I like HIM! He's charismatic and handsome. I recall his younger days on AMC and Mean Girls.

Nice to see him back on soaps. Hope he's a new love interest for Lucas.

I prefer the title, Former AMC actor....lol

I love Jonathan, and happy to see him back in daytime... but why?

I've read this a few times about Van's tics - but what are they? I haven't noticed anything that sticks out to me, but curious.

Van Hansis is doing a great job as Lucas, the best Lucas IMHO. I am hoping Jonathan's character, Joe, is a new love interest for Lucas. I'm hoping the next people off the show are Brad, Drew, Willow, Sidwell, Cullum, Pascal, maybe Curtis, Jordan, Kai and Chase!

I miss Marco.

I have no need for the OTT facial expressions. He's nothing like Lucas as portrayed by Ryan Carnes. Carnes' Lucas didn't spend his time gossiping and whining. Hansis lacks the swagger Carnes brought to the role. Matt Trudeau, who replaced Carnes, was a block of wood with absolutely no life in him.

I'm glad they're using the character, but I never cared for Hansis on ATWT (except the Reid Olliver story, but that was more ESS). They never wrote much for Carnes, but the portrayals are like night and day. That's JMO.
