  1. I've been rewatching Buffy and in season 5 there was an episode where Buffy's family is in danger and she has to leave them with vampire Spike to protect them. Spike hates people so he begrudgingly agreed on the condition that they didn't interrupt him when he's watching Passions! Then Buffy's mom asked if Spike thought Timmy was really dead and asked what he thought of a wedding that happened. I thought it was hilarious! An iconic show like Buffy mentioning Passions was pretty cute. Makes me want a reboot even more.
  2. Please tell me you're joking...he has TikTok videos? I have to ask because in this new era you never can tell when someone is joking.
  3. There have been rumors that Matt Lauer was about to start his comeback tour so I'm guessing one of the networks was willing to give him another shot. I think that's the real reason he's lashing out and upset because this ends any chance of a TV return. I'm surprised that's not been mentioned at least in the articles I've seen.
  4. Beverly Hills has already filmed their opening, which would suggest they're far along in filming and still not even the hint of a rumor of any type of conflict for the season. Either they're doing a great job of keeping everything under wraps or we're in for a slow season.
  5. Very underwhelming I felt. It didn't seem to go anywhere. You did get to see more of them filming the show and also the last three episodes worked better because Shannen was featured more and you got to see the ensemble together. Overall it was a decent experiment, but forgettable. I still think they should've done a proper continuation.
  6. This looks really good and from what I’ve heard Discovery has improved and I love the idea of the time jump. I canceled my All Access when I stopped watching Y&R but this is making me want to get it back so I can catch up with Discovery before it premieres.
  7. Guliani and Pompeo are next, likely in that order. He’ll dump Guliani first bc he’s of little use to him. With Pompeo’s role in the government he can help cover things up so Trump will stick with him for a while, but that man has no loyalty. They are all insane not to see that. You can’t even feel bad for them bc they’re literally so stupid.
  8. How could that be a good idea? Won’t that make Perry turn on him and be more willing to cooperate? If the alternative is taking the fall, he has no choice but turn on Trump.
  9. That is especially true when you look at polling being in favor of impeachent. That will be gold and kill republican chances in the Senate and House. Much like what happened with Nixon, if it gets bad enough, I could see them trying to cut a deal with Dems to replace Pence so his successor would become president instead of Pelosi. Just depends how bad it gets. Even if Pence were to survive, he's toxic from his association with Trump and doesn't have the charisma to overcome that. I know many democrats have been afraid of impeachment, but they need to gain power from the message which is that Trump's level of corruption is unacceptable. If the american public accepts it then they deserve the torment they get, but I truly don't see him winning without foreign help and fraud.
  10. It's obvious that Bill Taylor was creating a written record in case this came out and Sondland was clearly trying to avoid creating a paper trail because he knew this was illegal! It's going to be amazing to see how republicans twist themselves into pretzels to defend this. We aren't even at the two way mark and there is so much evidence against these fools.
  11. I'm going to be optimistic about this. The Tim Burton movie was largely panned for it's tone so I can't see them doing the same thing again. I feel this will have the dark tone needed. I also love that it is a continuation and not a remake. I hope they still use time travel like the original. Due to age I wouldn't expect to see many if any of the original actors, which is fine. I just like the idea of the mythology still existing.
  12. RHOP finished the season without having a bad episode! Truly a flawless year that cemented them as a powerhouse RH franchise. I'm curious where things go next season since the entire cast (with Charisse and Katie swapping spots) returning. I just don't see how Ashley and Michael can continue to be viable with absolutely no allies. They could really use a strong newbie to mix things up a bit, but I haven't heard of anybody new filming. At the very least I do wish Katie were returning, but that ship has sailed.
  13. Oh I absolutely believe there are more whistleblowers. It's largely being overlooked, but once recently revealed that Trump was having people at the IRS interfere with a tax audit or something like that. As things heat up, more people are going to throw him under the bus to protect themselves. Trump has shown he is loyal to no one. I can't imagine after Michael Flynn, Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort and Rick Gates that people are going to stay loyal to him in hopes of a pardon. Hell, even Rudy Guliani is going to turn on him, it's just a matter of time.
  14. I didn't know they changed the plans to film them back to back. I assumed they would've made sure writing was complete before they went into production. Now I worry it'll cause spoilers if they still plan on filming Ends before Kills is released. When only certain actors return for filming, it could lead to spoilers. I hope they can keep it under wraps because I find it pretty exciting that they're giving a horror series this type of treatment and I still want to be surprised. I want it to be an event much like Marvel or Star Wars where I can go in not knowing what to expect.
  15. Kyle has been going back and forth for a while now so I'm gonna assume she at least has a decent sized role in the first sequel. I'm still curious who is going to appear in both and I wonder if some of the people announced are just for the final sequel. I don't imagine they'll specify any of that due to spoilers.
  16. A problem I worry for Warren is that she hasn't been vetted enough and that, among other things, might come back to bite her when she gets the nomination. When she was on Colbert and The Breakfast Show, they both tripped her up with tough questions that went beyond her talking point. She still keeps dodging the middle class tax question. I think she would still possibly win, but it'll be a lot tougher for her once she actually gets the nomination.
  17. The Washington Post story was shocking, as was Guliani falling for the bait and showing screenshots of his texts with that State Department official who quickly resigned. This is moving faster than I anticipated and if the Post story is any indication, the people at the white house see the writing on the wall and are trying to save their asses. Now that it's truly at Watergate levels, I feel they're more worried about potential jail sentences. Imagine what next week is gonna be like if this is just day three. It's difficult to think of a suitable running mate for Biden, but he will need someone strong as VP to motivate people. It's just a matter of who would agree to it. His age might make people put aside their feelings and join him though.
  18. If she doesn't get the nomination I hope she stays in the Senate. No VP or cabinet position. I feel the press has kept trying to minimize her and act like she's only running for VP which makes me not want her to do that. She's too talented for a figurehead position.
  19. I’m not surprised by the RHOA cast. They usually play it safe with peaches. The trailer didn’t reveal a lot, but this is a show where I don’t need a trailer because you know they’ll deliver. Looks like Kenya’s will pay off! Looks like this’ll be one of her good seasons hopefully. I started to love her when she left so I’m hoping for more of real Kenya.
  20. That Jersey trailer is everything! I feel like they get better each season! I'm glad the cast is the same. I liked both newbies. Tomorrow RHOA is announced and there's a rumor we may be surprised by the cast. I'm guessing that means either Marlo got a peach or Tanya didn't. I can't imagine what else is shocking. Eva being demoted wouldn't be shocking if that happened. ETA: okay now the they're saying Tanya and Marlo got swapped for peaches. Now if true I'm happy Marlo finally got her due but I wish Tanya had a peach as well. I think Marlo now having kids (she's raising her deceased brothers kids) may have helped her story, in addition to her hair business.
  21. This is crazy. This is the cleaned up transcript, so what the hell does the actual whistleblower complaint look like?! This also is incredibly damaging for Bill Barr, especially since he backed withholding the whistleblower complaint that clearly implicated him as well...who else does it implicate?! Rudy Guliani is completely fucked as well. He’s the first one that will likely go down. They’ll try to pin everything on him to save their asses.
  22. I never would've imagined this show would be what brings Queen Joseline back to our screens but I'm here for it! Apparently she's besties with the new friend Buffie. Hopefully this goes well and they add her to RHOA next year. I've always loved her!
  23. I do agree with you about her prosecutor record and also the fact that she doesn't have the name recognition of some of the others. I still think she could do well in the end if she continues her heavy appearances. As people get to know her they do seem to like her and it is still early. One thing that I feel will hurt her is that the next debate is back on CNN and if their last one is any indication, they will be out for blood in an effort to get ratings and turn it into a Real Housewives reunion again. With Warren, I feel if she maintains her momentum they may support her *until* she gets the nomination, then the media will pounce. Their first choice is still clearly Joe Biden and if he gets the nomination it'll make what they did to Hilary look like child's play.
  24. This is a really good article which compares the difference in how Kamala Harris was treated at the GLAAD town hall compared to Elizabeth Warren. It's pretty amazing. The person who did the interviewing is a straight cis-gender white woman who isn't even clearly a democrat. She supported Bernie, but there is no record of her supporting Obama. She also tweeted a week before the town hall how excited she was to meet Elizabeth Warren so it raises the question if she was too biased for this. She didn't even seem educated on LGBT issues so she was an odd choice to do the questioning. Here's the link: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/9/21/1886908/-The-white-bias-of-the-LGBTQ-forum I feel there's a lot you can clock Kamala on (and you should! Everybody should be vetted), but she's been pretty strong on LGBT rights, so to come so hard against her was odd in this type of forum.
  25. Panty Gate I remember foolishly giving the benefit of the doubt bc I found the show entertaining overall, but that was the start of them burning what should be a minor story into the ground. It's so weird too bc the early seasons dealt with such heavy issues. Now accidently stepping on someone's toe could provide 15 episodes of story. I feel Potomac and NYC work so well because they can get over stuff. Even when they don't like each other they still tolerate each other like adults would do. Here if one person's mad then everybody piles on and that's all you hear about. I hate that!
