Well, this past one went on for like 2.5 months, didn't it?

No, the past day only lasted about a week. It started with Theresa and everyone on the Crane jet returning home, which happened last Tuesday or Wednesday.

Another great episode

Friends and Family interaction.

Sam Luis and Noah

Theresa and Whitney

Fancy and Sheridan

That is what made Passions good in the beginning.

Loved Firen today :)

Valerie is back. I want to see more of her

So far this week has been really good.

Val was a snarky !@#$%^&*] to Whitney. LOVED IT! :D

Oh god, I HATTTTTTTTE VALERIE!!!!!!

Passions shows some promise, and then goes back to showing ZERO! It's so frustrating.

They need to move Becs/Jules/Eve/TC to frontburner NOW before I take this [!@#$%^&*] off my back to school lineup.

Anything with Eve and Julian in it is boring, though. If TPTB want the story to sizzle, then hook up Rebecca with TC and let the sparks fly! Eve and Julian's reactions would be entertaining too.

Evian are boring, I agree. That's why they need to be broken up ASAP.

No, a new day started in *Harmony* 1 or 2 days before July 4. However, the night/day never ended in Rome. On the last day/night, Harmony time jumped ahead of Rome time.

I am LOVING Passions right now. Everything but the stupid Kay memory loss, which showed hints of ending today, is working for me.

KR I think your tastes have changed or maybe your over Passions  .

I do agree though that Evian are boring-I like them but they are boring.

I think that's just what Passions lovers need to keep telling themselves.

Why? I am loving the show right now. A month ago I hated it and only found a few shades of good stuff here and there. Right now it is getting back on track and other then the Kay story I am liking it. Alot of people on other boards are getting into it too.

You are one of the only Passions fan I know that seems to be unhappy overall which is why I was wondering if your taste may have changed :) .

Oh, come onnnnnn. You never hated/disliked anything Passions did this summer. You defended/loved it. What are you talking about! You've been seeing "shades of classic Passions" for four months.

  • Member

UH...no. Actually I have been defending it this month and I did say I liked some of June with Luis and Fancy, Beth/motorcycle crash, Norma/Edna, the lesbian revolt, Kam as Sheridan, etc. I was on the fence in June. Some things I liked others I didn't. This month I love it, everything but Kay's memory story. I love it all but that so no I did not defend the entire show. I did give it props for improving last month and I will give it major credit for improving ALOT this month so you are wrong on that. I think you have me confused with JSF  .

You have to admit that your tastes may have changed because you have been awfully hard on Passions and the show right now is improving. I am not saying it's 2000 Passions but it is showing signs and it is watchable and entertaining again. :)

Oh well-different strokes I guess. I really thought you would everything now as the show is in a good place but whatever :) .

I really don't see how my tuning into shows like Guiding Light and Young and the Restless which are undoubtedly hands down better than Passions is on a daily basis means that my tastes have changed. I have been watching DAYS for fourteen years. Thanks. When Passions is good, I say it. When it sucks, I say it, which is more than I can say for the Passions lovers who alllllllllways have the rose-colored glasses on. Last Monday's episode was the best episode of Passions in four or so years easily. My tastes haven't changed. Passions has. Its execution of everything is awful. It's not how it used to be. The outlandishness of Tabitha/Endora is pretty much the only thing I consistently like. So, Passions' craziness/zaniness is not what is turning me off. I'm not growing out or maturing out of it. I just want a show to be good and take itself seriously and have movement and not be a walking/talking embarassment to daytime.
