After watching today's show, I knew that bonding with the new baby was gong to have Luke wavering back to staying close to Holden and the rest of his family. The minute Luke told Damian that he was staying where he was, and not going to Malta, Damian didn't look pleased, period.

The next thing we see is him making his way to the hopsital in his effort to dumb Luke down about his feelings (constantly harping about the problems with Holden as his way to get control again). Then WHAM he's holding a bottle of pills and then leaves.

I, and imagine even Damian, knew that Luke was going to ask Lucy what the medication was for. So begins the plan to get Luke to Malta regardless of anything.

My question, is this? Is Damian actually sick or is this just another attempt to get his way and take Luke away from his family all because he's ashamed to actually have a son that is gay?

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if he were faking it, lol. I kinda hope NOT, but this is a soap, so... odds are he's probably faking it.

I personally think that since Martha took her maternity leave, things have just simply stalled in regards to this storyline. I don't see Damian facing getting busted till sometime mid November/December....I think they are going to drag this storyline out.

I'm not liking at all how Damian is acting. For a character that was created as being one of the loves of Lily's life; and how he's been said to have cherished her, the writers have really done a whole new thing in making him a cold and calculating monster, especially to his own son.

I think he was faking it (and if he isn't faking it I don't think it's THAT serious). He will stop at nothing to get Luke out of Oakdale so he can "fix" him. Remember, he was the one who got the guy to come get Luke .

I think everyone should leave Luke alone and let him leave somewhere on his own so he can figure some things out. That would be best for him and if Damian really wanted whats best for him then he would do that. And yes, I also think he is ashamed of Luke being gay. Creep.

I completely agree about the SL stalling. Seems like TPTB didn't think this one out - HELLO, they knew Martha would be out 3 months, right?

And yes, SweetNYGal, Damian used to be a very caring person, especially towards Lily and baby Luke. (Were you watching then?) It was actually hard for me to decide who I wanted Lily to be with during that time - Damian or Holden? I HATE what TPTB have done to him - hate, hate, hate!!

But back to the question, YES, I absolutely think he's faking it. BUT, I think something WILL be wrong with him down the road, and just like the little boy that cried wolf, no one will believe him, most of all Luke.

It would be much more shocking if he wasn't faking it.
