  1. Hmm... who was in the elevator during the swap-off in the brown scrubs? I will be closely paying attention.

  2. OH SNAP! IT WAS GRAYSON!

hmm indeed… thought we finally would see an old time friday cliffhanger. but nope, there was the reveal, confirming what had been speculated. really, would it have killed them to hold off until the next episode? do MVJ, et al believe that viewers really so impatient they can’t wait a day — or in the case, a weekend?

It was a classic Friday cliffhanger, which I am not mad about. And given how much people have b*tched about wanting more of those, too, I have a feeling it is going to be the right choice for a lot of people.

Grayson and Jacob knowing each other is gonna make this so messy.

I actually believe Grayson is innocent in all of this. He's trying to care for his mom and feels like this is the only way to do so.

Tamara had me in tears again today. The Emmy is hers at this point no question

Tunie did well today, per usual, but agree these were natural and powerful scenes.

I feel like roles are reversed right now with Smitty and Martin. Last year, Martin was dodgy, suspicious and shutting Smitty out from something important and dangerous.... not Smitty is doing it with Martin. If I were Martin and got that reaction from Smitty today, I would have called him out immediately.

I got the vibe today that Derek/Ashley may still be a thing. The look she gave him when she was impressed by him, and then the hug at the end... that felt more than just 'friends'.

I also thought the cliffhanger was strong. I'm glad they showed the two of them looking at each other and recognizing each other - it's like an 'oh sh!t' moment and now I can't wait to see how it plays out next week. I do get the sense they'll redeem Grayson long-term and he won't be a short-term 'villain'.

Previews look good for next week! Deanna will be a firecracker.

It'll be months (probably) before we get another Friday cliffhanger on a Friday. This was a Wednesday's episode.

They've been running two days behind in 2026 because of a couple of preemptions. One was President's Day; the other was a day right after New Year's.

I noticed it when the Valentine's episode (which should've aired the Friday before Valentine's) didn't appear on our screens till the following Tuesday.

Then there was an episode with several references to Mardi Gras Tuesday. It aired the Thursday following Mardi Gras day, clearly 2 days past its scheduled airdate.

Mona launched into a big discussion about the "beginning of Lent" on a Friday, when Lent had begun two days earlier. They intended for that episode to air on Ash Wednesday.

They seem to be consistently running two days behind ever since New Year.

Technically, it is a Thursday episode (244 aired today).

I think Grayson is only involved because it's probably paying him extra money so he can care for his mother, that I think does have Parkinson's.

Lia being very interested in the free clinic was a red flag.. I have a feeling that will be a dropping off point for 'deliveries' down the road.

Oddly Ashley/Derek had good friendship chemistry.

Based on the previews, it looks as though Deanna will be a typical bratty character... and Kat already fulfills that role already.

-- I'm ok with the blood plasma storyline, but they're botching the execution.

-- Jacob again at that corner brick wall to get his marching orders? And Smitty meeting him there...for what?

-- The Grayson package drop and reveal should never have been done in the elevator leading to the nurses' desk. This is supposed to be a cloak-and-dagger operation, and it's just absurd.

-- Also absurd is Derek being the point man for all things free clinic. He just walks into Garland, meets the chief of staff, and 2 minutes later has an agreement. Chief Lia -- without any research or even a fact sheet of information -- says she'll link the hospital to the clinic and talk to the board. I feel like Josh Griffith is writing this.

Deanna is in the previews, so I can comment on her here.

Once again, I think they cast an actor who looks much older than the character is supposed to be.
