They just posted another episode from 1998! The quality is so great on these. Hearing the full beginning and end credits really warms my heart!

Eek!!! I assume it’s to much to hope they’ll start from the beginning and fully open the vault…but honestly that post gives me hope. If this is successful it could lead to bigger releases :) a nice start for days fans I say!

If I had my druthers, I'd vote for the years 1965-1977 to be offered up on the streaming platform.

My next preference would be complete seasons from 1966 -1977, the halcyon days, written by William J. Bell and Pat Falken Smith.

(I realize some of he archives have been lost, but I'd include all the surviving material.)

If I had to whittle it down even further (ugh, what a hard decision!), I'd settle for 1971-1976. The show was at its zenith; I'd loathe to shrink the streaming content more. And...five years is not THAT much to ask for, TBH.

They finally uploaded an episode from 1998! An episode surrounding the killing pool story.

Wonder if it will be random or if they'll eventually go the B&B route and upload full seasons.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I echo the comments that I hope they will go back much further. Even uploading those very early episodes that were put on Soapnet at one point would be nice.

Seeing Edmund reminds that they brought the character back and locked him up for no apparent reason. I guess he isn't even mentioned now.

They have a few clips from the first episode posted, perhaps they'll post those episodes. I know the first two episodes aired on Soapnet at one point. I am still wondering what seasons are actually missing? I think Stephanie Sloane said the second season was lost a few years ago. But what is the second season? 1967? 1966-1967? During the 60th they aired scenes from late fall 1966 and early fall 1967. Ken Corday has said on more then one occasion the whole run of the show is archived and digitized. Hopefully this will lead to us finding out!

They have announced that the seasons selected for streaming are:

Season 58 (2022–2023)

– Salem is rocked by shocking returns, the aftermath of the Devil storyline, and the move to Peacock that ushered in a darker, more cinematic era of Days of Our Lives, with betrayals, resurrections, and family wars escalating across the DiMera, Brady, and Kiriakis clans.

Season 52 (2016–2017)

– A season packed with classic soap twists, including long-running rivalries, surprise paternity reveals, and high-stakes crimes that pushed Salem’s families to the breaking point during one of the show’s most traditional, fast-paced story eras.

Season 30 (1994–1995)

– One of the most legendary years in soap history, featuring the unforgettable Marlena possession storyline, levitation scene, and exorcism that became one of the most iconic moments ever on daytime television.

What a bitter disappointment to me. While I recognize that JER had his fans, turning DAYS into a low-brow, campy, ugly slasher fest destroyed forever the integrity and quality of the once-adult, subtle, erudite, quality drama.

And...Dena Higley material? Really?

I don't recall hordes of viewers being thrilled about enduring the show when the 2016/17 episodes were originally airing.

2022 and 2023 saw typical Carlivati dreck with more lame and unbelievable science fiction. Do viewers really crave rewatching those recent years?

We don't get treated to any of the stellar, highly-rated William J. Bell/Pat Falken Smith glory DAYS?

I wonder if the organizers of this project purposely chose material to rerun, which wouldn't make viewers of the 2026 episodes judge the current show harshly, seeing how good it used to be... decades ago.

Interesting, they ended up posting 1998 episodes instead!
