Hmmm........Mr. Frons,

I'm not a fan of ABCD. But, I join my soap opera brothers and sisters in their struggle to get across the dept of their , how you say, displeasure, at the current state of not only your daytime soaps, but all of ABC's daytime programming. As a soap fan of over 30 years experience, I can't recall the last time I've seen such ranker on the part of ABC Daytime fans. Nay, soap fans period. To be called Satan........dear sir, how do you respond to such hatred? I would say that you are a better man than me, but, seeing as you must have performed some type of sexual favor on every single member of the Academy to have GH win for Best Drama the last two years, I really would be selling myself very short.

So.......here's what I propose. Why don't you........oh, I don't know.......stop telling your henchmen and henchwomen to monitor this board. We know we're great, but what you did today has now put us in the stratosphere. And, two pieces of advice, if I may.

One. Never take on the press.

Two. Never take on the fans.

This garbage that you or whoever has done today really has made you look like a complete fool, and that boggles the mind. You want to be pissed? How about wasting an hour of one's day watching total dreck, an hour you can never get back. Hopefully, I will not have to keep walking past checkout lanes at the grocery store seeing how Sonny dumped Emily for Carly.

By the way........are those the only three actors on ABCD?

Dear Mr. Frons:

As a huge fan of Santa Barbara and Days of Our Lives while you were at NBC Daytime, I'd like to think you for presiding over such romantic, exciting, ground-breaking and truly must-see soap operas during the late 1980s-early 90s.

Since then, though, you have reduced ABC Daytime to a misogynistic, ageist, violent and unwatchable piece of crap. It pains me to see a show like GH -- which should really enjoy a callibre of writing second only to the glorious Santa Barbara -- reduced to repetitive SLs leading nowhere, one-note female characters and a mumbling mobster who never learns, never evolves and unjustly dominates each and every SL.

So please. Give Carolyn Culliton HW duties at OLTL. Promote Karen Harris over to AMC. And give Patrick Mulcahey HW duties at GH, with Claire Labine as Consulting Producer.

And then take one GIANT step back, stop interfering, and let them do their friggin' job and work some soap magic.

Find a way to lure Rebecca Budig( Greenlee) back, get rid of the bad dialogue, find a story for Danielle and Reggie, show that Reggie and Jamie were friends and still should be friends instead of Reggie being relegated to being a yes man for Jack and Lily.

Furthermore, give lily back her smarts. Her condition should not make her naive to a psycho killer. That's retarded!

There should also cease character proping at the expense of realism i.e. Sonny Corinthos, Babe Carey, JR, etc...

Black characters are not the plage. Write for them and not just as the token drug dealer.
