I dont know if it was discussed here but i just got word that GH may be getting a new HW. Rumors are spreading that Frons is letting Guza go on behalf of Genie Francis since Pratt and Guza fucked her up before... There are 2 names rumored...Claire Labine and Michael Val Jean

Um....yeah....there is no Michael Val Jean. And isn't Claire Labine up there in age? How old is she now?

And I highly doubt Genie Francis has that much power and she's only coming for a limited run (a month or so). Also, Frons and Guza are buddies. No way he takes Genie's side over Guza.

with the return of Genie Francis later this year, GH may undergo some major writing changes! rumor has it that Guza is on his way OUT as Head Writer and two names are being tossed up as possible replacements for a new Head Writer: Claire Labine and Michele Val Jean!!!

it's no secret that Francis left due to the writing and direction of her character (Guza and Pratt were the HW's) so it would make sense that GH may cut their losses with Guza at the helm, not too mention the decline in ratings, and now the return of Laura....and other popular vets!!

Claire Labine worked at Guiding Light for awhile, and she wasn't that great. She didn't stay very long. I think she may have lost her touch. I like General Hospital. The ratings are poor for everyone, not just GH.

She was also butting heads with Paul Rauch and Mary Alice Dwyber-Dobbin. There are very few HW's that could put out good material with them around.

I have a hard time believing this b/c I thought Frons and Guza were good friends; however, with GH's ratings tanking, we all know that Frons would do anything to save his favorite soap.
