Ahh, well that's good to know and I'm happy to hear that about KM.

I really hope you're right about that pool! ;)

I think we (and the whole audience) love Robin and KM since we watched her grow up literally on screen and in no way will ever settle for a recast.

Thank YOU for the Michael tip. ;) But seriously, there has not been a summer in ages where Frank has not brought out the pool set and found creative and fun ways to get the men shirtless and/or wet. So if it isn't next week (or the first frame next Monday) I will be shocked as well. I also said you all can tag me when it appears. :D

Pivoting Trina into singing was a illogical storyline idea. I really loved Trina's career goal of an art museum curator, I think it's intelligent and unique. The Britt-Rocco storyline is disgusting a

It’s ridiculous. Even if I buy the conceit he isn’t acting to protect himself, Jason, and Laura from the dead professor being blamed on them (the cover up certainly should be), show that to us! We ha

I've said it before, but Frank is much less blatant these days with the male flesh and ogling it with the camera than he was in his first 3-5 years at GH or during his OLTL tenure. He clearly has enjoyed showing off Gio, Chase, Michael, etc. recently but the displays in the last 5+ years are still far less luxuriant than they used to be, and in different clothing or lack thereof. That goes to him toning down his show across the board for what he clearly feels are more conservative times, unfortunately.

It would be a good time if they are going to be having a goodbye for Robert.

I saw some people on Twitter insisting the show should recast Robin and Patrick...it reminded me of just how out of touch I am with some fans if they really think the show should recast Robin.

There are some parts you just cannot recast. I could see Patrick possibly working out with the right actor. But without Robin there to sell it, it’s pointless. The current Emma never shared a scene with any of them, so using her to anchor him would be a mistake. I also believe they were GH’s last true supercouple (although they tried very hard with Dante/Lulu).

The fact that Carly has been successfully recast multiple times is an outlier on soaps in general, and on GH especially unusual. Robin is one of the characters that just should not be recast. GH has a lot of them tbh!

I find it odd that soap fans are so upset Robin isn’t there that they would rather have a recast than Kimberly. What’s the point of that? So Robin can pop in and drink coffee at Bobbie’s and talk to Anna about Emma? They often argue it takes them out of the story that Robin isn’t there with what is happening with Anna for example. So having a fake Robin would not? That’s just strange to me. We already suffered through the mess of Kimberly not being a full time cast member and Patrick being there. They alternated between ignoring Patrick or breaking them up. Sometimes it is just best to move forward.

And I will gladly eat crow to see Frank check himself by bowing down to said conversatives and shock me by not having the pool set out.

And like Dani and Joey and the bet...we can revisit it at the end of summer.

She just got a big job too, she’s a producer on the Romy and Michelle sequel with the director that she worked with on High School Musical.

She is active on instagram in GH cast/show/fan circles and posts her own memories from time to time. So is Vanessa Marcil as well. These folks love the show and their relationships from it.

Most soap fans don't ever want it. Those other folks are still the small contingent that cheered on the rumors that Frank wanted to recast with Budig in 2015 and always want everything to be a hot! fire! new exciting recast. Which Frank was not foolish enough to bull ahead with.

Unless something dramatically changes I think Robin's time as a long-running contract player came to a natural end after many great years. I enjoy her visits or stints but that's enough. I don't see what another long run would serve unless Kimberly somehow wanted to come back and be a strong support a la Jane Elliot, perhaps on a limited schedule.

He used that shower set for many sexy scenes at OLTL. Ron also writes men as sex objects more into shows as HW, so he played a part in that on both shows with Frank.

Very true. But explicit sex was also definitely a major part of Frank's other creative regimes at OLTL, from nearly Day 1 with Ty Treadway and Cat Hickland in 2003.

Oh no doubt. The guy had no problem pushing the envelope at OLTL. Even after they jettisoned the gay storyline, they still sexed it up with straight characters. Now he actively makes pablum for the niche masses that still watch soaps. At least the characters get to have natural conflict again after years of everyone being genial all the time.

WOW she is!!!??? Good for her.

That is always good to see. And also why I continue to hold out hope for Vanessa Marcil.

Oh wow - that's awesome, happy to hear that about her! I'll have to go give her a follow on IG.

Definitely a shame that he's either cowering or being pushed on the conservative agenda.

But I'll forever be grateful for that snowstorm scene with Cody earlier this year in those long johns. That didn't leave much left to the imagination and I was here for it haha.

Chase continues to annoy me this week. I'm glad Tracey doesn't like him.

+1 to both, although I am less annoyed by Chase when he has his shirt off.

Lol. To be fair, that can quite a few of the guys on this show.
