So, Steo?

They were nice today. I liked that they had each other to confide in and comfort each other over the messes that they're both in. I'm interested in seeing what's going to happen here. In all honestly, I'm not really sure about them becoming an actual couple, but I would completely be on board with the two of them having a hot steamy affair 🥵🥵😂😂

Stephanie really needs something more to do. Something that doesn't involve Alex.

Speaking of Alex, I'm assuming we were supposed to be on his side today, but it didn't work. Maybe it was because of RSW's acting style again lol but I was leaning more towards taking Joy's side, and Stephanie's too. I wish the confrontation that he had with Stephanie had gone on a little longer.

As for the Dimeras, I'm a little interested in seeing if EJ revealing to Johnny that Kristen and Sophia were working together is going to lead to something good happening but everything else involving EJ and Lexie was pretty much just FF material. They really need to put Johnny back in Marlena's or the Brady family's orbit again

And yeah, they really need to find a much better way to use Lani, and Eli too. Bringing her back just to be a talk to for Paulina and Theo. was not the way to go.

All his episodes will probably be around 50 minutes since the 35-40 minute episodes were already completed and then John's scenes added into them. He hasn't added Days to his IMDB roles yet, but Zach

I keep forgetting Lani and Eli are even back in Salem full-time.

I can understand them wanting to phase Lani and Eli back onto the canvas gradually, but this doesn't feel like that at all. I don't get what they're trying to do here

It was mostly about EJ today.

Some of it was good, some of it was just FF material. Brady and Steve spoke for all of us though; EJ does have a lot of plates spinning right now and hopefully he drops one soon.

At first, I wasn't a fan of EJ being the one who bought out Philip and Xander's loan. It felt too much like a letdown to me. But now I guess I can understand why Paula/Jeanne chose to do it like this, especially now that EJ knows that Gabi used her inheritance to pay off some of the loan and struck back at them too. His showdown with Gabi wasn't bad but I also think that it could've been much better. And honestly, I think the reason for that was Dan Feuerriegel himself. It just felt like he was blowing a lot of hot air today, as opposed to being an actual successful villain. Like he was just pretending to be angry and sinister, but deep down knew that everyone got the better of him. I didn't feel any actual anger coming from him. Sort of like how Chad Duell used to play Michael on GH lol. Maybe it's time for a recast... or a write out.

And I see that Gabi got her own office set... which is just the redressed Salem Inn room 😂

I'm glad that Xander had Philip to talk to today about what happened with Sarah. It basically provides him with a different perspective than he got from Marlena. Getting two different opinions about his feelings for Sarah could lead to something interesting happening for Xander.

Speaking of Sarah, I like that she finally told Holly that EJ was the one who planted the drugs in her bag. I didn't expect her to have a confrontation with Amy though. It actually wasn't that bad either. Hopefully, something good happens for Holly as a result of both scenes... and that it somehow involves Daddy Choi too 😍😂😂😂

Kristen's scenes were basically the FF material that I was talking about.

Yep, gotta say it again... #poorPeter

He did look good though 😉😊😊

And I think Dimitri was speaking for the fans when he said that no one truly cares about Leo 😂😂

But even that isn't gonna save this storyline, or the character of Dimitri, in general, which really is sad. And all because Ron Carlivati was too ignorant and too obsessed.

Days is continuing to miss so many good opportunities with Dimitri. And writing everything like a big stupid joke isn't helping either. It messed all of this up even more than it already is. Seriously, Stefano would be ashamed of him. Plus, I imagine if he was still alive, he would be encouraging Dimitri to pursue Will; the same way that he pursued Marlena, and how EJ pursued Sami; which would be way, wayyyyy better than this nonsense and not just for the obvious reasons lol. Anything would be better.

I had mixed feelings about Philip and Xander's conversation though. It started off a little lousy and self-pitying, but it got better as the episode went on. I always enjoy when they start talking about their relationships with Victor, and how it continues to affect the both of them even now.

And I already said what the one thing is that would make Javi going to Alamainia actually work lol but I did like how he was there for Joy today. It's always good to see him in paramedic mode. And I'm curious to see if Joy's health problems are going to lead to something good happening. But I do think Joy having pain and numbness in her arm would have been a lot better if it had been the result of Stephanie accidentally shooting her, as opposed to the offscreen accident that she had.

And I'm glad that Kayla was there for Stephanie too.

I’m starting to like Cwikly/Ford. I love Leo and both Javi and Dimitri want him. Best storyline in the show!

Just finished Tuesday's show. My God, this is awful.

Writing Leo as THE person in the lives of Javi and Dimitri is insane. Javi has nightmares about poor Leo and is off to help him. Meanwhile, his ridiculously understanding boyfriend Gus is OK with this craziness over a waste of space who is old enough to be Leo's father.

The Javi actor continues to be cute -- and really weak.

Very sad too.

This is all such a waste of a good opportunity, for both characters.

It was mostly about Lexie today, even though she wasn't in the episode lol

I do think that having Lani head up the search for Lexie is an ok way to use her, but I also think that there are much more effective ways to use her as well. And btw, where's Eli?

But it was nice to see her, and Johnny be there for Theo today. Having Johnny then go and confront EJ about Lexie's disappearance was a good idea too, especially since it led to EJ confessing the truth to him. I do have mixed feelings about Johnny deciding not to tell Theo where Lexie is though. On the one hand, I hate that he's still doing EJ's dirty work. The two of them should be at odds, and having Johnny just be EJ's lapdog is a big mistake, IMO. But on the other hand, Johnny keeping the secret could cause some tension and animosity between him and Theo, and that could lead to something interesting happening.

But yeah, there really needs to be some more movement in EJ and Cat's storyline. I feel like they've been playing this same beat for forever now. Something really needs to happen. And Andrew needs to have a bigger part in this storyline as well.

As for Stephanie, I'm still liking the way that everything is being built up with her and Alex, especially now that she's moving in with Shawn and Jada.

It was one year ago (Aug. 7, 2025) that Noel Maxam mentioned Stefano's ring symbolizing the show to him, the evil and the family or whatever. I don't know wtf he's doing with this vision for the show.

The entire Lexie arc is dumb. The only thing I can * speculate * is perhaps the Lexie arc was intended as triggering a dark turn for Theo? Perhaps Maxam envisioned Stefano's ring going to Theo at some point in the future, even though EJ has it now. If not the physical ring being transferred, then maybe the symbolism of its dark nature being transferred to Theo?

(To clarify, Maxam didn't mention Theo. He only talked about the ring, that EJ has it, and who knows where it might go next.) He said this a year ago, so I don't consider it spoilerish anymore.

If that's the plan for Theo, I'm just not here for that.
(This is only my >speculation< , as a way to try to figure out why they chose to do the stupid Lexie arc.)

Sigh that we have to wait a year to see Ryan Quan's writing.

That's what I sometimes do: I try to figure out explanations for things that don't make sense. Instead of just accepting that they don't make sense!

I'm glad someone finally had the brilliant idea to call Celeste. You'd think that would've been the first move!

I could get behind Theo going darker, as a result of Lexie’s death, but only if he’s determined to bring down the “house of Dimera” for good, the same way that Johnny should be doing right now too. It wouldn’t make Lexie’s return worth it lol but it would at least give it some significance.

And Theo going darker would also fit into the way that TJA plays the character. I still think his acting style works for Theo though, for the most part anyway
