While looking at clips from the recent BTG renewal announcement on the set, I couldn't help but notice a woman looking like Ashley Jones (Bridget, B&B)

So I looked at Ashley's IG and guess what she was wearing yesterday:

So the question is:

is Bridget coming over to give Nurse Ashley a run for her money in vanilla-ness?

Or is AJ coming in as a new character?

This is from her IG on March 5 - the video itself is a promotion for Ricola, but what's interesting is that she says she's working on something and commuting by airplane, having to make sure her kids are taken care of while she's away. This is from her ig stories today April 15. Seems to be part two of something. Maybe part one was an ig story that already disappeared? Says she's been working on this project for two months . . . Had a 6:18am call. Lots of lines. "I'm going to take you with me on this journey so when I start airing . . . "

Here's something from January in which she auditioned for some role and got it, but had to dye her hair, and it's a network thing. Looks like her hair is red? Doesn't say if it's a long role or a single episode gig. (no idea if it's related to the other stuff or if it's an unrelated gig).

I spied her in the same video yesterday, and that is absolutely one of the dressing rooms at Assembly Studios. She's on that set.

I love Ashley Jones. Brad Bell gave her absolute dreck at Bold but she held her own there for years.

I wonder what the role is. Vanessa’s sister?

I love Ashley Jones so excited for this tea. Hopefully a new character and not Bridget. And goodness knows Ashley can act from her years on Y&R and had memorable appearances in TRUE BLOOD Season 2.

I always liked AJ. She's deserved better from B&B and GH.

Unlike most of you, I am NOT happy with this.

It's the level of MEGA vanillaness we don't need (if you catch my drift).

You should be able to update it by clicking the three dots at the top of your original post, correct?

As for that... yeah, it's unfortunate.

This could be another recurring role so I'll reserve judgmenet, but I remain confident that this show will not be whitewashed. Production has done too much to market it to Black viewers to even think about going in that direction.
