One can hope.

Realistically the characters that have the potential to run their course are as follows:

Tomas - After the Eva hook up, his airtime has decreased.. while Kat vs Eva has focused back on their dad Ted then on a guy. I could see Tomas being phased out after being dumped by Kat and perhaps fired by Bill.

Hayley/Randy - She's poisoning her hubby Bill... so I could see her being carted off to prison and Randy being 'sent away' by Joey.

Derek/Ashley - Normally I would say they are next on the chopping block.. but because they're the token white couple.. they might be spared until a more compelling white male and female are introduced.

Chelsea - The show seems unable to consistently write for her character since day 1 and since there are numerous Dupree women on the show.. it would be best to phase her out and re-introduce her later.

I would do anything possible to keep Marquita Goings as long as possible. She is an amazing presence and the character is viral on the internet. The week after the twist revealing her true nature... was if I'm not mistaken the most watched since April or something like that. There are plenty of ways to keep her and to write her in a way that can open new possibilities. I mean... people have killed or poisoned others on soaps and stayed for decades. I would tone her down at some point after the culmination of the poisoning. The show needs to tone down the villains, because they do appear cartoonish. Not that I don't like them... but they are not THAT deep, and it's pretty evident.

I would cut Tomas and then I would revamp Ashley. Jen Jacob is pretty mid level actress, but she doesn't bother me, as much as the writing for her character is very annoying and repetitive. IF and that's the worst case scenario type of thing THEY NEED to keep Tomas, because who knows why (in the business there are million reasons why an actor can't be fired lol)... AT LEAST tone down the AMOUNT of dialogue. Make him undress more and flex his muscles and keep that mouth shut.

I think they are starting to build on Chelsea and Madison re: her mother. They were sort of an instant lesbian couple til just a few weeks ago, and now they at least have my interest.

I also think RhonniRose has more skill for comedy, and they need to lean into that. As well as build out the ChelseaKat business and assemble recurring players and a work environment and more active stories about.

Naomi I could dump any time unless she sleeps with her hot brother-in-law for some drama (and Jacob I could do the same unless he sleeps with Kat).

We know she was always eavesdropping. How much about Martin does she really know for example?

I would cut off Vanessa if they don't plan to do anything more complicated than the current one trick pony that she is. She's a very boring stereotype of a ... that needs more nuance. They need to dive more into the conflict with her son.

I just don't feel they had her talking about it in dialogue until it would come back up as things do on this show. I think she will find a way to wiggle out of the poisoning.

Besides the fact that she will probably frame SPS for it. ;)

Of course she will... and then she'll have her Alexis Carrington year where she rules the entire community. Hayley is not someone they should let go easily. Marquita is a diamond in the rough. Any sane person can see it. They need to keep her. I'll part with 10 other characters before I choose the Hamilton Widow! ❤️

What happened with Martin has to come back. A bunch of them know Joey Armstrong killed a man to keep that secret. Sooner or later it's gonna blow.

I remember there was this Turkish soap opera that was very popular couple of years ago... Very high budget, a lot of their biggest stars... And the main antagonist who was poisoning her husband the same way Hayley is doing... finally after realizing the tables are turning on her... her time running out, invited the entire family and poisoned them all at the same time at the dinner. The episode finished with all of them falling on the floor dead or dying with a very dramatic music. Of course not all died, the leads survived...

I'm just saying... we don't know if Hayley is not a fan of Turkish soaps. 😁

P.S. And here she is poisoning her second husband... in 1 try. Hayley needs to take a lesson.
