  1. Also, with any job, who remembers the full names of all their coworkers? I don’t think that was odd at all. Especially considering how long he was on the show.
  2. LOL! In case y’all haven’t heard RHOA is doing an online reunion. This picture is a joke but I imagine the real result won’t be much better. Nene and Kim had to cancel their Instagram video chat tonight because Nene couldn’t figure out how to press the join button to merge their videos together. I feel for the poor interns who have to help them set up the tech for this reunion!
  3. Even if you take the rerun aspect out, P&G is stupid for not going to Hallmark or Lifetime and doing ongoing movies for their canceled soaps. Both networks have a built in system to churn out those films and they have a built in audience. You could literally take any group of characters and throw them into movies about almost anything. Plus it keeps the brand alive. It's as if these people don't want to make money.
  4. This premiere was great. It was a slight refresh since the majority of the cast is back, but the lack of Bethenny opened up the show so much and the energy was better. I did not miss her one but. I also feel others like Tinsley benefitted from Bethenny being gone. The newbies Elyse and Leah - Both were good. Leah fit in perfectly and seems like a unique addition that can hold her own. Elyse feels more low key like when they'd have real friends of the girls come on. Not quite HW material, but I appreciate her presence. Love her accent as well. They did well with both newbies! Ramona, Sonja and Luann were all delightful. Dorinda is over the top as always and you can tell she's going to be the bad guy. You can also tell it's her fault lol. Bethenny's exit is going to allow them more time to focus on Dorinda being an [!@#$%^&*]. I look forward to this! Also since we know it's Tinsley's swan song I feel like she won't bother me as much.
  5. THIS IS WHY NENE WILL FOREVER BE MY FAVORITE NO MATTER WHAT SHE DO! When I tell y’all I am on the floor screaming in tears about to choke to death! 😩😭
  6. @Cat, when it comes to talking heads they aren't finished filming yet. I know Camille mentioned that she was supposed to do them but isn't anymore so she doesn't think she'll appear much. I would imagine Brandi will have talking heads though. A big issue is that Bravo only has the first 5-6 episodes ready to go. With Corona going on they don't know how they'll be able to finish the talking heads. According to the article I saw, Bravo prefers to do the talking heads as the season goes because the women are more candid once they start watching and hearing what everybody is saying. I just hope they figure out editing and the talking heads so we don't get any interuptions for NY, Potomac or BH. It's bad enough we've been waiting.
  7. I don't think that would cause them not to air an episode. If we could get a Victoria Rowell heavy tribute to Kristoff St. John (honestly, the only respectful way to do it), then I would expect to see Terry and Brenda if they decide to go deep into the 80s. It would be kinda hard to really showcase the 80s without them. You'd end up sacrificing the Abbott family and Katherine who are both incredibly popular. Brenda they could probably avoid because Jess had some good stuff from 87-89 with Phillip, Katherine and Nina, but The Abbott family with Terry Lester is where their best episodes were. With Dina back I could see them wanting to feature her and you also have Eileen Davidson who only interacting with Terry Lester in her first run.
  8. @All My Shadows, the Emmerdale episodes on Amazon are brand new. I was shocked when I saw that and it looks like they are complete years. Considering it's a pretty big stretch and I've enjoyed the show before I've decided to watch it. The first few episodes were VERY VERY slow. Production values and styling on the show are also very dated. I struggled so much that I decided to research this period and it seems where the episodes start is when the show was trying to transition from a slow rural soap to the Emmerdale we know today. Towards the end of the first batch of episodes is their big plane crash story I heard about. This allowed them to get rid of dead weight and amp things up and from what I've seen it was successful. Knowing that's coming I'm going to stick with it at least a couple months into the post-plane crash show.
  9. I also feel like the "enthusiasm" argument is part of the media pushing a horse race for ratings. We went through this in 2016 and are again--Bernie is *NOT* as popular as the media makes him out to be. His people whine about him getting unfair press coverage, but like any republican running for office, he gets pass after pass due to "fairness." This cycle he raised more money than anybody and had a built in grassroots movement and tons of good press and STILL couldn't win. Bernie gets lots of excitement on social media, but it is not translating into votes. Young people love them, but where are they when it comes time to vote? They kick and scream because he's losing, but the numbers don't lie. The latest thing is that they say voter suppression, but nobodies vote is suppressed more than the black community and they ALWAYS come out in droves to vote. They just didn't vote for Bernie. Black voters came out in such big numbers that Biden has swept this primary. The media has spent 4 years interviewing Trump voters and talking about how to win over more white people and completely ignored black voters AGAIN. The result isn't a surprise. Bernie didn't even TRY to win these voters over. If the media were being real and not trying to get ratings they would be saying what a horrible candidate Bernie has been. I'm so tired of him and the conspiracy theories.
  10. Re: Talking Head Looks Kyle - Looks great without the bangs, but with the bangs that is her worst look ever. Denise, Sutton - Simple, but I think it works and will look good in motion. I'm *really* excited for Sutton, especially after the house tour Bravo posted. I think she'll be a good surprise. Lisa Rinna - Not crazy about the dress, but she looks GREAT! That hair should be her natural hair. She needs to let go that tired, dated lion mane she normally wears. I don't care if it's her signature, grow and move on. Garcelle - GORGEOUS! From her instagram I love her style and both of her looks are simple, but glam and I love her hair in both. With Garcelle she is someone I feel always looks nice, but she isn't trying. It never feels like she's wearing a costume or TRYING to be seen. Dorit/Erika - They're the opposite of the effortlessness you see from Garcelle. Both are gorgeous and we know you can do fashion, but it's trying too hard and both of their looks look like costumes. Money can't buy you class and it can't buy you taste either. That aside, I am *so* excited for Beverly Hills!
  11. I'm excited for this. I thought season one was an easy watch and it looks like it'll continue to be good. I still hate that Houston was wasted on Friday and never given a shot. They had such a good, diverse cast and it was entertaining. Bravo missed out on having another broad franchise when they dumped Houston.
  12. The NYC taglines I actually found very strong. Leah, Ramona and Luann were all excellent and I LOVE Dorinda screaming hers for some bizarre reason lol. I'm looking forward to a fun season from them.
  13. I muted him on Twitter to avoid seeing things like that, but it does seem dire. The irony is that republicans in the senate seem to be the ones having to quarantine and seem to be in more danger because they simply aren't taking this seriously. I worry with the Senate that things will get worse for all of them due to the lack of pre cautions being taken. Then so many people are still taking this too lightly assuming they'll get government checks. I havent' been counting on that because we know how full of it these people are. As we can see by the bill they're trying to pass, it's likely most Americans won't get anything and the businesses will be the ones saved. If that happens I can't imagine how Americans will react.
  14. Via Youtube I've been re-watching Knots Landing and the page I use has started adding some short lived soaps so I've started on those as well. So far I've found CPW, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, 2000 Malibu Road and Savannah. SO far I've watched CPW, Palisades and just started Malibu Road. Pacific Palisades - This was the first I watched and I'd seen it before so it wasn't a surprise or anything. I will say, this was is very enjoyable in a Melrose Place meets Knots Landing sort of way, but the cast is very hit or miss. Also I find it odd that considering how amazing the writing staff is that the show wasn't better. You literally had writers from both of the best eras of Knots Landing on the show, but it was largely forgettable. I also think casting Joan Collins as an American faking her accent was silly when you had Finola Hughes on the show. Also considering Finola's character had rich parents it would've made more sense to cast Joan as her mother. All in all this was a fun watch, but understandable why it ended. Central Park West/CPW - This is one of the most iconic flops considering how high profile and expensive it was. In the end it was obviously just on the wrong network because this show was EXCELLENT. Well written and well cast. I'd love a reboot of this. Because of the lack of success they did a massive retool which including changing the name. CPW was TERRIBLE. One of the worst things I've ever seen. It was turned into a dated, disjointed copy of Dynasty down to the plot points. Raquel Welch was horrific and most of the promising young cast was wasted with the retool. 2000 Malibu Road - I've only seen the two hour premiere, but this was really interesting. It had it's own identity and I couldn't really place it in terms of similarities to any of the other primetime soaps. It's a shame CBS didn't have faith in the show because I feel it could've gone on for years. This holds up well. From what I gather this was a surprise ratings hit, but CBS had let the casts options expire (thinking it would flop) and they couldn't get everything back together to renew the show. Lisa Hartman Black is EXCELLENT here in a role very different from both of her Knots Landing roles. Tuesday Knight is another surprise as Drew Barrymore's crazy sister. Lots of familiar soap faces as well. So far I've seen Robin Strasser, Scott Bryce and Brian Bloom pop up. Next I think I will watch Paper Dolls which I haven't seen in years. I have Savannah on DVD but I remember getting bored and never finishing it so that one I will probably watch last.
  15. This actually looks better than the trailer! Still doesn’t change the fact that we know all this stuff happens at the end of a long season.
  16. Sutton despite being announced as a HW, filming a title and intro card and filming the *entire* season has been demoted. Overall looks watchable. You can tell it's edited within an inch of its life though and we know the Denise stuff is the end of the season so it'll be interesting to see how they make 20 episodes out of this.
  17. With everything shut down I wonder what is even going to happen with the HWs shows that are filming. I believe you have OC which has been filming for a few weeks and New Jersey just started filming. There's no telling how long the gap will be until they resume filming. Dallas I can't see premiering until next year now because they haven't even started filming.
  18. RHOA reunion was due to tape Thursday but according to Twitter it had been canceled for now.
  19. Biden not reaching out to Jesse Jackson makes sense considering how Anti-Obama he was. He lost lots of respect and support in the black community over that. I don’t think he’s ever fully recovered from that.
  20. She already turned Obama down for AG so I don’t see that happening. She’s made it clear she’s been there and done that. I’d say either VP or Secretary of State or she’ll stay in the Senate where she’s very effective.
  21. Bravo's app is listing April 15th as RHOBH's premiere date. I'm hoping that means we get an official announcement soon. This has been so drawn out that my expectations have skyrocketed. After all this hype in the press, extended filming and a fricking cast of thousands, this better be amazing. SMH!
  22. At this point, Bernie is 100% done in my mind and it's due to what yall are talking about, which is an arrogance that he and his followers have and a lack of desire to work with others. I've been saying you can't threaten people to vote for you. You need to reach out and ENGAGE. On Rachel Maddow last night, she had to re-direct him THREE TIMES to speak about black voters, not generalized "POC." In the end he conceded that Hillary and Obama (with Biden getting an Obama bump) were too popular with black voters so he couldn't compete with them. He knew this in 2016, so it amazes me he has not tried to reach out to the black community since then. He wouldn't even meet with Jim Clyburn to try and spread his message to black voters. I feel the media, as always, gave him a pass and reported on him and his movement in a way that made it seem like he was the sure bet. Everybody is shocked he did so poorly on Super Tuesday, but this was always obvious if the people reporting on it were more diverse. Most of the current shocks are only because the black community has largely been ignored by the media. We spent so much time on interviewing Trump supporters and focusing on the midwest and they forget their main constituency. Right now Bernie has canceled a rally in Mississippi because he has given up on trying to gain the black vote and his Castro comments have killed him in Florida. In a poll with Bloomberg, Sanders and Biden, he got 12% of the vote! He's toast. My biggest question now is when he will drop out, if Biden continues stacking up these wins. He says he'll bow out if Biden gets a majority, but that is so hard to believe given his history.
  23. I never expected Hillary to pick Tim Kaine, so anything CAN happen, but Biden has mentioned Kamala enough that it certainly isn't a long shot to think she's on his short list.
  24. @DRW50 I keep forgetting about Bloomberg. I have no idea the impact he will have. Polls have been so wrong I don't trust them and the amount of money he has invested it's just hard to know how things will fall for him. The thing with these endorsements is I do think they would've had a big impact if they were sooner. It's hard to judge how much of an impact they'll have the day before Super Tuesday with so many people voting early. I wonder how the results will be listed considering so many people have dropped out.
  25. I had MSNBC on as I was cooking and I was confused when Hardball went right into the opening credits instead of his usual opening quip into the credits. I turned my head and he announced it was his last show and apologized for the allegations against him. It seemed like he was going to finish the show, but they immediately went to commercial and when they came back Steve Kornacki was at a news desk damn near in tears and clearly confused. They had to go to ANOTHER commercial so he could get it together and take over the show. It was a total mess! By the end of the show Kornacki WAS crying and he had to apologize to the guests who were scheduled and on standby and couldn't appear due to all the confusion. Now I agree Chris Matthews was long overdue for an exit, but I was shocked at just how it happened. You could tell the network wasn't prepared for that. In other news, I was stunned to see Amy drop out today! I enjoyed Amy, Pete and Beto's speeches at Biden's rally. It's overdue and I hope it has an impact. I think Pete has grown throughout the campaign and has a future if he continues to grow and learns from this. Warren did a speech afterwards saying that the people who dropped out were "Washington elites" trying to convince you to vote for Biden. She has been such a disappointment and as this campaign goes on you can't tell what she truly believes. She just seems to want to win and seems very self-centered. She has less votes and delegates than Amy or Pete, yet is trying to stay until the convention for what?! Even if it was a brokered convention she wouldn't have a chance. It would obvious be between Biden and Sanders.
