’s also friends with D’Andra and a Claudia Jordan (who has stated she’s open to appearing). Hmmm.

The new hw does seem kinda eh. You can tell they were casting filler because they expected Bethenny to return and dominate the narrative. I highly doubt this is the cast we would’ve had if Bethenny gave them notice. Hell, they probably wouldn’t have even given Leah and Apple had Bethenny stayed. @Gray Bunny NYC went to Cancun.

@Cat Very good point! This could be damage control or misleading if true. We still don’t have a believable reason for Denise’s distance. It’s possible she has a legit reason or that the others are leaving something important out. We won’t know until it premieres though because Denise doesn’t talk to the press. Now with RHONY and Tinsley quitting and not going on the cast trip, what would y’all do? Keep her full time? I’d make her a Friend as punishment and try to edit her down and focus more on the other girls. They should’ve just made Jill a full time cast member. Clearly the two newbies testing didn’t work out because they aren’t on the cast trip and neither is Jill. They had some bad luck with Bethenny and Tinsley quitting with no notice. I’m going to go easy on them next season.

Yes I guess it does make sense that it’s her, but I don’t believe the media story that she’s so busy filming B&B that she’s missing events. B&B to my knowledge only films 4 days a week. I highly doubt that is what is holding her back which suggests it’s something worse.

RHOBH news: Looks like Brandi is filming more than we thought and according to that one housewife is fighting so bad with the cast she stopped filming and Brandi doesn’t see her returning. The hypocrisy of ANY of them to do this after the hell they have LVP for doing the same thing last year. Very curious who it could be though.

What!!! She left and wasn't fired and is currently promoting her OWN show, but they feel she's the reason they have bad press?! They just don't get it. This is truly insane.

How does Nunes not remember someone he talked to MULTIPLE times, including an 8 minute call? He gotta come up with a better story than that.

The Politics Thread
It's on purpose. Republicans know that the easier it is to vote the smaller their chances are. Some major states don't even have early voting. Not to mention the rigged machines. I think it was here where I saw a recent article about voting machines showing a Democrat received ZERO votes so they did a recount of paper ballots and the Democrats actually won that race. As for Senator Harris, the more I think about it and how sudden this is, I can't help but wonder if she cut a deal with Joe Biden for VP. Pete doing well in Iowa/NH will hurt Warren and Bernie who are already gonna split votes. Then as they go to more diverse states Biden will do well. If Kamala stayed in and took a good chunk of the black vote from Biden we could end up at the convention with a free for all. By her dropping out now, he doesn't have to worry about anybody splitting the black vote for him and he could pull out a win. That's just a theory, but I could see it happening. Her exit days after saying she exceeded her fundraising goal by 12% is just odd. She had too much momentum. There had to be another way *unless* a deal was cut. Another way Biden could've sweetened the deal is by telling her he'd only do one term.

Honestly that is shocking to me considering she already qualified for the next debate and may have seen yet another bump from that. Still, I respect that she got out early and didn't string anybody along. To me this is devastating. This is the second black woman to run to my knowledge and the media didn't treat her campaign with the historic respect it deserved. They beat her down at every turn for ANYTHING. First "flip flopping" on healthcare when in reality she hasn't formulated a plan previously. Now Elizabeth Warren has copied her plan but nobody says she's flip flopping. Biden and Sanders are both having money issues and laying off people and closing offices, but it's only front page news for Kamala. She had to be ten times as good as anybody to get decent coverage. It's racist and a shame. And she was still doing well, but probably realized she couldn't compete with unrealistic expectations of a black woman running for president. Now I will just be showing up in November. I have no desire to actively support anybody running. Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden are the best shot and Trump will easily eat both of them up with the media's help. I'm sickened by the media now saying how devastated they are that Kamala dropped out when they made this so.

Kamala has been having a turnaround lately from social media buzz based on her new ad, to speeches and debate performance. Now I notice the media is starting to pay attention to the campaign against her. Over thanksgiving weekend I think there were like three hit pieces against her saying she needs to drop out. Michael Bloomberg also hired a staffer from her campaign at $400,000 and she contributed to the NY Times hit piece against Kamala. I find it so odd both billionaires (Steyer stealing her data) have targeted her considering she's in 5th place. Why is everybody attacking someone who they claim has done such a horrible job and has no chance of winning? I strongly believe their intel on the ground shows that she's doing much better than polling suggests. Also, if Mayor Pete does win Iowa and NH, then it'll hurt Bernie and Warren's chances of winning and boost Biden/Harris prospects. If she keeps doing well and Biden collapses then Harris gets those votes which is why they need her to drop out as soon as possible.

Y&R: Old Articles
I wanted Lauren with Jack which I think would be amazing, but reuniting her with Paul could work if she were written with more bite like before. Also, when did HE become a saint?! Having recently watched the available episodes from 88-92, he was sexy and tough not the saint he is now. I also feel Christine is a wasted heroine stuck in her worst pairing. I'd love to see Christine with Nick or anybody more youthful. After all of her suffering she deserves a child as well. It's just weird she was so vital and is now just stuck with Paul for no reason.

Y&R: Old Articles
It's a shame Lily got lost in such a full supercouple. I've always hated supercouples and the shipping of couples in general. I could never understand watching edits of specific couples. For me I need the entire show and some of my favorite relationships are either friends or relatives. Also, Y&R trained me not to be stuck on one couple. Look how many years Victor and Nikki split up and they were huge. I also feel Lily and Daniel made more sense anyway. Even if you have to recast Lily, I'd try to bring back Michael Grazaidei and repair them. They could even bring Heather back with Daniel. She could give Paul something to do and also he a fresh love interest for Adam without the baggage.

Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
@pdm1974 I found a pretty comprehensive fan site I've been reading and it definitely seems in it's short years it had it's ups and downs, but it seems when they show was good it was GOOD which I think accounts for how well remembered it is. When you compare it to another short lived 80s soap like Capitol, that show had potential but I don't know that they ever had a substantial period that was truly great. That's probably why it was so easy to get rid of it for B&B despite good ratings. Right now I'm about 3 weeks in. I've now met Cruz, I see Renee Jones has a small part as Kelly's best friend and I've met Warren who I remember from 24. I still find it enjoyable, but I see why they needed to do a reset in a few months. I think the show is fine but there are missing pieces the show could fill. I know Eden is still waiting in the wings and will be a major character, same for Lionel so I look forward to their arrives. So far my favorite character is Santana. The actress who plays her is GORGEOUS and I love the way she is styled and portrayed. You can tell she built herself up to what she is and she's scrappy. I find it hard to understand how this actress didn't stay longer. If I didn't know any better I'd assume the character never left whether she was recast or not. I read an interview with the actress she she spoke of how she hated when they made her dye her hair black so she'd look more Mexican. That's a shame because she looks beautiful the way she is. So far I'm waiting to see what is so special about Kelly. I know she was a hugely popular character, but this story with Joe Perkins and her bland fiance is putting me to sleep. Robin Wright is great, but I need to see her in a different storyline. I still love the original CC and must admit I'm not looking forward to his exit. Mason is kinda just there thus far, but the actor is good. Another huge standout for me is Louise Sorel as Augusta. She's another really well dressed and well conceived character. She commands every scene she's in and has chemistry with everyone. I like what I've seen of Minx, but it hasn't been much and Santana's mom is also a strong actress.

I've never seen even a clip of this show, but I was bored and looked in here and saw episodes posted and am going to try to follow along from the beginning! I have read that it didn't start off great, when did it improve? Granted I'm just turning on episode two, but I don't really have any complaints so far. The cast seems good and the show looks fantastic. Of course it's week one so I expect them to bring out their big guns, but this looks like it has potential! I also know there are tons of recasts and actors I'm familiar with on here like Terry Lester, Eileen Davidson (did they appear together?), Lane Davies, Tricia Cast, Robin Wright and so many others. Based on this first episode I'm excited to finally see this. I know this has a VERY loyal fanbase. I hope I can become a part of it!

Lmao @Cat you are so right about Beverly Hills always choosing the most trivial things to get up in arms about. Rumor has it that Sutton and Erika are feuding. Don't even wanna guess what that's about. In other news, Camille, Shannon Beador and KIM RICHARDS went to a gala for Vanderpump Dogs. I found Kim's inclusion to be surprising. Sadly I don't think it was filmed. Poor Kim better hope Kyle doesn't choke her out for going lol.

If Denise is really a target, I wonder if he substance abuse issues will pop up. She was on WWHL high as hell when last season ended. If she brings that energy I could see her ruffling feathers and them pouncing.

Sondland would be smart to turn on the president. He has already committed perjury not to mention His involvement in this. He can’t risk a Democrat winning in 2020 and him going to prison. This is the only thing that may save him. Going and lying *again* will hurt his case. On the subject of Politico and Kamala, it’s very odd. If she’s doing so poorly and has no chance, why is there such a large effort to have her drop out or steal her data? Why the heavy negative articles? I know her campaign hasn’t been perfect, but since Tulsi’s attack (which she couldn’t rebute in the time given) they’ve pounced on her to shape the narrative. On the flip side, Mayor Pete (who I’m convinced is a republican) rose only due to the media. They have heavily featured him all these months because he’s an interesting story being gay and that has allowed him to fundraise and be perceived as a frontrunner. He has no chance of getting the nomination even if he wins Iowa and New Hampshire, but they have ignored his faults to boost him and it’s just screwing everything up.

Every season until BH ends they will ask LVP to return and offer her anything to do it. That’s just a fact! Andy has made it clear he hated having to lose her. He ain’t stupid. He knows she’s their bread and butter.

I'm very confused about Salt Lake City and will reserve judgement until we have a cast and trailer. I'm disappointed they didn't announce it with those things. I don't know enough about the city other than stereotypes so I will keep an open mind.

LVP did indeed appear tonight, but left before the RHOBH cast went on stage lol. She got a huge reaction too. As for the future of Dallas, I think it's safe since they're already casting for next season. I just can't imagine how long it can go on with these ratings. It must do really well with delayed viewing. My biggest question with this upcoming new city is what kind of wealth level it'll have. Also curious if they'll go with the all black or white cast or (gasp!) an integrated cast. I wonder if this might be the untitled HWs spin-off airing on Peacock. Regardless, it would be stunning if they do a full cast reveal at Bravo Con. That would be an iconic end to such a long awaited event.

I read LVP will be on the Watch What Happens episode and possibly at the Vanderpump Rules party afterwards.
