2 hours ago2 hr Member Just starting today's... but LOVE that it's starting out with a song. I love music montages on soaps. Just really brings out the emotions in those characters (and me).
2 hours ago2 hr Member Do I skip over the opening too often or is Ernestine Johnson (Shanice) finally in it? It's time for a contract.

1 hour ago1 hr Member -- Really weird to see the entire Dupree family and friends take over the entire reception area around the nurses desk. They should have repurposed a set to be a waiting room. Hanging around counters where doctors and nurses need access? I guess the Duprees can do anything they like.-- It's great that the hospital has no other patients the day after the tornado and that everything is calm there for the Duprees to gather.-- The Martin livestream was also weird. Yes, they'll offer free meals there for tornado victims, but we'll never see any of that. It's election day and he has no one with him but a guy with a camera and tripod?-- So Victor Newman's campaign speech didn't get lost with the tornado and its aftermath. I mean, come on. -- We should have had dialogue indicating that many people might not vote at all after what happened. I appreciate working the campaign and election into the show at all, but some of it is cringe.-- Joey is there for Izaiah? Just gag me. How does Elon have no idea that Izaiah and Joey were in each others' lives?-- Pleather-clad Vanessa and Joey should disappear. I'd rather Smitty had been at the hospital than to see those two at all.-- The Kat and Eva stuff was well done, including the visits to their bedsides.

When Leslie entered there was a diagonal sort of shot that allowed for all of the Duprees to be shown as well. Those technical aspects really do help make scenes.
