The last few episodes have reminded me of watching old soaps.  I was hesitant to get behind the hype but damn!

The show is starting to improve with going to commercial break, just adding a tiny musical cue or a single note in the background as the scene ends, does emphasize the drama.

I still can't get over how awkward the Derek actor is. He looks so uncomfortable no matter what. Even when he took his shirt off and walked away it was goofy. This is one element I need them to hurry and explain because we know these characters aren't going anywhere. I just need to know why and with a quickness.

Scenes like that yesterday and today make me view Dani as the antagonist.  I don't know if MVJ was intending that or not.

I actually prefer Ashley/Derek to Dani... only because they're not meant to be a lead so lower expectations.
