• The look both Laura and Mona gave Nicole about the previous night with Ted is everything. They are not buying what little Nicole is trying to sell to them.
• Uh-oh, Vernon is in hot water with Ms Anita. He better tell her the truth if he knows what is good for him.
• Not Dani calling Dana a homewrecking thot! Whew. Bold language. We love it.
• Aw, I like how connected Eva and Ted have become. That is the kind of relationship she needs from one of her biological parents, especially since she is not getting it from Dana.
• The finger point, without breaking eye contact, of Dani pointing out the portrait when Andre tells her the Duprees do not own the country club. That was hilarious. Dani proved her point without stating a word.
• Both Nicole and Ted are feeling things about their late-night encounter, and it works. They belong together and should not avoid it.
• Oops... it looks like we have got one-on-ones happening between Andre and Vernon and Dani and Anita. This is going to be interesting.
• Damn Dana and that fire alarm. Not fair. They were going to rekindle that dimly lit flame.
• Not Dana wanting to poach everyone at the country club to work for her directly at her 'shouse,' and then acting a fool with her headphones. I would be those other guests, too.
• Dani is doing her best to sell that she is over her Bill Hamilton era, but Anita is absolutely not buying what her youngest is selling.
• The sheer look of disgust on Eva's face with Dana admitting she pulled the fire alarm was genius.
• I love that Mona is all for Nicole and Ted reuniting. We love seeing that kind of support.
• How sweet that despite both of their grievances, Anita and Vernon are supporting this marriage. That is how it should be.
• Damn. So Nicole really did end it, officially, with Ted. That makes me sad, because they do belong together. But I will be hopeful for a potential reunion!

Notes:

• I could tell from the opening scenes either the writer or writer² was the breakdown writer for today... and it looks like it is the latter. Whew. We are in for it today, and I do not look forward to it one iota.
• I continue to appreciate the use of real food in scenes, whether at the country club, Orphey Gene's, or Uptown. It is that touch that really makes it feel real to me. Not to mention, the food does look like domb [dot] com, and I would like that grilled cheese and fries that Eva is not munching on yet.
• The chemistry between Daphneé Duplaix (Nicole) and Keith D. Robinson (Ted) is beautiful, and I hope we get to see it re-blossom into 2026, because it is a chemistry that cannot be denied.

Keiyh and Daphnee got that chemistry baby. Aint no way in hell they about to squander that.

I wish I could see it, I saw it with OG Ted, but have yet to see it with these two

I agree and Keith just sells the scenes better......... IMO. 

How it take Ashley Darby 4 years to get a divorce but Ted and Nicole's is finalized in a month?

I really hope Nicole and Ted are over for good. They both need to move on. I don't want to see Ted with Leslie either. I really want Nicole to be with someone who actually loves and appreciates her, if it's with Carlton or with someone else; I don't care who. Also I don't understand why Mona and Laura are rooting for Nicole to get back with Ted even after what Ted did to her. Who wants to be with a guy who basically abandoned her while she was going through some horrible miscarriages? Just no. 

And please don't tell me that Vernon is going to wind up a cheater too.

Oh Lord, I hope not!  We've had enough legacy cheaters for the first year of the series.  Give Vernon another secret, PRETTY PLEASE...

Leslie saved Ted from being used. Nicole was not going to forgive him, she would have slept with him and then gave him the same "it's over" answer afterwards. That's why Nicole said the fire alarm saved her from making a mistake. Not that Leslie was right for pulling that stunt.

Not sure who Vernon was on the phone with, but I guess the Duprees haven't had their full of secrets yet.

I would love to see how the new changes in storyline... affect the ratings. I have a good feeling... I hope I'm right.

That’s where I’m at. I see no heat.

If Ted and Nicole had that push/pull type of connection then it wouldn't any different than the whole Bill/Dani dynamic.  Having Ted/Nicole end their marriage, which seemed built on a flimsy house of cards, is probably best and seeing how the two function post divorce.   Nicole had her interactions with Carlton and perhaps another future male character while Ted has had a few nice interactions with June that could grow into a nice friendship/casual dating situationship.

I remember back when B & B started that there were instances where Stephanie Forrester was taking calls.. and viewers were led to believe that she was doing something romantic behind Eric's back and it eventually was revealed that she was nursing their long believed dead daughter Angela (which turned out to be an imposter).... so I'm assuming that whomever Vernon was talking to today isn't an affair.. but perhaps something else that is non romantic based (he has been shown taking calls and leaving suddenly so I have a feeling more will be revealed).

I think the main reason why the last thirty to forty episodes seemed to be cooking was because the writers were starting to gear up for the end of the initial 200 episode pick up.. and I'm sure there was a plan in place if they didn't get an additional pick up.

Also, I think Guza was nearing the end of his initial contract with BTG and he decided to move some plots to the next stage so that his replacement Tracy T would be able to pick up the threads and help plan the next stages of the story.  I truly think that she'll handle the more detailed planning of the story with MVJ giving final approval.

Mona bible thumping is another point against her.. and considering she's not married, not in a relationship, nor has a child... Nicole nor any other married/divorce person shouldn't listen to her.
