Did these fools really count off their hands together on 3, shout "the Richardsons!” and fake collapse together on the couch?! I’m leaving the state.

LMAOOO I love how they keep cutting back to Dana decked out to the alleged nines in her black leather and sipping her wine in her efficiency apartment, wearing her snuggie slippers no less! That is character without having to say anything. Well done.

The kids are too old but they're good so I'll allow it. The girl is especially good. This show is actually well-spoiled for young female talent (except for teakwood Naomi). The issue atm is many of the men are either mid, bad (Tomas), their parents/relations, or Derek. I'm sure that will change.

Robo-Martin really acted like those kids had never met Mr. Smith before. "If the white man bribed you with candy or other DEI promises, YOU can tell ME!"

And then there's Doug. "You better get used to my affection, Vanessa! Because we have definitely been married many years and met before today!"

Why is Smitty dressed like he and his siblings are going to fly away with Peter Pan to Neverland? Not the Ranch.

chch.com/live seems to not be working, it sends me to "parrot.tv" which says "not available in my territory"

I don't have a VPN, can't afford it. 
Does this mean I can't watch live on chch from the USA anymore?

The way he phrased it to Smitty days ago... it was something like they had an arraignment that Smitty will be a stay at home parent and etc...  But at this point, when the children are almost the same age as their parents... Smitty should be able to do whatever he likes. F-ck, he never should have agreed to an arraignment like that... but... I am not judging him - he was probably gaslit into believing that was the best at the time. But now... Martin just can't take having an equal partner. That's the problem. His ego and his selfishness won't allow it. He wants someone he can boss around and dominate. Someone who is completely dependent on him.  

Knowing dynamics like these... Smitty probably has a form of Stockholm syndrome by now... He needs help. With people like Martin... it's almost like a sect. Once you are in, you can't get out. It would have been better if the children were smaller, so that a future custody battle could have given us drama... and also... if the actor that plays Martin could act.

      Thanks @kalbir what a time to have enjoyed the peak of the primetime soaps. Haha you’re good. The only complaint I have with Lorraine’s death as I mentioned recently in the FC thread was it was overkill, and all we got Apollonia. If a pregnant woman had to be killed off, I would’ve chosen just killing off Robin instead in some freak accident or in the explosion at Richard’s to save us from us that disaster lol.    Did Hotel have a cliffhanger that year? I imagine if Hotel had been soapier we would’ve had cliffhangers like the hotel catching on fire or bombed by an ex-lover of Christine. Peter pisses everyone off and is shot in his office. Or a major Golden age star like a Olivia de Havilland shows and tells how she originally owned the Hotel and how Victoria Cabot & Laura Trent stole it from her but now she owns it etc.

      Ginger Smith seemed really passionate about being in the executive producer position, and I think she really did a fantastic job in six weeks. It was just well done.

      I totally didn’t pick up on that. Just perfect! I don’t get the Maurice Johnson hate around here at all. He didn’t take me out of the scenes at all. I understood everything he was portraying. It was great. I do wonder if there will be a personality shift with the new actor, whom I’m still not excited about. Exactly. Right? I’m in the exact same boat as you. Agree with most of this except I never found anything off with Ted, didn’t suspect a thing. I just watched yesterday’s episode and it was one of the best soap episodes I’ve seen in a very long time. I was enthralled the entire time. Just fantastic.

      I was confused too, but I think it was always a "tribute thread" (this one and OLTL's were created when their cancellations were announced). They just changed the show abbreviations to their titles spelled out, I guess to make the board just a little bit more uniform. I was lost, too lol

      Well... I am. I think she's losing her initial menacing presence. Slowly but surely. I need the crazy dialed back. But as I said... this is very miniscule negative reaction. I am loving the show right now. We'll see how they'll continue after the fireworks.

      One little... very little... tiny... minuscule negative comment. I was debating if I should care to say it... In some ways... Silk has been acting clownish... I think they need to dial it back, because if this continues with the current pace... she'll be worse than Sheila in terms of getting totally predictable and not menacing anymore. TMG is one hell of an actress... I just want to see a more normal and less clownish Silkpress in the coming weeks*months. We need to dial down the wigs too. It's becoming a funny caricature and we don't want that. Maybe we do, I'm not sure. I just like her more menacing and sinister than... "Hahhahahah what is she wearing today". That's a personal preference.   So far... I am okay with it... but I have fears this may turn into a really tired joke in the future. I want TMG as long as possible on my screen!
