WOW - nice seeing AMC tie for 3rd. Hasn't happened in awhile. Thanks to Tad/Dixie. Next week they should at least keep steady with the Dixie/JR meeting.

How does OLTL stay at 2.6 when they got a 2.54? They never round right...lol

DAYS! what happened :(

Nice to see ATWT go up a little - I'm a new viewer and I'm loving it.

I really hate that people are blaming no Nick and Phyllis for the ratings going down. That is what I have always loved about Y&R and its fans. No one went oh so and and so caused the ratings to fall or rise. People seem to enjoy the show as whole and didn't make a big deal about a small drop. Y&R is still way ahead of the other soaps so what is there to complain about. I like Nick and Phyllis, too, but I don't want to see them become a couple where them and their fans hold this show hostage. We get enough of that crap with the other eight soaps.

Well glad ATWT went up. Can't figure out Days new low. The last 3 days last week were very good episodes. Totally surprised that the ratings were bad for those days. Which I know I and many others here had to tape Friday's episode. So maybe many others did too.

I felt sure Y&R would finally rebound but they stayed the same again this week. ATWT was the only CBS show that went up any.

I just hope in the coming weeks Days will rebound. With ABC's big stunts coming for May sweeps I fear they won't until after all of ABC's stunts end. That is not a bash of ABC - just a known and proven observation from the last year at sweeps time.

Too bad Days didn't plan to bring back Patch & Kayla during May instead of June - it might have really boosted their sweeps ratings greatly.

Surprised at DAYS 2.3  Last week was boring and I hate Patrick, so I don't guess I should be surprised.

But wow to Passions holding steady. I thought it went up when DAYS did and dropped when DAYS did? Guess that's a myth ;)

I haven't watch Days in 2 weeks now, so I really can't comment. I find it boring and there is really no movment.

As for Passion, KUDOS to them for staying steady! I have been catching bits and pieces of it and I find my self surprise that I like it. so GO Passions.

You can tell by the board here that Days is really boring at the moment..Especially last week, so it going down is no suprise..The patrick and alma stuff was beyond lame...And nothing really happened last week..

But a 2.3 sucks...Dena Higley didn't even get them that low..JER your losing it...

Not a big surprise although the last 3 shows last week were pretty good. I think Days will inch up a bit this week because its been better. It always seems like when AMC goes up Days drops.

Steve you are right. I know Days has good stuff in May but ABC will do sweeps stunts and dominate. I just hope Days can inch back up to abour 2.6-2.7 in May and then I will expect huge numbers in June.

Well I guess I need to prepare for all then anti-Days people to come out  .

Well if it weren;t for Higley Days may still maintain a higher number. She began this awful cycle. Many people on this board have liked Days this week and liked it the last 3 days of last and it has been being talked about the last week or so so it has gotten better then early April. Stuff happened last week it just wasn't anything to grab ratings I guess.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.

    • I started a separate thread for the same tribute, but of course it can be discussed wherever. doesn't matter where. Fyi  Jason Cook, Staci Greason, and Eileen Davidson will be there as well as Reckell and some of the current cast Thread for Live tribute to Drake https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68987-days-currentformer-actors-live-video-tribute-for-drake-hogestyn
    • Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.
