I'm still ignoring the mermaid storyline

It is days like this that make me hate Siren. Sometimes I like her but this whole mermaid song crap is annoying.

I love Kay and Tabitha's relationship-it is so nice how she is like a mother to her. Loved their scenes but I still don't buy Kay/Miguel. I buy Kay still having feelings for him but on Miguel's side it is so hard given what he felt for Charity. It just seems forced. Loved Endora today-hilarious and cute as usual.

Jaresa was great-great acting by Lindsey and Stevenson. I just love these two-this story is so good and I just love the conflict being that she is Mrs. Crane.

Love Spike and glad we know all about Spike even though it was predicatable. I hope Spike or someone else takes Chris out because he is just a waste.

This was the first time in years - actually probably since the show started - that I have respected Sheridan. I normally dislike her, but she was doing something she thought would help Luis. Wow. This could be a good triangle if things are balanced - could probably be the best one on Passions if written and executed properly.

I disagree. Spike is a fun bad guy to watch with his sleaze and humour. Chris Maleki is so perfect in this role. Spike wanting to rob the Crane Mansion was funny. I really with JER would flesh out Spike to showcase CM's talents. He is probably the second best actor next to Masters.

But, today, I got Jared totally.

OMG, I am ALL about the Crane heist storyline. My God, JER is going for the JUGULAR isn't he? I remember the days when I thought Lucy was daring...then Jaresa...then the "Police Academy" story...but JER has topped himself once again with this VERY ambitious Crane Mansion heist. I mean, that is almost unheard of!!! It'll be HILARIOUS if Spike makes off with six or seven billion. I am PUMPED for this exciting story!!

As for Jared, my heart just BROKE today. I really wasn't expecting that. I thought he'd be taken aback and then think, "But wait, you're NOTHING like I imagined....you're sweet and kind and love your little boy. You're nothing like that !@#$%^&*] I read about in the tabloids." Cue romantic music and then the two make out. But what I got was an out-and-out BEATDOWN. My God, Jared! And my poor Tess!!! This Jaresa fan is so brokenhearted. But at the time time, it's setbacks like these that remind me of Shuis' beginnings, when they too were touch and go. And let's admit it, if the couple is exciting and they break up before they even lift off the ground, you're GOING to come back for more. My God, JER, you've done it again!! I am SO dying until Monday because of this one.

How incredibly HOT were Lucy during that holster scene? O-M-G. Still, I think that was a bit inappropriate on Luis' part. What if one of the guys applying for the force asked him to "show me how it's done?" Would he feel around their waist to make sure the thing was firm and secure? Because I really don't think so!!

I used to be thoroughly disgusted by the Tabitha/Kay relationship. AFter all, Kay is MOOCHING off Tabs, and what must that look like to other Harmonites? A woman her age WILLINGLY living with a 100-year-old woman (remember, Sam said she looked the same way when he was a kid so they must think she's 100 or so)? That's just so weird. Especially since they're not blood-related. In real life, Kay would be the LAUGHING STOCK of Harmony.

I simply MUST agree, Toups. First, of course, I was completely turned off by the character because he was just SO mean and criminal and disgusting...but then JER made Spike a 'funny' pervert and we could laugh at his sexually perverse and criminal hijinks. Plus, Chris really is a great actor, and his wonderful acting makes me want Spike to stay around. Even so, I honestly feel that Spike is the next 'Alistair.' He is just SO evil and clearly, what JER wants to be invincible. Spike will NOT die. He'll probably be a regular, and I wouldn't have said that a year ago but now, by damn, I AM, people! Okay, I SO digressed from the point I was trying to make. What was it again? Oh yeah, Spike is just so over-the-top evil but Chris' acting makes it so believable that I'm actually SCARED of a daytime character again and not laughing at their poor attempt to play 'bad.' SIP you make a good point about Jared. I guess I can see where he's coming from. My only problem is, though we've seen much more of Tess than Jared has, he HAS seen her in action for about two or three days straight. I should hope he gleaned enough of her complicated character from those days.

Tabitha wants her close so she can manipulate Kay. No matter how nice she seems to be, Tabitha is hoping for a Miguel/Kay union so that Charity will no longer be a threat to her and Endora. She's also encouraging Miguel to go after Kay. She couldn't do that if he lived with his mom, or on his own. I'm sure Miguel and Fox are also paying her for staying there, not that she needs the money. All she has to do is get Endora to conjure up anything she needs. It must look above board to everyone in Harmony.

Tabitha/Endora/Kay were the highlight of the show for me, today. Endora making her cute little faces, growling, and then looking excited about having a bath. I love that kid.

He was way too harsh about someone he's only read about in tabloids. In Theresa's case, there's more to the truth than just the cold hard facts.

I might also add that in addition to being Harmony's laughing stock, in a perfect world, many of the busybody Harmonites would frown on her because she has clearly turned her back on her family by living so close to them, but choosing to live with her old, crazy, whackjob nextdoor neighbor instead.

I guess it just shows that Kay's moved beyond caring what the townsfolk think of her. Maybe they do think she's a laughing stock, but she doesn't care because she's got too much going on to concern herself with what people think of her. As long as she knows what's going on, that's all that matters to her. People might think she's wasting her money living next door to her dad, but she knows better. People might think Tabitha is a whackjob, but she knows that Tabitha has power and can help her.
