Michael Roark is joining the cast of Peacock’s “Days of our Lives” in an as-yet-to-be-announced character, it was announced on Monday.

First reported by The Buzz, the casting news was later confirmed by Soap Opera Digest, with a show spokesperson saying, “Yes, Michael Roark has been taping but won’t be seen on-air until the first week of October. No comment about the role he is playing nor the storyline in which he is involved. Stay tuned!”

Soap fans will remember Roark for his role as Travis Crawford on “The Young and the Restless” in 2016, where he was romantically involved with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), whom he met after she began frequenting his bar, Hank’s Dive Bar. He later became an employee of Newman Enterprises, though the job didn’t last after several of his lies became public.

Other credits for Roark include appearances in episodes of such shows as “9-1-1” and “NCIS: Los Angeles,” as well a starring role as Colton Donavan in the Passionflix original series “Driven,” which also featured “Days of our Lives” star Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan) and alum Casey Diedrick (ex-Chad DiMera). The series ran for just three seasons and produced 16 episodes.

Roark currently stars in the Passionflix original “The Black Dagger Brotherhood,” a six-episode series which premiered earlier this month and is based on the paranormal romance books by author J. R. Ward.

Check out the trailer for “The Black Dagger Brotherhood” below.

I totally misread this and thinking this was about Roark Critchlow and I went  “Huh I don’t remember him on Y&R at all!” 😅🥴

I enjoyed him on Y&R and hope he does well on DAYS.

Same. I thought the Travis character was fun although the change from Pratt to Sussman abruptly led to the character being written off mid-story. Didn’t he randomly chose to hookup with his ex-wife and leave town with her?

Roark Critchlow is making a visit as Mike Horton to DAYS in the summer or autumn of 2025, per the new trailer that covers summer and part of autumn.

Michael Roark is debuting as unannounced character on DAYS in early October 2025.  I haven't seen any announcement as to whether this is a longterm or short-term role.

I'm mildly curious if Roark C. and M. Roark will air at the same time or interact.

Michael Roark is debuting as unannounced character on DAYS in early October 2025.
With the tape-to-airdate gap currently at ten months, he likely began taping in early January 2025, or just before Christmas 2024.

Hank Northrop (son of Wayne) will debut as an unannounced character, debut date not specified, and his first scenes will be with James Reynolds.
Hank said that on his birthday January 9, 2025, he received the notification that he was booked for DAYS.   It doesn't say when he began taping.
His casting was announced Feb. 14, 2025.

Wondering who these two actors (Michael Roark and Hank Northrop) will play.  And whether they will be longterm or short-term.

I'll have an update on some of this shortly.

I believe the 10-month ahead schedule is fairly recent due to most shows' summer hiatus, particularly this month (July). I'm certain they'll return to nine months at most no later than September.

It's looking more and more likely Michael Roark will be playing Jeremy Horton, and I couldn't be more enthused. Roark seems like perfect casting for the part, if so, and since he debuts in October, I can rest assured this is purely a Cwikly/Ford move. I very much look forward to his debut.
